I've never been to any other skewer restaurant and came to this place twice within a week or so, so this is a review based on that background info. The restaurant is located on the second floor of Pearl Plaza. Your best bet at parking during peak hours is in the parking structure to the right of the plaza. The door to the restaurant is a bit hidden and just looks like a wooden wall but when you get closer to it, it opens automatically like a sliding door. The first time I came was around 7:30 pm on a Thursday night (party of 5) and the second time was around 4:30 pm on a Sunday (party of 3). We didn't have a reservation the first time because it was an impromptu decision to eat there and we were seated right away. I made a reservation for the second time just in case and was also seated right away because the restaurant was empty at the time. Each table comes with roasted peanuts and two types of dipping salts/spices for each person. They have plenty of different types of skewers to choose from so there's something for everyone. They also have appetizers and already cooked dishes you can order. It may seem like the skewers will take a long time to cook but it actually goes by fairly quickly. The servers were really attentive both times I went. I will say that it is a bit pricey compared to something similar like KBBQ since it's not all you can eat. Both times I spent about $40 something but you do leave extremely full. Definitely recommend a try!

This place was recommended by a friend who spoke highly of it, but my experience was quite the opposite. The service here is decent, and the grilled meat skewers are of good quality. However, when I saw grilled enokitake, I expected them to be garlic-flavored, but unfortunately, they were plain. The grilled squid and oysters were pre-made. They tasted like frozen. Don’t order garlic crawfish rice bowl, it sucks, incredibly salty.

Ambiance: i give then a OK. with a loud sounds the staff cant barely hear you what do u want to order. over all id say need to change their price too expensive for a samll portion

This place is all right. I'll say out of skewer places I've tried so far, it's not too bad. We tried a vast variety of choices but I thought their chicken was the most moist option (bizarre). I also thought their gizzards were good too.

The selection of skewers were plenty. We sat in the big booth for the five of us. It was fun grilling the skewers ourselves. The price was pretty reasonable. I like that there is no time limit on the table but I'm not sure if it's still the same now as this is a late post. We came right when they open for dinner on a weeknight so there was no wait and the waiter didn't rush us. We will come back again next time in L.A.

4 stars is right on the money. The overall quality of the meat is average, but the generous portions and the white coals / rotisserie experience overall rounds the whole experience as one worthwhile. Rounds out to about 20-25 bucks per person, which is quite good for what is basically a steak dinner in 2024. *parking alert : if you're trying to come here for a weekend dinner 6-9pm, parking will be close to impossible. Come early, weekday dinner, preferably. 4 solid stars.

Coming here on a monday night the place was fairly busy. Who doesnt love meat on a stick served with a nice cold beer? We booked a room that had a $400 min order. Let me tell you, it wasnt easy finishing all the food with 6 people. The quality of the food all was pretty good. The lamb skewers could be a bit more higher quality. The service was attentive and they helped us cook and double check skewers from time to time. I think everything tasted fine. I would skip the beef tongue as it seems overpriced. The lamb chops were very good as well as the abalone. The room was fairly clean and the most important thing was the draft fan sucked all the smoke away.

I went to this restaurant many times because i loved the skewers and peanuts. I went yesterday to find out that the skewers are now half portion for the same price. The picture i took was the size of my pinky. Also my gfs honey chicken wings was still RAW. They at least gave us new ones. The food is still good but if you care about portion size, its probably a good idea to go somewhere else

I went there on Saturday night and it was super crowded! We ordered various skewers and they were really tasty. Server was also super nice and he enhanced my experience there by giving proper information about food. It is a great place for casual dinner or drinking night!

It’s perfect for a dinner party with friends or a date. The atmosphere is super nice. I highly recommend their cold dishes and meat skewers. The service is also good. There will always be waiters to help grill or check if it’s cooked. Just remember to get in line early. The wait will be longer on weekends.

The food looked so ugly. Four people just charged an 18% tip, even after tax. It’s not like they didn’t give it. They didn’t even remind them. After paying, they brought the bucket over. Do you still want a tip? They don’t help with packing, and now they don’t even help put the first wave of meat on the grill...

By my sister's invitation, my whole family get to have this fun experience. Various sauces and spices make it more exciting to try new things on different meats. Once the skewers are settled on the fire, it rotates automatically and starts to grill. As the aromas hits your nose, it will be hard to resist not to eat but you have to have patience to make it perfect. Meanwhile, you can either snack on the complimentary peanuts or order other dishes to pair with the meats, which enhances the flavor. Each meats are marinated differently so you will taste something new on every bite. Their other dishes are also phenomenal so if you don't try them, you'll regret later. Their service is amazing. As they bring the dishes you ordered or fill up your beverages, they constantly check on the skewers and let you know when to eat. Also, they ask you how each of the meats and dishes came out. If you are not sure, they recommend to try something else, which is very nice. The restaurant has a cool vibe with black and red color theme furniture, walls, and lights that makes you want to stay and hang out for a long time. There is also a big screen playing K-pop music videos in the main room of the restaurant, which is entertaining. If you prefer watching sports, they do have several TVs in a certain area.

Great food. Ridiculous wait time. My friends and I waited nearly 2 hours before we got to sit down and eat. It was our first time there. Next time we know to avoid Saturday nights.
