Ok. Very friendly. But the food was just ok. Chicken chimichanga is pretty soggy, not crispy and had more refried beans inside than chicken.

Yum! The bar is fun, get a margarita and Molcajete ! So yummy. Everyone is nice and generally you won't have to wait to sit. Taco and fajita salad are also great. If you are a sports watcher there are plenty of TVs!

Updating my review. Didn't get great service the last few times we were here. Slow to bring drinks and chips, steak not as tender as before, they got our order wrong, got our drinks wrong. It wasn't that busy so I was surprised.Food and service was awesome! A little loud for me on a football night, but everything else was great. Chimichanga was crispy :)

We ordered a plain quesadilla for our daughter and the plate it came on was hot enough to melt the sun. My chicken fajitas were burning through the woods plank underneath. Will not be returning to this establishment.

The food and the service were horrible. The food had little to no flavor. My husband didn't feel well after the beef taco salad. There were only about 8 couples in the whole place and it still took a long time for anyone to approach us then to get us any type of drinks. I really wanted to like this place and was really disappointed

Yesterday, I was looking for a place that has Mexican food, and ran into Lola's, not knowing what this place was, a perhaps a bar. So I walk in, see that's its a restaurant and ask for a menu. The prices are reasonable, and notice it serves Mexican food. I was in luck.I order 2 cheese enchiladas with rice and beans, and thought the food was very good. I was surprised it was as good as it was. The atmosphere is pleasant and the wait staff provided above average service. Even the chip and salsa were good. If you like Mexican food, this is a place to visit.

Last night my friend and I wanted to try somewhere new. I have never had ceviche….but the mango ceviche looked great. I was not disappointed!! It was refreshing and exactly what I wanted for a hot day. I will definitely be back. Thanks to the bartender for the recommendation. I will be back!

Great service, the food is fantastic and there's a large party area in the back too. My favorite Mexican restaurant without a doubt. Sergio is the manager and super cool guy!

I do not recommend this place at all which is unfortunate as the food and drinks are excellent. The problem is the service is the absolute worst I have ever encountered. I was taken there for Father's Day. Our appetizer came, yet we were not given plates nor silverware. We had to ask 3x before plates and silverware were brought to the table. Same thing happened with drinks. Plates/empty cups were allowed to pile up. Staff walked by several times without anyone picking up the plates/cups. Server acted like she didnt want to be there or work. I had to remind her that my choice of rice and beans came with my entre. She then gave me attitude for reminding her. My wife and I will never go back unless the staff is replaced. Great food ruined by horrible service from the staff

The atmosphere and service was great, but I did not experience an authentic mexican food experience. As a suggestion, if you're craving an authentic mexican food experience, please visit Tres Hermanas conveniently located in downtown Sacramento or Davis, CA.I enjoy their chicken enchiladas (green sauce) with rice and beans, but their menu has something for everyone.Enjoy!

Came here with friends and didn't know what to expect - was pleasantly surprised! Things I liked the most: they have huge margaritas and one drink is really like two so be careful! Very tasty margaritas!I ordered the fajitas and the queso. Both were delicious! The price was reasonable especially for the size of the margaritas and the quality of the food. Friend ordered the arroz con pollo and she really liked her dish too. The service was also excellent, our waitress was very friendly and attentive.

This is a fun and friendly place with a great happy hour! So when fun, friendly, and HH boxes are all checked, I am in all the way!Lola's Tequila Bar and Cocina popped up on Yelp when I found myself in Roseville for an errand. (Yelp does its job so well.) It was literally across the street from my appointment in a small strip mall with a few other businesses. Parking was easy.We were warmly greeted by Abril! Always a nice touch, especially when it is your first visit. Happy Hour was on our minds, so she took us around a corner to the bar area where there were a few high-top tables. Love them high-top tables:)Sergio, "king" bartender (see photo), was there in a flash! Ok... let's get this party started! He was very engaging and fun, which really did get us in that party spirit. I was in the mood for a spicy margarita because I saw one on the menu when I first yelped them. And the jalapeño margarita hit the mark. Yum! It was not a HH drink, but that was ok with me. Moving on to food... the happy hour selections were great. The $6.99 chicken taquitos were fabulous. It's easily shareable. After devouring those, we again went to the regular menu for chicken fajitas. No rice extra beans, please. Which Sergio was happy to do. Thank you for that. By now, my jalapeño drink was history:) so I ordered the HH Margarita De La Casa at $5.99. I added my leftover jalapeños to the mix, and it was great. Score! The order of fajitas was huge and grilled perfectly with thinly sliced onions. Yum! Refried beans were good and loved it came with both flour and corn tortillas! So, all in all, we had a most satisfying meal at Lola's Tequila Bar.This restaurant definitely would be good for families as there is a nice dining area for them. For you sports fans and large groups, there is an outdoor enclosed patio with lots of flat screen tvs. It is a big area. And you already know about happy hour so what are you waiting for!I highly recommend this enjoyable traditional Mexican restaurant with all its beautiful artwork and murals.Salud!
