The dish on the left is Garlic Butter Shrimp. Rice and beans were very bland tasting and overly soaked in butter, so much so that we didn't take any home. Shrimp was plentiful and tasty. The dish on the right is Shrimp Chimichanga (after I started cutting it ?) topped with Monterey Jack cheese. Inside was filled with plenty of shrimp and grilled onions and peppers. It tasted good, just to much cheese for me and I love cheese. Rice and beans were okay. I probably wouldn't eat here again. Staff was great.

I went today for the first time to Carmelita’s restaurant and I was very disappointed my mom and I ordered flautas but the flautas weren’t that good at all wasn’t crispy enough, way to much chicken not flavor were flower tortillas it’s supposed to be corn tortillas they were not good at

Tried something new today with the st. Paddy's day special of Serrano enchiladas and the trio plate with carnitas, asada, and bacon shrimp. No surprise that everything was delightful and Rosa was absolutely amazing as always.

Food was good and the atmosphere nice. Was a bit busy for a Saturday night . I have been going to this restaurant for over 10 years . Unfortunately I think I have to find another place. Their corkage was always reasonable at $10 for a bottle of wine but last night they charged $20 . Sorry but doubling the price puts this place out of my budget Hopefully management sees this post at does a reasonable increase . Thanks
