My sister has been coming here for a while. The place is a locally good place to go for take out since it's inside a food court. It's been consistent with the food quality as my sister has ordered there several times and I've eaten the leftover (which are still delicious). I finally got to try them out at the food court and it was even better fresh. The beef chow fun is definitely HK style and comes close to meeting the taste of wok hay. portions are very generous and you get your money's worth here. I tried the Singapore style vermicelli. There was a decent amount of curry flavor. There was not a lot of shrimp but they were in there and for the price it was acceptable. Lastly I took home a Yang Chow fried rice. It wasn't greasy and rice was separated. It was alright but I will try some of their other offerings the next time, and yes there will be a next time.

The soup base lacked a little flavor otherwise was delicious. The bell pepper with beef noodles was incredibly flavored, and the perfect mix of textures.

We were tempted to try this place since everything on the menu is cheap (honestly who would turn down cheap and good food?) The problem we had was that the food was below average. I literally tasted the MSG in the rice noodle soup (I was so thirsty afterward) and that noodle tasted like the instant one, which is dry and chewy. The curry fish ball ($8) was terrible. The texture was off and calling that watery brown liquid “curry” should be illegal. I guess the beef udon was better considering the large pieces of beef they give you.We came on a weekday and only saw one cook. There was no line before or after we ordered but our takeout still took more than 30min. Even for the cheap price I don’t think it’s worth coming back.

This little hole in the wall food stand is located in the food court in the GW Market building. I've been here 3 times already, and everything that I've tried so far has been delicious. This cook is showing some pretty impressive cooking skills.Dishes that I've ordered, scrambled eggs with beef over rice; beef chow fun; Chinese sausage fried rice and deep fried garlic spare rib pieces. All great tasting and fairly large portions. The only negative thing's about this place is that the food comes out a little slow, and the dining area for the food court is a little dirty, but to combat these minor problems, place your order, then go do your grocery shopping at the GW, then pick up Togo and eat in your car or home. This place makes me want to go grocery shopping with my wife every week.

Located in a food court, this place was pretty good. I tried out the pork & preserved egg porridge and it was definitely one of the best porridges I've had. They throw in some sesame oil on top which really gives it a nice slight nutty flavor. Super hot and soothing for the soul. Also got the beef and wonton noodle soup and it was pretty good as well. The beef was tender and wontons filling were juicy. Pretty standard bowl of soup but delicious. The prices here are certainly reasonable and on the lower end but it is cash only.

The preserved egg and pork porridge was amazing! Love the flavor and the brisket beef wonton noodles was good, but could be better.

Background On Visit: When one shop is closed, the next shop is open. Wanted to go to Harlam Kitchen for their wonton noodle, but it was closed due to the observation of Lunar New Year. After scouring through different food options in the food court, I decided to get my wonton cravings satisfied here instead.Credit Cards: They're not accepted. Cash is king!Location/Parking: Located inside the GW SuperMarket Building in the food court. Parking can be found in the shared parking lot in the Square Plaza.Ambiance/Decor: No ambiance here. Order and go, but you can eat at the the metal furnishings that is provide by the food court if you want eat on location.Service: Service was decent. Food took a while to come out, but that's alright. Looked like they were short staffed.Food Of Choice:1) Brisket Wonton Noodle Soup: Loved everything about this noodle soup. Decent size wontons. Some veggies to devour. Beef brisket that was tender. Noods that were the right texture. Lastly, the soup base was flavorful.Xi Guan For Thought: I'll probably come back. I believe I found my new favorite place for wonton noodle soup.

Xi Guan Noodle House is one of the food stalls in the Square Shopping Plaza. The older people call this food court "Sik Gai" or food street/district in Cantonese. The food court itself is dying as the vendors there don't have anyone to take over the shop. Also due to changing food preferences, majority of the customers here are older Asian folk or people looking to grab a cheap bite. This plaza will disappear one day. Amongst all of the vendors in this plaza I believe Xi Guan Noodle House is the best one. Their menu is large and their prices are really low. Their food is average to amazing depending on what you get. Dishes here range from $8-$13 and mostly consist of noodle soups, fried noodles, fried rice and just dishes to eat with white rice. During my recent visit I realized they were severely understaffed causing some customers to leave and go elsewhere. This also resulted in long wait times and almost a non existent customer service. Come here for the cheap food, but don't expect much else. My go-to order is herbal tea with crispy chow mein, BBQ Pork Wonton noodle soup or the fried rice.TLDR: Best in the food court, cheap eats, possible long wait times due to short staff.

Not only take too long for my order of food. They didn't prepare the food as ordered. Destroy my appetite & my wasting my money. I ordered fish fillet congee not expecting any shrimp or squid that I'm allergic. Others are fine. Typical mainlanders character, bossy & showing no respect to others even they are their customers.

Damn near perfect wonton noodle soup. Six large wonton with big pieces of bouncy shrimp and smooth pork filling, big pieces of Chinese broccoli, and egg noodles not overcooked. Not too salty and not oily. Haven't tried their other items but I think they would be solid based on the wonton soup.

The cook was not wearing a mask as I watched him prepare give meals. I asked the cashier and she just waved me off like everything was normal.
