We are so disappointed with this shop. I've been searching for a decent French dip and finally found one that does the trick. Last Sunday, my husband surprised me with one on my cheat day! Long story short, the anju was put in the bag sideways and spilled in my husbands new car as well as making my sandwich so soggy it wasn't worth eating. I called the shop twice asking for a call back from the manager and never received a call back. Today I went in the shop and was told that the manager didn't want to speak with me. That she had looked at the "footage" and that it wasn't their fault. But never called me back to tell me this. All I asked was for my money back and they refused. I'm calling out the manager Ruby. You are a liar and a cheat. It's $17.79 that you need to refund me! $17.79! This is not how business is done. You should be ashamed of yourself and if you are the owner you should really decide if $17.79 is worth a bad review!

I went to get my order and the person making the food was coughing and hacking all over the orders . I took it but threw it out . Beware of this business as they don't care apparently. For this business you should be ashamed .They do not seem to be concerned with cleanliness

This place is a ripoff! I thought it was a sourdough and company. This is different you are charged extra for everything! Very disappointing. I will not come back.

The clam chowder was great. The bread was fresh and tasty. Service was good. My complaint it for $12.50, there should have been more than two slices of Pastrami in my sandwich.

6 or 7 peoples working behind the counter. Walked in, no greetings. Everyone is focused on online orders. We stood at the front counter waiting to order for a little over a minute or two, which doesn’t seem a lot in writing but when your just waiting there and people are making eye contact with you and not even acknowledging you it’s a decent amount of time. Walked out and went next door to Chipotle. Way too focused on online orders. There’s a million sandwich shops out here, so just not one I’ll stop at again.

Unfortunately I will never order from this location again! Hands down worst Ruben sandwich I have ever received from any of the sourdough companies, and my southwest chicken salad was garbage! Thought I was ordering from the one next to nugget. Great service and clean store but someone dropped the ball! Instead of sauerkraut I got coleslaw ??‍♂️ ?

Found a dark black hair in my food. Roast beef tasted like veal. Cookie was stale and inedible.

West Coast Sourdough is a small chain of about 30 restaurants, located mostly in Northern and Central California. Most locations are franchises, and the menu specilizes in sandwiches, made using freshly-baked San Francisco style sourdough bread. As you enter the restaurant, the first thing you notice is the large counter where the sandwiches and salads are made. Soups are made in the kitchen, where the fresh sourdough bread and cookies are baked. The sandwich menu is placed on the wall, behind the order station. All sandwiches are priced by size, which is really nice. Note a "BBQ Brisket" sandwich is priced the same as "Ham," - by the size - as brisket is normally twice the price as ham. The other board lists "Up Grade" for an extra price so you can make your sandwich into a meal if you choose. Talented sandwich chefs, Nancy and Yesi prepared my sandwich. Like all sandwich restaurants, trays of components are placed within easy reach for the chefs, as during busy hours, time is the essence. It's only 11:10 in the morning, but 45 minutes, as I was leaving, the line of hungry diners was nearly out the door, and people were sitting around waiting for their orders to be filled. From the "Soups" section of the menu, I went for a bread bowl of "New England Clam Chowder," which is perhaps my favorite soup. Today's "Soup of the Day" was "Cream of Potato," which was tempting, but I simply had to go with the clam chowder. I opted to enjoy my soup in a "Bread Bowl" as I can't get enough of the amazing sourdough bread served at this fine restaurant. As per my order of a "Bread Bowl," the soup arrived hollowed-out, bowl of freshly baked sourdough bread, hot out of the kitchen. As a nice side, the hollowed-out portion was on the side, which made for amazing dipping. Yes, it was clam chowder in the style of New England, and the chowder was simply delicious. The chowder began with a thick, creamy broth, just the right consistency. Like all clam chowder, it had clams, bacon, diced potatoes and seasoning. It was the perfect balance between the rich, white broth and the juicy clams and other ingredients. From the "Build Your Sandwich" section of the menu, I went for the "#17 BBQ Brisket" which is served hot. I love a delicious sandwich, so I went for the 8" size, so I could bring half of it home with me for dinner. Like all sandwiches on the menu, the sandwich began with a roll of freshly baked, San Francisco style sourdough bread, fresh and hot from the kitchen. I ordered all of the options from the "Fill It Up" section of the menu, as I love a full sandwich. Yesi, the talented chef who created my sandwich first cut the roll in half, length wise and applied "House Sauce" - which is essentially seasoned mayonnaise - to both sides of the roll. From the bottom of the sandwich, working up, she stacked sliced red onion, sliced shredded lettuce and the "star" of the show... a generous helping of barbecued beef brisket mixed with lots of barbecue sauce. The sandwich was topped with a slice of melted pepperjack cheese. One bite into this amazing sandwich was a WOW! moment! The freshly-baked sourdough roll was simply perfect, as it was baked with a light, golden brown crust with just the right amount of "crunch," while the inside was tender and moist. The veggies were fresh, flavorful and firm... not soggy like you'll find at lesser sandwich restaurants. This sandwich was simply delicious! The meat-to-bun radio was perfect, the cheese added flavor, and the mixture of fresh veggies balanced out the sandwich. Amazing! Some of the best sourdough bread I've ever eaten! Soup and sandwich were excellent, staff was friendly and service was great. Five stars!

My wife and I were pleased to see a new restaurant in our area, so we stopped in. The first thing I noticed was that there were no customers in the restaurant, The second thing I noticed was the pipped in music was way too loud. I couldn't even hear the girl taking my order. After ordering I went to get a table. Despite no one being in there, the tables were all dirty with noticeable crumbs and debris. I found the least dirty table and wiped it down myself. I noticed there were 4 employees working but none of them seemed to be doing anything. One girl came out and wiped down one table and then returned to the counter area. The rest of the tables remained dirty. I ordered a hot French Dip, and my wife ordered the potato soup and a 4" sandwich. I have to say, the sourdough bread was amazing. But man does not live by bread alone. The roast beef was about half of what I would get at Togo's. The sandwich tasted Okay but not real filling. They do offer extra meat at an additional charge. The beef seemed like processed pre-sliced meat; not fresh. Here's the thing. I probably won't eat here again. It wasn't awful but I have better choices in the area for the same deli type experience.

First time to order will be my last time. Got 3/4 orders wrong, Garlic pesto turkey just tasted like regular turkey because it didn't have the garlic pesto. The other two sandwiches were supposed to have mayo but had mustard instead. And to make things worse, the lettuce tasted like cockroach (bleh...).

This is our favorite sandwich spot! The sourdough bread is out of this world. They don't overstuff their sandwiches with toppings which I appreciate. Makes it easier to eat, and let's be real the bread is the star of the show. Super easy online ordering with Apple Pay. Quick and friendly staff.

These guys know what they're doing! My sister and I came in on a Saturday afternoon and were welcomed right away. We've been here many times before and their service is always great. We ordered our food and the gentleman taking our order was very patient. I can be picky about my food and he allowed me modify without feeling rushed. He may have been the owner, not sure but he was very kind. The restaurant itself was nice and clean- good music . We'll be back (: We ordered: Grilled Chicken Pesto 9/10 Veggie 9/10
