Called in at 9:30 and was told last call was at 10:30. Drove 43 minutes to get here at 10:13 and was then told that stoves broke and last call was 13 minutes earlier when the stove broke exactly at 10. You guys suck. I used to come here all the time bur moved and have been trying to make time to come for a while and finally did. All your prices are way higher now then not long ago, i wouldnt recomend anyone go here. Used to tell everyone to go here, service has always sucked but made up for it in food, now nothing.

The Carbonara kimchi is a must try!The honey butter wings were extra crispy and had too much breading. The shrimp tacos were tasty but a a bit rubbery (overcooked).I could tell that this place is popular. The artwork on the walls is hands down remarkable! I understand that as the night progresses the vibe is pretty much club like. Peach Soju was sweet. The service was pretty good and since we were here before the crowds it didn't take too long.

Food: great. We got the following: Lychee soju cocktail glass $8Melon bar soju cocktail glass $8.50 Da best: kimchi pasta ever $18.99 (if you enjoy creamy pasta then this is the pasta for you) came with shrimp and bacon and lots of onions and chopped kimchiYou dropped da bomb on me $21.99 (version of pan roast - it was okay, different twist to it than the normal pan roast) Service: great. Fast. Efficient. Ambiance: chill, lots of tv all around, noise level is medium

They make the best snacks for a late night craving! I placed a few items for pick up last time. Their staff was excellent with taking phone orders. They communicated well and prepared my items on time! I finally tried their kimchi pasta, wings, and fries! Everything was packed well. No leaks! The kimchi pasta was creamy, spicy, and had a generous amount of umami sauce! I liked how it came with bread for dipping. The protein (bacon and shrimp) in the sauce were delicious!! I picked up some wings and fries as well. Portions are so good, the size of the wings are big! They were all well coated, seasoned, crisp, and tender. The fries were alright but I'm sure they're better when dining in. It was nice to finally try their food! It did not disappoint.

Fried chicken not that good. I can stop after 3 and not care enough to eat more lol the sauces weren't that flavorful, ketchup was better They have a deal for $35 that includes a pitcher of house beer /soju, 15 wings and fries. Fries were like a lesser mcd.Kimchi pasta was bomb tho! Plenty of slightly tangy crunchy kimchi and bacon bits to somewhat offset any heaviness from the cream. We came at 6 on a weekday and it was pretty dead inside. 1/6 tables filled. The art they have on the wall is like a provocative/sexy Disney/cartoon fan art lol it's better than the fried chickenServiceVery pleasant ! One of the servers was very personable and quick to fetch whatever we needed.

I live in SD but my parents house is at the Rowland Heights area and every time I go back home I always craze Cafe Gunul 2 and get the same food all the time.I always get the Da Best Kimchi Pasta because of the flavor and how creamy the sauce it that it blended well with everything. This dish can be shared with 2 people or if you have a big appetite that day, this will fill you up! The ingredients goes well with one another that it is not too overwhelming and overpowering. At this meal, I had the garlic truffle fries and it was pretty good but because of how big the pasta is, I was not as interested in the fries. The service is pretty good! It was never busy whenever I go so the waiter are pretty attentive and there is a call button when you need something. Recommend to try when you are in the area

HAPPY HOUR- 4 to 7 pm on weekdays!! Went here with some colleagues, and it was an enjoyable happy hour, great large portions, shareable meal alongside a free pitcher of beer or soju. The military stew, nachos, and wings were particularly impressive. The military stew was rich and flavorful, packed with a variety of ingredients that created a delightful fusion of flavors. The nachos were loaded with toppings and had the perfect balance of cheese, salsa, and meat. The wings were crispy, well-seasoned, and paired wonderfully with the complimentary drinks. (soy wings only, don't get the BBQ wings)While the highlights of the happy hour combo were fantastic, there were a couple of dishes that didn't quite meet expectations. The burger lacked flavor and was a bit dry, which was disappointing. Additionally, the tteokbokki didn't live up to its potential, as it lacked the desired spice, depth of flavor and was too sweet (would not recommend)However, despite these minor setbacks, the overall experience at Cafe Gunul 2 was exceptional. The restaurant had a clean and comfortable ambiance, providing a relaxing atmosphere to enjoy the happy hour.P.S. Definitely recommend for larger groups for happy hour (just order before 7) as the portion sizes are fairly big, cant go wrong with any happy hour combo

