I'm always looking to try out mom and pop places and decided to give this spot a try. This place has been around for a while, and you can tell they have their regulars. The menu is a combo of American breakfast and lunch with a few Asian dishes. We were seated immediately, and I asked for a cup of coffee. I was expecting a delicious piping hot cup of black coffee but was served coffee I could see through. Once I actually looked at the menu, I saw they serve Yuban coffee. Yuban. I asked if this was black and if they had anything stronger, and the waitress said they brew it pretty weak and will try and get a better cup for me. The second cup was barely drinkable but definitely better than the first. I went with the Benedict and bowl of fruit and my bf the meat trio skillet. My bowl of fruit was a cut-up orange. Okkkkk. My bf skillet came out over fried rice. I was surprised and asked him if he ordered lunch instead. He said no and went back to the menu. They gave us the wrong plate and went to another table and grabbed his food. I was like, wait a minute, was that plate already placed at that table? The waitress said, "Don't worry, he didn't touch it. I'm sure that is some sort of health violation. The food was mediocre at best and won't be getting a second visit from us

My wife and I have been coming here for breakfast for several years. We love the quiet hometown atmosphere and quality home cooked meals. The staff are all wonderful people and obviously love what they do. We have brought many friends to Roseville Family Restaurant and they all are extremely pleased with the food, the staff, and that you don't have loud music blaring - so you can enjoy a conversation with everybody at the table. Please help support the mom-and-pop places to thrive, and stop in for breakfast or brunch some day. It will soon become a favorite.

If I could give this zero stars I would. Didn't start off well at all, we both ordered drinks like any other restaurant. I got water and the wife got lemonade, they both came out with no ice and luke warm at best with stuff floating in it,at that time I looked at the wife jokingly saying, this can't be good. The wife got biscuits and gravy that tasted sour, I ordered chicken fried steak that tasted like it was bought from walmart and stuck in the deep fryer. We took maybe a few bites and set it to the side. She came up and said, wasn't hungry huh? Nope! Not for that I wasn't. We still paid for our meal cuz at the end of the day people have to make a living, but I have to say something in closing. If you don't love what you do, Quit!!! or close your doors before you get someone sick. Cuz it clearly shows you don't care.
Pricey for some basic breakfast food that wasn't anything amazing. Service was great though.

The restaurant is adorable, very quaint non and pop atmosphere. I think it's better known for breakfast because the lunch items were basic. I had chicken stir fry and it was average at best. Service was great. The bathroom was kinda gross sticky floors and dirty. Overall

Patty that tastes like freezer and slathered in cheap bbq sauce to mask the taste. And salty French toast was odd. Not worth even 1/10th of the price. Do yourself a favor and skip this place.
I’ve never actually eaten at this restaurant it I order breakfast through DoorDash. The food is consistently good, the prices are really fair & they always include enough condiments when I ask. Thank you for your wonderful food!

Have come here for over 30 years, and every meal is just as good as the first ones I remember from being a kid. A true institution of Riverside avenue in Roseville, and a real Family Restaurant.
