For the past 8 years, I've been coming to this location from West Covina. Yes, I drive all the way from West Covina because I loved the value and the quality of bread along with the customer service that I would get. However, I don't know if this location is under new management because today, after 8 years, I was extremely disappointed with my visit. My senior citizen mom wanted to get some baguettes so we drove through the Drive-Thru, placed our order for 2 baguette and she requested the senior discount, which they always use to have. They told us that they no longer had the senior discount. We were both surprised but went ahead with our order and was given a total of $4. When we got to the window, we handed the $4 to the cashier and, as we always do, requested packets of mustard. They had always provided us with complimentary mustard every time we bought baguettes. We love to have a baguette with mustard on our drive back home every time we pick them up warm. The cashier left the window and came back to hand us ONE mustard packet (pictured). I asked him if we could have more mustard and he paused a few seconds and said 'no'. My mom and I were surprised because they always provided us some with a smile and no hesitation. I then asked him if I could at least have one more mustard packet (enough so that I could have a packet and my mom could have one as well),...he replied 'no' and told us he would charge us $0.50 for another packet of mustard. The packets of mustard are 0.23 ounces of mustard, not even half an ounce and he wanted to charge us $0.50??!!!......after purchasing 2 whole baguettes??! My mom and I were shocked. I honestly could not believe he was refusing to give us ONE EXTRA 0.23 OUNCE packet of mustard after we made a $4 purchase. Unreal!!!! Mustard is a basic condiment which food places should be providing when you purchase food from them. I couldn't wrap my head around the fact that they are sacrificing customer service for a 0.23 ounce packet of mustard. We left with a very disheartened feeling. After 8 years of enjoying this Lee's location and driving all the way from West Covina, just to buy baguettes here, we left very disappointed in the customer service we received. Sadly, we won't be returning and will be getting our baguette's at a bahn mi place nearby. I will definitely miss the hospitality and customer service this Lee's location use to provide.

I come here for the vanilla ca phe sua da (Vietnamese iced coffee). It's probably my favorite place to get it, even tho it's pretty sweet with the condensed milk. The atmosphere feels like an Asian market cafe with small groceries & coffee cans in the center, but it feels smaller & cozy for the older folks to hang out with their buddies inside & outside. The sandwiches are ok to good, tho there's a lot of competition for banh mi in the area. They have Buy 2 Get 1 Free for many of their items but it's not obvious unless you get their app.Bathrooms are clean. Wait is decent. There is a drive thru, try not to park where the drive thru line is or you might get trapped.

They were very helpful explaining some ingredients on the sandwiches, getting a gift card takes a little longer, they have to get a supervisor to issue one. Sandwiches are really good.Parking: Parking is around back. I didn't have any problems finding a space to park.

Had Grilled Pork and Combination Sandwich. Service is fast, but once in a while, people in the back preparing sandwiches may not get the order information when is too busy and your order could be skipped, but eventually they will get to your order. If an order takes more than 20 minutes, that's the most likely scenario. You can buy lottery tickets here.
