the food and service was great ?

The food is not fresh especially the beef/lamb meat. When I went there, there was no one. This is my first time to try, but I guess I would not go back for these concerns:1. Food is not fresh: the lamb/beef meat is dark purple 2. Soup base is salty: they used sauce to make the soup, so that's why I saw some reviews for the salty soup. They add bean sprout (which I hate), green onion and sauce to make the soup. Not good. 3. Price: they charge extra for soup base that is not good. 4. Lack of service: I ordered to go, but obviously there is no service. The guy there seems doesn't know everything. 5. Can't take sauce to go...no box for the hot pot sauce.. Well, I would not go back. There are other good places in Rowland Heights.

This is the restaurant providing the worst service I ever been. From the second I walked in to I walked out, the server didn't give me a smile or say a single greeting word. I don't know what happened to you life or what made you unhappy, but this is your job and please show some good attitude. While we were eating, the only server, which is a girl is busy "throwing" stuffs and making so much annoying noise. The food is okay but I don't think I will come back due to this bad experience.

Me and my colleagues love this place for our lunch, my colleagues are Americans so they are not so exposed to food like this where you pick your meat and veggie and whatever add ons you may want and they can cook it for you either dry pot or with soup. We love the soup base and i think fair pricing!

This is the second time to be here, last experience the food was too salty and I only test salt nothing else. So I give it second chance. However, still Bad service attitude, when I order my dish the waitress keep rolling her eyes and without patients. The food still salty, nothing changed.

Came by with a co worker during lunch and they have like a make your own hotpot style soup. It was very spicy. They have cute decor and it was pretty unique. I've never been to a spot like this one before. You get to choose your own protein and veggies and they have a variety of exotic foods. They also have dried noodle here but I didn't get to try that. Their portions are pretty generous and overall, I had a pretty good experience. I would come back I ever had the opportunity.

The service here is horrible! I don't care whether you have bad day or week or month, you should give your customers basic greetings. The lady and the young man work here do not know how to say "Thank you" or goodbye. This is the worst dining experience I have never had before. I will never go there again.

Cute place! Stuff animals everywhere :) Meat- lots to choose from, they weigh by the lb. lots of veggies- by basket. Delicious!

Full disclosure: my party and I did not end up eating here. We seated ourselves next in the elevated seats with all the plushies. We had a few questions about the soup and how everything worked but the waitress answered with the same temperament of a baby with a full diaper. After a bit of deliberation on our part on what to order, she came back to tell us that a third of the menu was not available (the stone pots) and immediately left to the back room. She didn't ask if we had any questions despite just eliminating half of our orders. We then left knowing exactly why it was empty at dinner time.

Very tasty, delicious dry pot and hot pot! Price is very reasonable and you get to choose what to put in your food. Service is good. Highly recommended

this place has potential. i like the setting. there are many places can be improved. first come to my mind is the design of the menu, and some translation from Chinese to English isn't that accurate. i almost feel like i want to have a discussion with the owner. since it impressed me at the first place and i found many things can be improved just by looking around. a nice and cute place after all

Great way to get your dry pot and steamed soup pot fix in one place. The owner is very friendly and the staff work as quick as they can to service customers. The food is delicious and the staff can split your order by bowls if you have a large party to ensure easy sharing. My only recommendation is that the seats and bar table near the window be changed. The beat seat stools lean forward and wobble if you move. Pretty dangerous. I actually slipped when my seat leaned forward and almost spilled all the food on the table. The bar table is also a bit too narrow. Overall the place could use more seating.

Considering its Asian the place is quite clean. Maybe cause they just opened. I have been craving dry pot for some time and decided to try this place since its pretty much down the street from my best friend's house. When we walked in, the lady told us to sit at table 5. In my head I was thinking, wtf, i dont know how your tables are numbered let alone im not wearing glasses so I cant see. Anyways we sit down and the lady spoke utterly fast in a soft tone explaining the menu. With both hot pot and dry pot you are able to choose your own protein as well as veggie/noodle choices. Protein costs $10.49/lb & idk how much veggies are. They are charged at either per item or like a combo. I got best friend the little spicy dry pot and I got medium. The lady said their base isnt numby but shes a complete liar! Little spicy is nothing, medium spicy isnt spicy, however, pretty numby. I hate when my food numbs my mouth. It does not feel good. We both thought it was whatever. We both prefer our other joint much better. We probably wouldnt come back here. Also, walking in, it smelled like sewer in there.
