I don't really write negative reviews, but the type of service and communication from this business is a dam joke! Today, we are celebrating my son's 7th birthday and he requested for a strawberry cake from Uncle Tetsu. The posted hours online is 9am, so we called earlier in the week to confirm the opening time. And yes whoever picked up the dam phone confirmed 9am. We had this whole day planned out based on the opening time given to us by this location. So my wife shows up at 9am to find out they are close and don't open until 10am! Alright...a bit upset, but it's for our son's birthday. We come back at 10am and are told the cakes will not be ready for another 25 mins! WTF! What's the point of opening at 10am if you got nothing to sell?!?! So we come back at 10:30am, the strawberry cake isn't available! We settled for the original and were just fed up dealing with this place. This place is lucky it's our son's birthday. Took us 3 trips to finally get a dam cake that wasn't even the flavor of our choice.

Their Japanese cheesecake is like biting into a piece of heaven - it's fluffy, light, and just the right amount of sweetness. PROMO ALERT: Until the end of Feb, tag them on social media, and you'll receive a free cheese tart! I chose the matcha flavor.

I came in kind of late maybe 30 minutes before they were gonna I didn't wanna be that customer! But I went in the girl in the front was super nice! The place smelled amazing and I asked the girl for her recommendations since it was first time and man she was spot on! The food was great!

The cheesecake is ssoooo good ! Tbh I received this as a gift . It was the burnt basque cheesecake and it was simply amazing . Not too much on the sweet side either , which made it really easy to eat . I'd definitely give this a try if you haven't .

I went to this location on a weekday night around 6 PM, and there wasn't any wait for the cheesecakes. I liked the convenience of this location compared to the one in Santa Anita mall, I was able to pull into the parking lot and be in and out in no time. I picked up one of the originals and one of the pandan coconut cheesecakes. Both were delicious, light and fluffy, and "not too sweet" (the best compliment from people that have more of an Eastern palate with it comes to sugar). The Pandan Coconut Cheesecake was a first for me and was a welcome new addition. The texture and flavors are all tasty! The store is clean, welcoming, and the service is on par. However, no seats inside if you wanted to enjoy the cheesecake in the store. Fun fact - Uncle Tetsu is part of "Panda Restaurant Group" which also operates Panda Express. They have a Panda Express right next door if you want to also pick up some take out on the way.

So glad that they are expanding and opening more locations. I've tried few of the flavors but still like original the best. I love the taste of soft fluffy cheese. Next time I must try their cheese tarts and hunt basque cakes. I love everything cheese. Cheesecakes $13 Cheese tarts $4.5 Burnt basque cakes $23

Love all the new variety of cheese pies, especially the Matcha ones! The Ube version didn't feel there's any Ube in the cheese pies but it sure is super purple in color! And the ambiance is casual and simple. However, the cashier seemed like to be in a rush and didn't have the cares in the world (sorry to say this) - he, basically, threw 2 of the cheese pies in a huge bag.

On a Saturday afternoon in early January, my sister and I were nearby and decided to look inside. Inside is spacious with glass counter of displayed desserts. They sell chocolate cheesecake besides plain or strawberry. Also they sell small versions along tea and coffee. The counter person was nice and offered samples. My sister purchased the strawberry flavor and It taste so light and not heavy. My mother mostly ate the whole cake. Luckily I was able to eat a small slice.
