This unassuming restaurant in the entrance of a supermarket is a hidden gem. Found it looking for Bo Luc Lac in the LA area and found it via Instagram review than made me want to drive all the way from Long Beach and I was not disappointed, as they serve one of the better Luc Lac, tender and well balanced on sauce and pepper. Their medium is more well done than medium so adapt your request based on that. The rest of the dishes are also very well executed, fresh and flavorful. The service is efficient and friendly while attentive.Well worth a trip if you Are not close, you will not be disappointed.Parking: Parking is busy

Stumbled on this place by chance while walking in the area. The staff is very friendly. The food took a while to come out but was worth the wait. Fresh & thoughtfully prepared. We had the bún thịt nướng chả giò. I added a fried egg which was also perfect! The pork was baked perfect & the egg roll was cut to perfect portions. The veggies were very fresh. The mango smoothie was also good. We also ordered some egg rolls after. They were good. The sauce was especially great!Only gripe was the wait, but the food was very good! Hope to come again.

Free plaza parking, however it can get quite busy and takes circling around to find a spot. Accepts credit cards. Gets pretty busy during meal times especially on weekends. Food here is delicious, however if you're opting for a rice dish, be ready to wait over 30 minutes for your food to arrive!!! We were seated at 1252 and immediately ordered thereafter. All the pho bowls came out within 10 minutes but the rice dish did not arrive until 1327, over 30 minutes later after everyone was done eating. We had asked them to check in to see if they forgot our order but they just said rice dishes take a while. So keep that in mind in case you are in a hurry during lunch break. The pho filet and free range chicken pho were both delicious. The soup broth was not that great and tasted sweet like a lot of msg, however the noodles were chewy and perfect. The fried rice dish was good, after it finally came out. The filet mignon was very tender and perfectly cooked. I will definitely make this spot our go to place but may not order a rice dish. Price is on the pricier side for the area. Our rice dish was $23. FYI the floor is very greasy and slippery so watch your step. I almost slipped but caught myself.

Dis place is fire. The chicken pho is so good. Broth tastes light and the chicken is so moist. I love the gizzards. The garlic chicken wings are soo good, be sure to dip them in all the sauces they provide.Lomo saltado with red rice was okay! I would not order it again, but it was still a solid dish. Tasted a bit too oily, especially since I already got the fried garlic chicken wings.Service is quick, place is clean, ample parking. Great place for a yummy casual meal.

We got the garlic noodles with shrimp, lomo saltado with red rice, and fried rolls. The food was a good portion and had decent flavor. Service was a bit slow but overall it's a nice food spot.

Where has Pho Dakao been all my life? In my never-ending quest for the best chicken pho in the SGV, it looks like my journey can end here. This low-key neighborhood restaurant specializes in chicken pho and features free range, yellow chicken as well as other specialty Vietnamese and fusion dishes. First, let's talk about the chicken pho. The broth is delicious, aromatic and robust with just the right balance between savory, salty and sweet. The chicken flavor comes through nicely without being too light or watery. The portion sizes of chicken is decent albeit a tad inconsistent the last time I went when I noticed my husband's plate had more. Other dishes we tried were their Vietnamese fish sauce wings which is a must-order if you've never had them before. Although they sound simple, the flavor punch is anything but. We also had the lomo saltado with fries which was quite nice as well, with tender chunks of beef layered on a bed of crispy fries which has absorbed all the flavor and juices from the meat. The garlic noodles with shrimp are also really tasty too and come with a generous portion! Service is always friendly and quick, and the restaurant is well maintained and clean. My husband and I have become regulars here and has made this our go-to chicken pho place whenever we get our cravings!

I went back here 3 times in one month after finding out about this place from another Yelper. We ordered to go twice and sat in for the Pho Ga (chicken pho).I typically do not crave Pho Ga but after trying the chicken from this place I had to give it a try and I was not disappointed! It's like getting my Hainan chicken and Pho cravings satisfied at the same time. The soup was surprisingly flavorful. We had ordered their truffle fries which were crisped to perfection. I also got to try their wings that come with 2 unique sauces. We did take out orders of their whole chicken twice since it was so good. It comes with this fish sauce that is unique maybe in the sense that there is lemongrass?Their service was friendly and professional while the place itself is clean and feels pretty new still.I have been telling everyone to check out this place!

This is a specialty place is known for the chicken pho. They do offer a variety of rice plates, bowls, and other Vietnamese dishes including some fusion dishes. The soup is very light and clean, super easy to drink without it being overly salty. They put a nice amount of thinly chopped green onions too which complimented the soup flavor. Absolutely delicious!!!!They give you an option of white or dark meat....I opted for the white meat. They served me a huge portion of juicy white meat (skin left on) with a light ginger fish sauce to dip it in. They also provide different noodle choices for you besides the normal vermicelli ones- they had egg and clear noodles. I got the clear noodles which matched perfectly....they were light and springy. They also put some wood ear mushroom mixed in with the noodles which was nice. Service was good and prices were fair. Place was clean and nice inside too. Definitely will return to try some more of their options.

I have never tried chicken pho before so I was excited to come here when my friend asked me to meet up here for dinner. I love how modern the interior is yet perfect for family style dining. Upon entering the store, I noticed there were alot of vietnamese elders and families dined at this place so I knew their food must be good and authentic :) We decided to order varieties of their chicken menu:Chicken Pho with Dark MeatGarlic Chicken WingsChicken wings with fish sauce Lomo saltado with red riceI love how clear and light the chicken broth was on the pho. It was also my first time trying chicken wings with fish sauce, which were so flavorful. I gotta say my personal favorites were their lomo saltado that was cooked with beef that reminded me of the shaken beef (bo luc lac) style and garlic chicken wings. I will definitely come back to try other dishes next time.

YUMMY! This place was super clean! The servers were so nice and came up to us often to make sure we were okay! Ordered various things to try as listed in the attachments. The pho ga broth was so clean and tasty! I wish I ordered more to try! I got super full and took mine to go and it didn't taste as good at home. I got wide noodle and wish I got the regular for the beef ball. Overall, still tasty and stopping by here if I am in the area!

Came on a friday night around 7pm. It was pretty busy but there were no wait. Lots of parking in the parking lot. They have 2 single person restrooms for men and women. Food:$21 shaken "lomo" fried with red rice (9/10): The meat and veggies were cooked nicely. It's pretty good and I would say come here if you don't want to go all the way to the Vox.$20 garlic noodles with filet mignon (9/10): you can taste the garlic in the noodles! the meat was cooked perfectly too.Their green sauce is more on the spicier side. Service was attentive and friendly! Always came right away when we had requests.

Their pho ga is seriously a winner – so delicious! The soup boasts a rich and savory flavor that feels surprisingly healthy. A neat twist is that they serve the chicken on the side, which I decided to pop into my soup to warm up. And let's not forget the fish sauce they hand over – perfect for some dipping action.I also tried their pork and shrimp spring roll, and I'd absolutely give that a thumbs up too. They also have a special “Rosemead” menu, which I didn’t have a chance to try.The dining room offers ample space, and the staff's kindness and attentiveness really stand out. You'll find Pho Dakao tucked inside The Square, and guess what? Parking won't be a headache – there's plenty of free parking available!
