When we open the box about 30 mins later in a restaurant next to the bakery, we just noticed that one of the strawberries on the top of the cake has very obvious mold on it. We took it out. When Grandma tried to cut the cake , there is a very hard layer inside the cake which the knife can't go through. We can't tell what it is. We don't even dare to eat that part. This has been the worst birthday cake experience we ever had.

My mom is diabetic and the only cake place that doesn't raise her sugar level is diamond bakery. If anything this place has amazingly delicious cakes. They are never to dry, or over saturated with heavy frosting. The frosting is light, the cake is perfectly moist and has the freshest fruit both inside and out of the cake.

I've been coming here for over 7 years, and before that I use to go to the Artesia location since it was closer. Cakes are usually good, filled with fresh fruit and fluffy cake. This review is mainly for the response to a Mother's Day cake picked up from this location. We picked up a Taro cake, $42+, and brought it for our dinner party that evening. Fruit on top was fresh, and the cake part was just as yummy as usual. But then once we tasted the Taro, it tasted sour. The taro was spoiled (1st time this has happened in all the years I've ordered from here.). Since it was after their closing hours, decided to give them a call and explain the situation. We did not eat the rest of the cake as a few people that did eat the cake felt cautious to eat the rest of it. We called the next day, on Mother's Day regarding this issue, and the lady said "okay, I'll let the baker know." There was no option for a partial refund or a replacement cake or any type of humility that they sold a spoiled cake. This particular incident plus the fact that a previous birthday cake had frosting damaged when it was being packed into the box by the staff, but also nothing was done about that, was why I wrote this review. Since we needed the cake for a huge party that day, we were stuck with this cake or no cake at all. 1) be mindful that if you get a cake that is spoiled, staff may not help with the situation. Buyers beware. 2) if they damage the design of your cake, they may not offer you any type of option to fix it or credit. So understand you will have to accept it or not accept it. Both times, no sorry, no urgency to rectify the issue. I hope this review will be a training moment for the bakery to understand this could have been handled better.

If you need custom cakes or desserts. This is the place to go! I showed them pictures of what i want for my daughter's birthday and they did really good! Even better from my expectations! The cakes and cake pops tasted so good! Pricing are reasonable too!

If you feel like being ignored and rushed, this is the place to go. My fiance and I went to check out the wedding cakes. I had scheduled an appointment and when we walked in they were clueless. They asked my name and tried to give me someone else's order. I then showed them my confirmation and she ran to the phone. She then came back and put to books on the table and said any questions just ask and quickly walked away to count money. I looked at my fiance in utter disbelief closed the books, thanked them and walked out.

They came in clutch on Christmas Eve when I really needed a fruit tart for that day. I called and they were able to reserve a fruit tart for me, and I picked it up within 15 mins. They have 7 inch and 9 inch and the fruit tart was really pretty and tasty.

My family and I have been coming to this bakery for Years! They have literally the best fruit tart cakes. My review overall is for my wedding cake. I know I love their cakes already so I took a chance and made them my choice. I was able to squeeze in my cake last minute a few days before my wedding ( small backyard wedding about 20 ppl). Keep in mind the photos I post was my actual cake that I personally decorated. They did not add decorations at all it was a plain white cake with only texture added!!! I only gave them an example photo I found online of the cake with the texture. They nailed it!!! It was literally spot on how I showed them in the photo!!! Again WE PERSONALLY DECORATED OUR OWN CAKE WITH FRESH FLOWERS AND OTHER DECORATIONS. I had my cake filled with Bavarian chocolate and fresh strawberries and bananas. I LOVED IT! Thank you Diamond Bakery for making my cake and making my wedding day so special

They charge 50cents just to use credit card if under $10. And then they make you sign the receipt with a pen. I don't want to touch anything unnecessarily. Ugh, Get with the covid times. pastries are ok. Go to 85 bakery instead
Warning! Avoid this place if you are buying a cake. Bought a cake and it's the worst ever. The fruit inside the cake was rotten. Absolutely the worst cake I have ever bought.

I haven't been here to buy bakery in years. I think the egg tarts here looked old. Been sitting around for a few days at least. I made egg tarts before, so I know what it looks like fresh. Bought some buns that tasted OK but I think its over priced. I think I'll get something when I am in the neighborhood and craving some bakery. Otherwise... I rather make it myself or just not eat it at all.
