Service was accommodating but insisted on pushing us to a table we didn't want eventhough we were already seated. However, the food was tasty. We will try this restaurant again.

My kids actually chose this place for my birthday dinner! I was a little skeptical because of the name of the restaurant and the fact that we were bringing our young grandkids. All I could envision was a crowded bar/pub type place that catered to the college crowd. Was I ever wrong! It wasn't too crowded, and we were able to get right in, no wait. Our large party was seated at a table plenty big enough to accommodate us comfortably. The menu was diverse enough so that it had something for everyone, including a kids menu. Our drinks were delivered promptly, and our food order followed shortly afterward. We ordered burgers, the Ribeye French Dip, Cali Chicken Sandwich, and other things, along with several appetizers. I highly recommend the Ribeye French Dip. Super flavorful and tender (even when I had to reheat the last half the next day). Service was over the top good, with friendly staff who made great suggestions. There was even live music that was actually entertaining.We've added University of Beer to our list of fun places to go. Don't be afraid of taking the kids!

The staff was super friendly and the chef.... He was amazing, the food was SOOOOO good!!! The best restaurant we have been to since visiting California this past 10 days. When we are back in town, we will definitely be back!The owners should consider launching a UOB in Oregon (PNW) ?

Hubby wants something new for his bd celebration. We chose UOB in the end. Food is good overall. The nachos is missing something, I don't know if it's because of beans or missing the regular cheese, it's different, saltier and greaser than I expected. The fries are good, the burger is quite different. Beers were great. We were satisfied when we left.

This place is amazing and so family friendly. I came in with my husband to watch the football game on a Sunday and couldn’t have had more fun! There was a group of kids at a table with their parents that got the whole restaurant cheering for the game and enjoying themselves. A wonderful place to hang out!

Super confused about Maureen’s review, but I’ve never received better service anywhere else other than here. They’re so fun for football Sundays and their food is really amazing. They have a lot of beer and drink selections. I look forward to coming back here. Collen provides amazing service. I don’t recommend coming here if you’re not trying to have fun!

Best place ever!! Best environment for me and my kids. UOB is open to families! They had so much fun and were cheering our 49ers on so loud!!! Thank you Colin, Bob, Kayla, and Palm for all that you do for us. We had a blast!!! Highly recommend this location!!!!

My daughter and I went to this location to enjoy a football game and a meal. I was aware that this place was a sports bar, but within 15 minutes of sitting down, over 15 young children entered the restaurant with their parents. They were at a table separate from their parents and were screaming at the top of their lungs. A few of the employees were egging the children on to scream for their team. We brought this to the attention of one of our waiters, Collen. He immediately became argumentative and defensive. All I asked was that the children not be egged on further, and was met with an unprofessional response. I thought this would be a good place to enjoy a meal and some drinks, but felt like I was at a playground instead. If you want to enjoy a restaurant with sports and professional service, I recommend BJ’s down the road.
