One of the best hot pots I’ve had. All the beef, lamb, and seafood are super good and worth the 0.99 per a skewer price.

We were regulars to the restaurant but not anymore. It was Lunar new year so the restaurant had discounted red packets for each table. We gladly used the discount when we checked out and left a 15% tip of the total amount (which was the discounted final amount.)Then the lady ( we believed she’s the owner or some sorts) gave us an attitude and asked us to change the tip amount as she thought it was too little. But honestly we gave the right amount of tip and she had no rights to force a higher tip, we only had 4 people at the table. And what’s the point of giving out discount if we customers have to make up of the discount by leaving more tips? She asked us if her service was unpleasant therefore the low tips, and now we can firmly answer well because of her horrible attitude we shouldn’t have left any tips at all. Never coming back again. So freaking rude.If you don’t want to give discounts to customers, nobody’s forcing you to. But doing business this way I just hope more hotpot’s coming to LA and Yuan’s go out of business.

There are actually goose intestines!A fair suggestion is to cook the goose intestines, brains, and black tripe for a while, otherwise it will be a bit fishy.Mama meatballs are full of death cilantro.

It's heart breaking that I have to leave this review because I've been here so many times. Their food and customer service has always been on point, and I always leave satisfied. Unfortunately the last time I went here I had a horrific experience. We paid with card, and tipped in cash. Everything was great until we left and got into our car. We were greeted by the waitress and the boss lady, and they asked us why didn't we tip. We informed them that we tipped in cash, and left it on the tray. The boss lady books it back into the restaurant, and left the waitress there to explain herself. Boss lady needs to learn to treat her workers with respect, and also be informed that tipping is optional not mandatory. The two star is for the waitress, but if it wasn't for her it'd be a one star.

Definitely my *fave* hotpot spot in LA right now! Their soup broth is so hearty and the meat is beyond fresh!!! High recommend the spicy, tomato and bone broth combo. As for the dishes love love love the fried pork, fresh pork meatballs, beef short rib and pork belly! Totally skip the beef balls and hand cut beef.

The quality of the food, service, ambiance and cost are comparable to Hi Di Lao in Arcadia albeit the space is roomier between the tables and each table shares a massive pot of soup (with up to 3 soup options chosen). The top has tiger handles - so fancy! My family wanted to try it out here for some of their more exotic hot pot items such as fresh goose intestines ($18/order as of Jan 2024). They have quite a few exotic items (various innards and proteins) and premium ones (Miyazaki A5 wagyu). They do not have paper menus so scanning a QR code allows you to view the menu: order.mealkeyway.com/cus…. You can order from your smartphone and the staff is happy to help. The only thing I wish they had was Chinese menu/letters for all of the options so people who can't read English can read the Chinese. The angus ribeye is fantastic at about $18/plate. The beef belly dipped in raw egg was also fantastic. I tried the tomato and mushroom broths, of which I really enjoyed the latter. The tomato broth was too thick for my taste -- almost like the viscosity of Campbell's tomato soap. I love that the veggies, mushrooms and root vegetables come in combos at $7.99/order so you can get a little bit of all the popular items without having to order each item a la carte. It costs $2.95/person to use their seasoning and side dish bars. The seasoning station is fully stocked with the usuals. The side dish bar had fantastic mini fried sesame balls with red bean paste filling, wood ear mushroom salad, seasoned mushroom salad and pickled chicken feet. The desserts weren't too palatable unfortunately -- strange textures included the slimy and cold white fungus soup, the bland cold jelly with brown sugar syrup and bland purple rice soup. After having a taste of each of those, I settled on a safe few slices of fresh oranges and honeydew melon. I'd absolutely come back here and highly recommend it to anyone looking for quality Chinese-style hot pot.

The food is good, the atmosphere is okay. However, ordering is a problem.First you have to use their app to order. I put in an order, then wanted to order more food. The app had a line that said "Order more food." Apparently when I ordered more food it duplicated the first order. All of a sudden I was getting the first order including the new orders. I also ended up with an order of rice I didn't make. When I told them I didn't order rice one of the waiters said he saw me order rice. The restaurant staff took off some of the duplicate items but not all. So we ended up paying for food we ordered twice.Until they fix their ordering app I won't be coming back to this restaurant. And I don't recommend it either.

Remember to try the taro shaved ice! The ordering is simple and it is on your phone. The noise can get loud at times so getting a private room is recommended.

Ate dinner here tonight with one guest. You must scan the QR code to see the menu. Ordered Lamb Shoulder and Beef Rib Eye with veggies. A nice vibe of young hipster types and small families. The place is clean and not too noisy. They charge a self service bar charge of $2.95/person!!Do: Order the Beef Rib Eye & Lamb Shoulder and the Mushrooms. Get the little sesame balls for dessert.
