Honestly, food is good, but service is horrible,I think one guy is having some racist,We are setting in the back room, with other 2parties, ever time he comes in never ask us, and our water is empty for a while, and he trim off the pot wby himself with out saying anything, also we have order the pancake but I think he forgets we got it when we almost finish our dinner , and each time he finished serve other table, he never look at us, and on he’s face I can see he think we are annoying. We still leave $20 tip just for the food not for this guy at all,

Very delicious and good portions! You NEED to come here for their lunch specials. Incredible!! We arrived at 12:30 PM on a Friday and there was no wait. It's a little hidden away between the golf driving range and Greenland. They are known for their gamja tang and bossam, but I ordered the Grilled Mackerel and Doenjang-jjigae. Both were great quality and $16 for lunch. The mackerel was perfectly cooked! If you like oily and salty fish, this is a good option to try. The portions were big and very filling! I highly recommend.

First time came in was great, everything was perfect. However, the second time I came in, the waitress were very inpatient and careless. What makes such difference? After discussing with my husband who’s been visiting here for more than 6 years about our experiences and observations, we came to a conclusion: Korean men (or appear like a Korean descent) deserved highest level of service; Non-Korean men deserved 2nd level of service. Non-Korean and non-men(or women in general) deserved the worst service. So I don’t suggest girls to come in a group because you won’t feel welcomed. I don’t blame the waitress cuz it might be a culture issue not their personal fault. I just felt uncomfortable because we are paying the same amount of money but not receiving same quality of service. The food itself was great. But I want to enjoy the food without having to be accompanied by a male. (Conclusion is subjective to my own observation, if anyone have different opinions that’s fine but I don’t like to argue)

Staff can speak Chinese and Korean. They help cook your food. Not bad and good price. Busy when I went so it was a bit loud. Tends to be a place where people go and family with kids.

This place is a hidden gem. They offer cold noodles for summer time and it's so good! Their bibimbap is also delicious and big portion. The side dishes are yummy and staff is nice. Recommend for lunch or even dinner if you want to try their bbq too!

FYI, this is a Korean owned business with a very traditional old school type of service and feel, and it is not really catered towards our super western and gentrified friends who expect service to be highly revolved around them. Workers are very old school Korean-Americans and are not really up to speed to some who are more used to a culture of excellent service. Not to say there aren't negative things about it, but it's also like a complicated cultural thing that just can't be helped. It's more for like many old school immigrants like my mom who love this place. I know very westernized foodies like to try this place and all but they should manage their expectations for everything else other than the food. I know there are things to be critical about, but goodness just let a local small business make a living. But in any case, yes just get the gamjatang, good for 2-3 people maybe 4 because it is super good. This is the only reason you should come here for. Plus they can also make fried rice out of it after you finish up most of it and it is so good!Good place to go just purely for the food!Plenty of parking since it's next to a Greenland market!

The prices aren't as high as Korean restaurants nearby but the food was soo good. It was also a pretty hefty quantity. My friend and I shared the bibimbap and gamja tang and we had so many leftovers to bring home. The seating was really nice and spacious and the lighting also made everything so appetizing. The side dishes were really yummy. The staff was nice and they checked up on us often. The food also came at a reasonable time. I'm giving this place 5 stars mostly because of the quality of food for the great price.

Place has gone downhill.. you place a phone order, they tell you 15 mins and then we showed up 30 mins later and waited 20 mins for our food. They don't get anything ready until you come in and pay. The chubby Korean lady at the register was extremely rude and then when I started speaking Korean to her, she said "I thought you were Chinese". Don't be racist like that

I'm been to this restaurant many times before but recently with couple of church members. The store hours are 11am -9pm all week. We arrived little after 3pm and it was open for business but strangely, menu order was just limited to ;just ONE item : Gamjatang Only !!! None what so ever for an hour between 3-4pm. Because chef is on break for an hour. So we had to wait nearly an hour to order other dishes.Meanwhile eating Gamjatang which was exceptionally delicious. Best Gamjatang ever, meat was tender lots of veggie and very flavorful. By the time we waited an hour eating one dish, finally got to order other dishes but we were kind of getting full and little dredged.Other then that, service was great food was delicious.

This restaurant may be difficult to find at first as it's located in the back of the plaza, next the doctor's office. Gamjatang is a korean soup made with pork neck bones, vegetables, and potatoes. We ordered the medium size which was $50 and it was plenty for 2 people. The meat was tender and easily pulled off of the bone. I loved the green onions & the potatoes were the perfect vehicle to absorb the soup's flavors. Although this dish was good, the service was subpar. The servers would seem to ignore us when we tried to get their attention. The restaurant is also VERY quiet as there's no music. I'd still eat here, despite the other factors!
