All I can say is yum, yum, YUM!!! Favorite was pan fried juicy pork bun. Second favorite was spicy pork soup dumpling (pork xiao long bao). Third place is the steamed chicken dumpling, it was less flavorful than the others, but still delicious! We ordered two more rounds of the pan fried buns because 6 was just not enough when they are so delicious! My husband also LOVES the popcorn chicken. We ordered it non spicy for the kiddo and she enjoyed it. Spicy for us. Lightly breaded and full of flavor. It's so nice to have a dumpling place nearby! It has been almost 10 years since I had a good dumpling. So good that we returned later that week!! Small place, very cute, get there early because there tends to be a wait!

Great Service and food! We got the Spicy Pork Xiao Long Bao and the Stir Fry Green Beans! My recommendation would be to get there atleast 10 minutes before they open because it's small inside and it gets busy fast! Wait is anywhere between 30 minutes-1 hour if you don't get there as soon as they open! Will definitely be returning and trying more items. Staff is friendly and you can watch them make the soup dumplings! Their Logo is also really cute

Uncle Dumpling is absolutely amazing!! This was our second visit and it was as amazing this time as the first! For starters, the food is 100% pure deliciousness!!! You want to talk flavor? Let's talk. The Spicy Wontons come in a sauce that is well-balanced in sweetness, spiciness, and a tad of sour. We each have to order our own bowl, less there be conflict at the table. The Pan Fried Juicy Pork Buns have a slight crisp to them but still soft and full of juice. Dip it in the vinegar-soy sauce they bring to your table, and savor the flavor! Be careful not to burn your mouth, as the juice can be quite hot, since they serve these right out of the pan. Rounding out or dinner was the Truffle Angus Beef Fried Rice, which was out of this world delicious!! It tastes nothing like any fried rice we've ever had. Prepared perfectly, it contains just the right amount of truffle oil and chopped truffles, complementing the Angus beef cubes that are stirred into this beautiful dish! Like I said, amazing!! Last, but not least, the Fried Golden Buns with Condensed Milk were absolutely delightful! What a wonderful way to end our meal! And, let's not forget Michelle, our server, who is absolutely the epitome of top-notch service, professionalism, and friendliness. She has made both visits the best they could ever be, and for that we are so deeply grateful! Go see her and the rest of the Uncle Dumpling crew. You won't be disappointed!

Would loved to give it a higher score.. but bummer that uncle dumplings is a let down for me. The food was mediocre, service was ok, The waiter did not put any attention or checking with us. So tip, don't sit outside because we were kind of ignore and even forgotten. We were missing an order of XLB (not just us, but also another table outside near us) overheard that they already closed the kitchen (due that they close down at 3pm and reopen later) .... Food came very very slow, we finish a dish and kept waiting and until we heard that they closed down the kitchen and still missing the XLB. It was a disappointment that I didn't get to try their XLB but it's ok since their other food was just ok. The beef noodle soup was ok, the beef was tender, soup could be better (tasted diluted), chewy noodles. The string beans were good, a little saltier but acceptable. The fried buns were known also, not memorable. The restaurant is too small, tried to have an open kitchen where people can see them making the XLB but there are like 10 workers in that 150 sq ft . Needs to improve in their service, at least know what or how many orders you have; communicate with your kitchen. Don't close down your kitchen when customers haven't have their order fulfilled. Very disappointed that couldn't rate their most popular or known for XLB.

Uncle Dumpling is a welcome addition to the Roseville area. Their specialty is obviously the handmade dumplings so we ordered the xiao long bao soup dumplings which were very tasty. Soup was good but it needed the extra vinegar dipping sauce IMO. The dumpling wrapper was super thin though so unfortunately most of our dumplings broke on the way to our spoons/mouths and the soup spilled out into the basket. Did I I try to drink up the soup in the basket? Sure did but to no avail unfortunately! The menu was smaller than expected and I wish there were more dim sum options, like siu mai and har gow. The actual star of my meal surprisingly was the cucumber appetizer dish. The cucumber slices were super crunchy and covered in a vinegar and chili oil concoction that was so delicious. Chef's kiss! The truffle beef fried rice was also amazing and worth trying. The edible gold flakes on top made the dish seem bougie but the flavor was very nostalgic of a home cooked fried rice just elevated by the perfect amount and aroma of truffle. Loved it! This was a great place to bring my kiddos because they have some picky kid friendly items like fries and popcorn chicken. Overall a good dumpling spot with a cooler more hip vibe than your average Chinese restaurant.

I will start off with the positive, my husband enjoyed his dumplings. However, my scallion pancakes were oily and slightly burnt. This food is extremely overpriced, and the portions are snack sized.

Arrived at 2:30 and was told "take out only" they close at 3:00. Have no problem with this, but you REALLY need to list this information "last meal served" on you web site. Not being able to be served at 2:30 tells me they can't get the food out by 3:00.

Really good service and the dumplings were great. The flavor was very good. The garlic broccoli was good but not as garlicky as you would think. We are definitely going back to try other dumplings. We had the spicy pork soup dumplings and the pork and vegetables steamed dumplings. We also tried the summer lychee fruit tea and the strawberry cloud smoothie, and both were very good.

When they first opened it was incredible. The flavors were consistent and the items made fresh. The last few times, the taste and flavor of the same items varies and isn't always on point. The service rushes you into paying your bill and almost every visit we've ever made the server has to redo the bill because we are not done eating. We go in groups and there are only a few tables that can fit more than 4 people. Glad there is finally a dumpling place in Roseville but I hope they can get the consistency down and improve customer experience/service.