Felt good coming in but towards the end of eating their kimchi fries with beef i started to get a painful stomach ache to the point of having to rub and hold my stomach continously in attempt to lessen the pain. The staff saw this but didnt bother to ask if it was because of their mediocre food or offer any assitance. Their toppoki with noodles was also bland and uninspiring on top of all that. Neglectful service and Horrible Sick-inducing food

First time here and we are definitely coming back soon.Food and drinks in a lively atmosphere makes for a great date night or a hangout with friends. The lynchee soju cocktail was refreshing with a hint of sweetness. I had there Kona big wave draft but there's a variety to select from.We tried the bogogi Nachos and they did not disappoint. A delicious fusion of Mexican and Korean flavors in every bite. The red peppers had a hint of sweetness not overpowering. The soft shell crab steamy buns had a kimchi type slaw. Crab was fried perfectly and batter was a light coat, letting the crab shine. Marco, one of the servers suggested a chipotle aioli and eel sauce. Sauces took the dish to another level. Marco along with the other staff were attentive and welcoming. Love to button feature at every table to call for server, feeling attended to throughout the dining experience. As said before, we cannot wait to try their other dishes and drinks!

My family ate here for a super late dinner (at approximately 9:45pm) to celebrate my cousin's birthday. The ambiance reminds me of a sports bar with dimmed lights but with plenty of tables for dining. Btw, there's a Jennie standee endorsing SoonHari Soju. We ordered approximately 9 items and it took approximately 15 minutes for the orders to be served on our table. Service was okay because the staff will only attend to you if and when you press the call button. They provide a stack of styrofoam plates, plastic silverware, plastic cups, napkins and a pitcher of water. Be sure to ask for enough utensils, not only for yourself but in case you do "family style" with your orders. Also, be sure to use your smartphone to scan the qr code on your table that directs you to their menu. The chicken boorgogi was similar to what I would make. It has boneless chicken thighs with the perfect umami flavor of bulgogi sauce. It is perfectly paired with onions and green onions. The Spaghetti with Clams was unexpectedly spicy because it had chili flakes. Similar to the Manila clams soup, it was quite spicy because it had sliced jalapeños or green chili peppers. It would have been more helpful if the menu had a short list or description of the ingredients. I also wish diners would have the opportunity to modify the spice levels of their menu items. I was pretty satisfied with the boorgogi fries because the tenderness of the beef slices matched well with the bulgogi sauce and garnish. Be sure to consume it immediately because the fried does get soggy when your consumption is prolonged. The UFO Fried Rice was served on a sizzling plate with eggs. It was satisfying because the rice was not too mushy and was still presentable. Due to my food sensitivities with spicy food, I could not try the Sinful Ramen or the Spicy Pork with steamed buns. However, the rest of family liked it. Last but never the least, I am truly impressed with the Dis and Dat Fried Chicken. The chicken was hella crunchy and pipping hot because it came fresh from their fryer. Obviously, I couldn't try the gojuchang sauce, but I did not regret dipping my chicken on the soy garlic sauce. It is truly among the best Korean fried chicken I've ever tried because of its tenderness, crispy texture and the flavorful soy garlic sauce. I'll definitely order this when I come back.

Nice small Korean restaurant. Unique fusion dishes available. Had Korean kimichi pasta which was very good. Tate's better than most fusion restaurants. Price is on the higher side but relatively fair

This place has some really great Korean barbeque meats and a nice selection of entrees. I was out with my lady. We'll be back in the future.

One of my regular spots for beer, soju, and delicious fusion food! The artwork hung all around the interior of the big, open restaurant makes the vibe more enjoyable. My only recommendation to the restaurant is: perhaps instead of putting the "Squigglies" in a large, deep glass cup, they should put it on a plate so we are able to have the cabbage below along with the fried squid. It was a pain to reach without making a mess.
