It's the kind of mom and pop place that I love to eat. The place is only big enough for about 7-8 tables. But the traffic never stops.Staff, including the owner, are very friendly and down to earth. I love that the owner was at each table talking and checking on customers.Food: This place is known for the quality of the steamed chicken. It's perfectly seasoned and perfectly steamed.

The price has increased a lot recently, and all chicken noodles are made from chicken legs and wings. It should be to save costs! Average taste and service. Tips should be done diligently!

I rarely gave only one star to a restaurant. Firstly, they only accepted cash. And then, I wasn't satisfied with their taste. Finally, their services were truly terrible. When there are so many restaurants in this area, I believe that you deserve a better one.

This is a 3.5 star review. We tried the beef and chicken rice noodle soup and the Hainan chicken. The chicken itself tastes good and meat the juicy but the portion of the meat is not many for the Hainan chicken. Noodle soup broth is refreshing and flavorful. Overall, it's a good place if you want to have Pho with fresh chicken broth.

The classic dish here is the pho ga of course. But don’t sleep on their other dishes! Everything on the menu is done well with just the right amount of salt and balanced flavors. Other dishes highly recommend is their bun cha hanoi, which is a lettuce wrap with rice vermicelli noodles and grilled meats. The ladies are also very nice and friendly, making it feel like I’m eating a meal in their home. Cash only.

Come hungry. Everything we ordered was excellent. The turmeric fish & dill came with a lot of veggies, the fish was crispy but tender. The pho ga paired well with the accompanying ginger sauce. The bun rieu and bun cha ca hai phong were so good and slightly sour from the tomatoes. We'll be back to try the rest of the menu.

Was shooed away from restaurant. Service attitude is horrible! Asked if we wanted hot or ice tea but then never served us drinks. Informed it was cash only no Venmo no Zelle after we were seated. No signed posted anywhere. Asked us to go to atm 3 blocks away. We found out we didn't have enough cash for tips so then started asking us to Zelle. I told them this is all we have, then was shooed away from the restaurant and heard them bad mouthing us.

Came here to try bun rieu. The size is hearty, and the taste is pretty decent. Tasted better versions of bun rieu in OC. Think its pretty alright. The service was friendly. Thinking it could be a women owned business. Ladies were sweet and accommodating. I requested to have the papaya salad without meat and all shrimp instead. They were able to adjust the dish.Overall, the food is good. I'm still on the hunt to find good bun rieu in the 626. Open to recommendations!!

Ordered the classic chicken pho and crabmeat+egg pho with tomato soup base. The food came out really quick and the small size was plenty enough to fill us up. I like that the foods were not too salty but also the flavors didn’t seem so strong. It tasted rather simple for me because I was expecting more flavors. The chicken pho broth tasted like good plain chicken soup and may be it’s how it’s supposed to be.Our biggest turn off was the hygiene. The chopsticks were too sticky that I couldn’t even wipe them with tissues without the tissues sticking to the chopsticks. The saucer that had the dipping sauce in (for the chicken pho) had a detergent smell. Lastly, the beansprouts looked so terrible. It looked like it was sitting in their fridge for weeks? I can’t believe it was still served in this bad state.

Beware!!!! Cash only restaurant. No sign posted in front until you walk up to cashier to pay where you see a small sign "cash only". Luckily I had cash on me. The food was just ok, no wow factor. Sorry, I am not coming back.

Good pho. Cash only. Friendly waitresses if you joke around with them. The Spring Rolls are good take-out snacks.

Came here for the first time tonight and had their pho ga. Omfg, never coming back here ever again! The broth was supremely chicken-y in a raw flavor kind of way, as if the chicken was just boiled in plain water and that was the broth. Had to control myself from regurgitating after the first ladle. Haiyaaa!!!! Holy god, it did not improve after that. I'm perplexed by the all positive reviews about their pho ga and seriously question people's unsophisticated palate and taste buds about their food.

to be honest i know relatives of the owner, but it really is one of my favorite places to grab pho ga. the hainan chicken is good too.
