Recently went for my birthday dinner. The restaurant manager, Matt Rose was phenomenal. Our server, Misty was great, and the rest of the staff was very welcoming. All the food ordered was amazing from the El Pastor tacos to the steak and shrimp. Everything delicious atmosphere amazing And desserts over the top delightful. Definitely recommend for special occasions and will be back soon. Thank you Matt and Misty for an amazing night.

I usually start my experience with the food but in this case i would like to begin with how amazing our server Misty and Manager Matt were. Their attentiveness enhanced our visit for sure!The food was deliciousWe did margaritas (no salt for me), queso fundido and guacamole to start following by one the most delicious chile rellenos ive had.La Popular has managed to capture Mexico City dining to the T. Im so thrilled to live so close to La Popular, we shall be back! ??Oh, and PLEASE ORDER the Tres Leches cake! Yummmmmmm!

Great came in with a large party last night. This place was very accommodating did separate checks for many of us in a single or double party. We celebrated several birthday's for month of March. I did have to ribeye tacos and my family had the white enchiladas.
This used to be 5 stars for me, after they changed the menu it's a 2 stars.- Chips and Salsas used to be free, now they charge you $5 which I'm OK with it, they are worth it, salsa are actually very good- No more hand made tortillas, tacos and enchiladas are made with some tiny store bought tortillas that taste horrible. Why would they do that, who's brilliant idea was that?- Enchiladas Blancas were my favorite and even if they changed the tortillas, as long as it's the same salsa right? But no, they changed the Salsa to some sour green creamy salsa that tastes horrible.- Mole enchilas do not taste the same either.- Quézo Fundido used to be better and had Chorizo included, not anymore!Aguas Frescas are not too Frescas anymore.This review goes for both Roseville and Las Vegas, not sure about other locations.I will not be back unless they return to the old menu and handmade tortillas.I understand they are trying to cut cost, but don't change the menu like that, raise the prices if you need to, but not the quality, people will pay more for quality.

The food pretty good. Nachos were great! The drinks are creative and beautiful. Staff is always friendly and the restaurant itself is always clean. The place has nice decor and a cool vibe. Outside patio has heaters and fireplace tables to sit at which is nice this time of year.

Thoroughly enjoyed our dinner experience at La Popular Roseville last night. Food and service were exceptional. What made the night amazing was the gentleman playing the guitar! My husband and I could listen to him all night. We hope he's there on our next visit and indefinitely! What a treat!
