If you love fresh fish...can't get fresher than scooping them right out of the tanks. The tanks are clean, aerated with running water, as humane as can be considering this is dinner....they also will clean your fish for you at no charge and cut it per your instructions. We left a tip in the tip jar. Reasonable prices.

Excellent place for local and exotic seafood. Rare and premium seafood for the area can be found here. I love this place!

Live or frozen seafood with good prices. Clean and well maintained without bad smell like some other seafood market.

Live seafood at a little higher price

This seafood supermarket is very clean and has good service attitude. I often buy seafood here and have never encountered a problem with smelly to bad seafood.

Every manner of seafood...live...in tanks with running water...healthy for the animals until they are chosen...clean, as humane as it could be short of veganism. Frogs are sold here too I don't eat fish but my mom does...she purchased a whole striped bass already on ice. A friendly helpful worker offered to clean the fish and he cut it per my moms specifications. I gave mom a couple of bucks to put into the tip jar. He really cut down on moms dinner prep time so when she got home, she steamed that fresh fish and was so happy. Also the guy placed ice into the bag so the fish got home still chilled. Clean facility, only a slight fishy smell...considering the volume of fish on the premises, it was a mild 2 on a scale of 10 on the stinkometer. Which speaks to the freshness of the fish.

Almost all the live fish are farmed raised , quite expensive. This is the only place to have good quality live fish, that’s why expensive.

Fresh seafood to cook at home. Clean place. Lots of options. Live lobsters, oysters, and more.Total newbie to this sorta place. Needed to grab a tray to get the seafood that we wanted, then have them weigh it out. Got a dozen oysters and a mackerel on ice, and grabbed a box of frozen surf clams. All tasted fresh and delicious. I'll be stopping by again when I'm in the area. I'll bring a better ice chest and more ice next time.

We have been here several times, but lately the seafood quality has gone down. The meat of the fish taste old and mushy, we bought snail meat for $18.00 and it never got soft. It was very hard after a long time cooking. The black shells meat we bought tasted really bad and it smells bad. Also the crabs they have in the tank does not have anything to eat inside. We also bought shrimp, and they were bad we got sick vomiting and stomach ache. Everything is very expensive, we spend $60.00 and everything went to the trash. So disappointing. And a lot of people go there I don’t know how it’s always full.

Fresh Seafood Galore!

They have the more popular type of seafood at above average prices. The place is well maintained so you will not see & smell really fishy odors due to staff frequently mop floor & clean the tanks that hold the seafood. When it comes to the most variety and an attitude to have customers (so far from personal experience) I must say it is the seafood department at Hoa Binh Supermarket in Rosemead (located at the corner of San Gabriel Blvd. & Garvey Avenue).
