My girlfriend and I eat here every weekend. Two dishes are more than enough food for two people. The flavors are delicious and the prices are super reasonable particularly if you go for their lunch special! Highly recommend!

I dined at Golden China Restaurant today and I was blown away with their amazing quality of food. All of the dishes were delicious and bursting with flavor. Their menu was diverse with so many options to choose from! Each dish I ordered was exceptional and well showcased the chef's detailed culinary craft. It's a great place to have a memorable meal with friends and family with the ambiance of the restaurant being clean and inviting. I highly recommend this restaurant for anyone seeking great taste and fast service! Will definitely come back again.

Knife cut noodles are my favorite! Finally: I have found the restaurant who serves the best knife cut noodles! We ordered: Peking BBQ pork, sour cabbage knife cut noodles, green onion pan cake, spicy stir fried bean cured & fried tofu! Love the dishes, noodles: authentic & delicious! Will definitely come back again!

Golden China is my go-to spot for Chinese comfort food. They're the first restaurant on the right once you enter from the side of the 99 ranch plaza in Rowland Heights. I mainly come here for the crab & the spicy chicken, but everything else is just as filling & delicious :) the owners are super friendly, which I think is vital in running a business. I see the way they interact with their customers and welcome them in like they're family. I notice a lot of regulars as I've become a regular myself. Their prices can't be beat and their portion sizes are generous. Their service is great! They're very attentive and consistent with making sure each dish comes out the way that it should. I've been coming every Sunday for the past month and order something different each time as they have a wide selection to choose from. I look forward to my Sundays now knowing that I'd be dining here for lunch. Tina(the owner) will take great care of you. She's always energetic and friendly, which I admire. I definitely recommend this place to both my friends and family. 10/10!!

This is a lovely hole-in-the-wall type restaurant with authentic northern-style Chinese cuisine. The restaurant is family-owned for over 10 years. My favorites here are the knife-cut noodles, the eggplant dishes, and the salt & pepper shrimp. They also sell frozen dumplings to-go that are large, juicy, and tasty. Tina, the owner (her husband is the head chef) always provides great customer service and is always friendly.

Think they have a different owner from a few years ago. It's now Chinese style food. Service and food preparation is super slow even with only one table to serve. Saw another customer unhappily waiting for the bill as well. Taste is alright to good. Hand sanitizers they have are sticky. Bathroom has hand sanitizers instead of soap. And there's no paper towel so you have to touch the likely dirty door knob on your way out. The "man tou" aka buns they have on the table turned out to have mold on it. Servers' demeanor- there's nice and then there's this sort of subtle insolence. This is the first restaurant in the interior of the plaza. It's closest to the door. Would not recommend.

It's really a bad review. I ordered a spicy chicken. I have never eaten such an unpalatable spicy chicken. The funniest thing is that I ordered a pickled cabbage fish, but I got a crucian carp-like tofu soup with some sauerkraut, which is called pickled cabbage fish. In the end, I miscalculated the money at the checkout, and I didn't care about it, so I turned around and left, but the waiter still wanted a tip. What a restaurant

Great variety of lunch special Chinese food until 6 PM. Very inexpensive. Food is delicious. A bowl of rice comes with each dish. Here is a great place if you're hungry.

TL;DR Would recommend this place if you are looking for a Chinese restaurant with delicious options and your party has people with various dietary choices. This place is AWESOME. Due note that I'm writing from a position that whenever I go out to eat, I have to keep in mind the vegetarian, vegan, and meat options. They said they can provide MORE vegetarian/vegan options if you call ahead and let them know. I haven't done this and each time I went in, they've been able to make at least 4-5 vegan dishes. So good, I always have to take leftovers home. They might not promote themselves as a vegan/vegetarian restaurant but the head chef used to work for a vegetarian restaurant for almost a decade so he has tons of experience.

Great mom and pop restaurant! Owner is really friendly and the knife cut noodles beats all the ones from the trendy popular chains I've had!

Now that Supreme Dragon and J & J shut down, this is the best (or least bad) place for xlb and Shanghai chow nin go in SoCal (eff Din Tai Fung, they're not even Shanghainese). The ladies are super nice but maybe just to me as I've been coming here for years. They're closed insanely early though.
