Just dropped in on a whim for a couple street tacos and taquitos. It is instantly my favorite place in this genre and I can’t wait to come back. Awesome - thank you!

WOW , just WOW. I'm impressed by the food here. Stopped by just to curve my hunger and ended up having a feast. I got the 4 tacos, buche, asada, shrimp and fish. Every single one was perfectly seasoned, the salsas paired so well with every bite.. this place is about 40 min away from me and I will definitely make this drive ?? if you're in the area drop by !

In some ways I hesitate to share with you how fantastic this place is. Why? I feel like I want this little gem all to myself. That if I share it, somehow it's going to get all used up, wear out...This place is unbelievably wonderful. The recipes used here are so obviously from "Grandma/Mom". The food is presented beautifully and by friendly staff who clearly CARE about the business and your experience. The food is flavorful, colorful, and fresh. The flavors are perfectly bold. Nothing overwhelming and nothing over seasoned.I've had the birria taco plate twice now. The flavor profile is just perfect. Not too salty, not over seasoned to "cover the bases", perfect seasoning. A hearty flavor that just works.I cannot recommend this place more highly to you. But please, help me preserve it. I want them to do well, I want the best for the owners of course, but I don't want to lose this perfect family intimacy I sense and taste. Share it with some, but not all your friends. Let's enjoy it but not spoil it!

I stopped by here for breakfast and went with the recommendation from the cashier. The plate of chilaquiles was great. Little bit of meat, 2 eggs, chips, beans, avocado, and a lot of cheese. They also give chips and salsa with the meal too.The interior is well decorated and the cashier/waitresses are friendly. Cooks are fast bringing out the food in only a few minutes.Restrooms are outside in the back by the parking lot.Parking: A couple spots in the back to park and then overflows to another lot if needed.

Came here after coming back from Tahoe. It was late, I was tired and I was starving. The Carne asada torta I had and the veggie quesadilla my partner got were the best food we had all weekend. Service was amazing, everyone was kind and it was the perfect culmination for the weekend.Would highly recommend Morenita if you're in the Roseville area, they're amazing

Delicious authentic Mexican food. The atmosphere reminds me of being in Baja. They have an internet juke box and a bar. Great place to order your comida y cerveza. Try the Camarones a la diabla.

Hello fellow food enthusiasts!I simply had to take a moment to share my absolute favorite spot for authentic Mexican cuisine right here in Sacramento. This place has become my go-to, and it's easy to see why:- **Authenticity**: Every bite transports me to the heart of Mexico—genuine flavors in every dish.- **Consistency**: Visit after visit, the quality never wavers. It's a culinary delight each time.- **Service**: The staff here are as fantastic as the food, making every dining experience exceptional. If you're craving Mexican fare that's both authentic and consistently satisfying, with service that adds to the experience, look no further. This restaurant has earned my loyalty, and I'm confident it will win yours too.Happy dining!

First time and will certainly come back! Quant and cute, friendly service, great food. It’s on the pricey side for sure($39 for two entrees and a horchata) so that’s the only thing that made it not 5 stars. But overall a must-try in the sea of Mexican joints in our area.
