I used to always buy a fish ball soup at this place. I always loved it because it's so good. Until I came to get it again and I realized that I only got $2 back. There's always this one grandma who's there and I gave her two ten dollar bills. When we went back to confront her she told my parents that I only gave her a ten dollar bill and a five dollar bill and told my parents that I lied. She had the audacity to tell my dad to check the cashier because I didn't give her a twenty dollar bill. She convinced my mom I lied to her and my dad even tho my dad gave me two ten dollar bills. Their food is good but this was the first time I've payed by myself so if there are any kids out there thinking of ordering there. Make sure to check the price and count the change. The old woman thinks that's it's easy to scam. The noodle costs $13, I gave her 20 and she gave me back 2 trying to persuade my parents that I only gave her $15. I am never coming back here and I hope she doesn't scam other younger kids like me. The place is very filthy and a very dirty environment. Please don't ever come here. She could scam you too. She did it without a doubt.

Came in on Chinese New Year to have some soup before another party to attend to later in the day. Upon walking up to the counter I noticed the lady smoking a cigarette inside where the order takes place. I know it's wrong in all ways but hey , older gen folks don't give a damn. I proceeded to order a "duck soup" and fried squid which came out to to 24$. Inflation must be real bad right now... Calamari isn't cooked the same as pictured in their menu. My soup came out and I found out it was wonton soup and 2 fish balls. I went back and questioned did she not understand my ordering of duck? She then looks at me and says no duck.. wonton soup. By this time, im just gonna let this pass because it's an old lady still hustling to make a living. Wonton is all wrapping and no meat! I kid you not, even smaller Than a penny to compare in circumference. Broth was just mid. Chili oil could only go so far.. Fried squid. It's alright. I would recommend anyone upon ordering to point out at the soup they desire to ensure no language barrier can guilt trip anyone in paying a premium price for mediocre soup

Liar, the boss recommends beef brisket rice. When I go home and open a piece of beef brisket, there is no beef tripe.

The flavor is totally unrelated to Hong Kong but it is very good. Beef is very tender and well cooked. The soup is very good too. I always love it. I always order the beef stew noodle soup

I pass HK Fishball House all the time as I shop at the market or buy food from restaurants nearby. It often smells like sewage in that area so I'm sure the plaza experiences drainage issues. Anyways last night I saw many people dining here and it peaked my interest. It's a walk up window kind of place at the front of the courtyard area by the market. Very easy to find with lots of parking. They were closing soon so I ordered popcorn chicken and taiwanese sausage to-go... i figured I'd start with safe choices and they were prominently pictured on the window. Ugh! The popcorn chicken was so bland like no seasoning on it. The sausage was a tiny portion and not good at all. I ended up throwing the sausage away. I wanted to like this place but I don't think I will return.

As close as you can get to Chinese street food in America. What I Ordered: - Wonton egg noodle soup: very much hit the spot as I was craving broth. The wonton were good. I opted for egg noodles and they were cooked well. Not overly soft - Fried fish balls: As it's called a fish ball house, I had to try these. Fish balls were pretty tasty, especially smothered in that sauce, but it was pretty one note in terms of flavor. I think a good app to get to share with people Pros: - Open early! As someone who works night shift, I'm always on the lookout to find places that open early, and this is one of them. Great place to get noodle soups - She offered different types of noodles - thin rice noodles, thick rice noodles, and egg noodles - Menu is small and mostly noodle soups, but my friend did get pork chop and rice. She said the pork chop and rice was pretty tasty. There was also a selection of fried street snacks and teas - Pretty quick at getting my food out whenever I order Cons: - CASH ONLY! - Outdoor patio seating only, think 4-5 tables at most. So be prepared to smell stinky sewer smells (just like in asia! Very authentic, haha), fight with flies, and that hot summer heat. I would suggest just getting this as take out - The old lady doesn't speak much English. Luckily I could just point to the picture menu and ask for what I want. The few times I've been there in the morning she seems pretty happy to get me food - Asian parking lot. I typically go there early in the morning, so there is plenty of parking, but I can only imagine how nightmarish it can get as the day progresses and the lot gets busy. I feel like the parking lot hasn't been repaved or painted since it opened, so beware of all the potholes and wondering if you parked appropriately. Would I come again? For breakfast after work, yes

I have been wanting to try this place and finally did.. It was okay. I think I was a little thrown off by a few things that I am on the fence on wanting to give it another try or not. Duck Rice Noodle Soup was good, but not enough broth. I think they make their own rice noodle so it got really thick fast. Also, it was on the salty side.. Fried pork intestine: pretty good, I love fried pork intestine, only thing it needed was slightly more salt and white pepper dust. One bad thing that really threw me off was there was a tin of cigarette on top of a table.. Turns out that tin was the owners.. she went and smoked after my order. A new customer came in and she proceed to help the guest. She first took the order, then proceed to accept payment, and tried to cook right away. The guest noticed and called her out on not washing her hands.. I mean, maybe she was in the process of going to wash her hands but that was really off putting. Since reading the reviews some say new ownership and quality went down.. So I am hesitant to go back just because of the sanitary reasons..

Recently changed the ownership. Food tastes bad and price is way more expensive. You can even taste the dish soap in the soup base.

I grew up with HK food being born there and I can 100% say that this place does not represent HK. The worker doesn’t speak any CANTONESE at all, only mandarin. The noodles are WAY OVER PRICED and the wontons are not HK style. It is Hunan northern style where the meat is barely the head of a chopstick. Even the Costco wontons are bigger and have actual meat. I asked for beef belly noodle (ngow-lom mein) and they gave me beef tripe and told me it’s the same. No it’s NOT. Ok so I order 2 noodles and an “famous pork intestine”, total came out to be $29! And I get to eat on a rotted Rusty table with flies all around. Asked for a cup of coffee and they charge $4, and Starbucks Americanoventi is only $3.85. Crazy, this place is not worth the money, not worth my time and I wasted precious stomach space that I could’ve went to any HK cafe to get better food.
