The food is alright and tasty! The service doing well but sometime when I get there and the chips were empty couldn't get any some. The ambiance I would say it's okay. They need to make sure chip is full no matter what and need more cleaning area table and floor.

My husband and I were looking for a good breakfast burrito spot and I found El Burrito Taqueria here on Yelp. We ordered here using Yelp; when we went to pick it up, they couldn't find the order but realized the ticket machine was offline or maybe they hadn't seen it. They were super friendly though and made the order really quick. While I was waiting they offered free chips and salsa. The whole place was really clean you could tell they take cleanliness seriously. The chips and salsa bar was well stocked and clean. There were a variety of salsa options which was great. (I recommend getting the jalapeño sour cream!) While I waited, I ordered a pineapple agua fresca. It was the perfect amount of fruit and sweetness. We ordered two breakfast burritos - one with chorizo and one ham. Both were good - hot, fresh ingredients, and great taste. I think the chorizo was the top choice out of the two. We'll be back to try their tacos!

This place has potential. Wanted to try another spot for mexican food besides the Taqueria on sunrise and greenback lane and another location near greenback and fair oaks. So our first impressions- nice set-up, clean, and staff were pleasant. So what did we order: 1) Plate of chile verde: tender pieces of pork, but was sweet and didn't have any spice or tang from the tomatillos. The rice wasn't oily and the refried beans had a pale look but decent flavor. 2) Giant Quesadilla: this quesadilla was huge but was wrapped like a burrito. It was also filled with guacamole, sour cream, lettuce, and salsa. strange, these condiments are generally on the side...right? So it looked like a burrito. But the carne asada was dry and cold. Even the cheese was not melted but just shredded pieces of cheese. I also believe the cold condiments contributed to the cold pieces of carne asada and unmelted cheese- perhaps if they had grilled the item longer (not sure if it were even grilled at all) it would have improved the dining experience - not what i had expected and just took it home after two bites. Would I return, perhaps.

The food is really good. The crunchy tacos are delicious. Service is good. You order at the counter and they bring the food to your table. The ambience is typical Mexican restaurant. Except one time eating at the restaurant a homeless stinky gilt ordered food went to the bathroom and came back. We moved tables to get away from the smell.

This is a spacious order-at-the-counter casual restaurant with tables and booths. They have a self serve chips and salsa bar with all the fixings. I ordered the enchilada plate and it was enormous and tasty. My husband enjoyed the taco plate which was also delicious. They have self serve coke products. They offer beer and wine if you're into that. The restaurant was clean and the staff friendly. This loses a star because it was on the expensive side. I still recommend the restaurant because the food was so good.

Let me start off by saying that I love Mexican food, and I eat it often. That being said, I kind of forgot how good Mexican food could be until tonight! You get a great feeling when the sign literally just says Taqueria. In addition, when the TV is on the Spanish only station, the music is in Spanish, the staff are all Mexican and have a thick accent. Moreover, the majority of the patrons were also Mexican.I ordered chili relleno burrito with grilled chicken, side of guacamole, and a house margarita for $27.The burrito was the tastiest burrito I think I’ve ever had. The guacamole was simple, but delicious. The house margarita was also the best I’ve had in a long time. You could tell that it was handmade with freshly squeezed juices by the way it looked and tasted. Not to mention, an awesome spread of a salsa bar. No room for dessert! This place is not fancy or pretentious. If you want to get down on some delicious Mexican food, this is the spot.Good value, great food!

Delicious food. Good for large groups. Fresh chips and salsa bar. Ice cream bars in a freezer. Churros and fresh and large flan. Any kind of Mexican dishes you crave, they have. Kids menu is affordable. Friendly service. We had a large group and they were accommodating for that. It was easy to order individually at the counter so as not to worry about splitting checks. I had chicken flautas with rice and beans plate. Very crispy and tasty with guacamole on top. Salsas were fresh and good. Others had menudo, carne asada fries, churros, flan, etc. Definitely will be back when in the area!

Taco salad was very good. Big portion compared to chipotle and better price. Would go back if I ever need to go back to the area.

The traditional Mexican food was delicious and served exactly how it’s supposed to taste. The salsa bar is always fresh and great drinks as well. One of my favorite places to visit.
