We enjoy going out. Last night we came to this fine restaurant which friends told us about. We spent a lovely evening there with fine food and a well-trained stuff and a great chief cook. We added this fine restaurant in our list and we will surely return soon. We warmly recommend.

Already closed... As of 2019 09 13. Had a few good dishes. Parking isn't ideal in this plaza but is free. They had many restrictions with credit cards... Doesn't matter now. If you really like their cooking , go to the Chef's on Colima and Fairway. That was the original store anyway.

Cheating! We ordered a steamed fish and showed it to the waitress it printed $15.95 on menu. The bill demanded it for $17.95. That is cheating. The Chinese waitress speaks broken English and was EXTREMELY rude and hostile demanding $17.95 when the menu printed $15.95. She never refilled water, but put a big jug of water on table so she did not want to come back but asked 20% tips on the bill. What a ripped off. Stay away from this cheater!

Probably one of the best Taiwanese food joints on the east side of 626. Highlights - mala spicy stinky tofu 麻辣臭豆腐, sesame oil pork liver with noodles 麻油腰花麵線, three cups everything 三杯雜燴. Although for some reason the quality has gone a bit downhill from last year... hence the 1 star off.

This place has essentially become our go-to place Taiwanese restaurant when my in-laws want to eat Taiwanese food. We always get the spicy intestines (P7) which is wu jing chang wang (五更腸旺), a heavily sauced dish with pork intestines, pork blood, soft tofu and pickled vegetables. While the description sounds a bit on the horrific side, the sauce is complex: savory with a tinge of sourness from the pickled vegetables and spicy with some Szechuan influence. It goes quite well with white rice. Another favorite is the stir fried pork with bean curd (xiang gang rou si) which is savory and sweet. We've also tried several of their fried rice options which are great. Another favorite is the shrimp lettuce wrap, which I've not had before. After knowing of the shrimp lettuce wrap's existence, the squab lettuce wrap has quickly become a jilted ex-girlfriend.

My bf's family and I wanted to eat GUI upstairs but the wait was ridiculous, so we ended up downstairs at Good Eats. Despite this being a Chinese restaurant, the overall vibe felt like a more upscale Korean bar for lack of better terms. We got the salty pork shank (two ways with soup), bean curd with shredded pork, Taiwanese rice noodles, spicy shredded beef, and spicy intestines. I wasn't able to eat most of the spicy dishes, but I did try the pork shank soup, rice noodles, and some bean curds. They were pretty standard in terms of taste and quality. The soup was definitely worth the price because there's an entire shank in there and flavor was definitely creamy, thick, and rich with lots of vegetables and vermicelli. Overall, Good Eats was nothing special and just another Chinese restaurant amongst the many in Rowland Heights. However, all the food dishes were served pretty quickly and staff was helpful.

We walked out the restaurant after 30 mins of wait because service does not exist at all. When we arrived, the restaurant was packed but not so many people waiting in line. No one greeted us and we had to put our name on the waiting list by ourselves. Then, we tried to ask the manager and waiters about how long it would take for a table of three but no one could even tell us ANYTHING. They just said they'll come back and left us hanging there for thirty minutes. While waiting, we saw some tables remained uncleaned, money uncollected for 10-15 minutes after some customers left. There are customers waiting for more than 20 minutes at the table for food. Everything seems very chaotic. Suddenly, someone walked in and just took our table. The waiting list served no function. We told the waitress who made mistake about it and she said the next table will be ours. It seems that you have to know someone there to get some service. Finally, we decided not to keep waiting for the chaotic service the whole night and walked out.

Normally we come here for the sesame oil pork kidney soup with noodles, today however, was quite disappointing, as we have eaten at hundreds if not thousands of restaurants but not once have we had noodles that were thrown into the pot when water wasn't even at boiling point... Who would cook noodles when water is still cold...Well, they did. After one bite from several of us, we immediately noticed the noodles weren't done right...somewhat soggy to a point it almost felt the noodles have gone bad(mushy). We asked the waitress to take a look, she took it to kitchen and came back confirming our theory... To make the matter worse, she started talking about how we should never put noodles into the pot when water isn't boiled...WTFFFF, I couldn't help it but ask her, who does that (other the person in your kitchen)...She immediately said she was joking... I think it is best we stick with Chef's china kitchen, while it is much smaller and less appealing, at least I have never had such messed up noodles. Everything else was great, but if you can mess up noodles, I don't think you deserve a 2nd chance...

Was considering trying this venue while in Krabi for the next few days, until I read the following in the description "Steakhouse, Bar, Grill, Caucasian, Vegetarian Friendly, Gluten Free Options". Please help me understand EATS the need to site "Caucasian" in your description, as I'm quite confused!
