Dumplings, beef roll, pan seared pork and corn dumplings, corn chowder, marinated cucumbers. These are my new favorite foods. Service was quick and hospitable, everyone was super helpful, friendly, and efficient. We will definitely be back!

The noodles are average and the hot and sour soup is recommended. It has a Taiwanese taste. Fengyuan Pork Rib Crispy Soup is also great. Fried dumplings and beef burritos are also recommended. I won’t push the dry shreds, it’s like cutting bean skin into strips

Small portion, flavorless, overpriced. If you grew up in a Taiwanese or Chinese family, this is not the place for you. XLB is a complete joke. They don't even serve real black vinegar. It's watered down black vinegar mixed with sesame oil. It's gross.

Ji Chou, a relatively new Taiwanese restaurant in Rowland Heights, is created by the same group behind 85C Bakery. It has a small bakery counter but is mostly a dine-in restaurant serving traditional Taiwanese cuisine. Located in a bustling plaza so parking can get hard to find. They had a hiccup with the check-in kiosk when we went, but staff was responsive and making a reservation was pretty easy. Prices are reasonable, especially when sharing dishes. Standouts include the popular xiao long bao (arrive early to snag them! They were sold out by dinner when we went on a random Thursday night), flavorful string beans, and dumplings with crispy bottoms. Keep in mind that meat dishes tend to lean towards the sweeter side, like the beef noodle and beef roll. Save room for dessert! Their mango sago cup was amazing.. Overall, Ji Chou Dumplings is a great spot for those craving Taiwanese comfort food.

It may be pricey for some, but the food is delicious! I really enjoy their dumplings that are filled with soup. Be careful! Every first bite, a lot of soup may squirt out. They have really good Xiao Long Bay and Dumplings!

Newly opened in Rowland Heights for Dumplings and Shao long Bao. The menu is limited for pan fried dumplings and Shss as o long Zbso but it was tasty. The dipping sauce station was cool. Ready made sauce and you can mix your own concoctions. Clean and spacious and the staff is very nice and accommodating. Will come back and try other dishes.

This place has typical Taiwanes flavors. Hot & sour soup and dumplings are little too sweet. Beef wrap has a very thin layer of beef with whole bunch of cilantro and green onions. Fried dumplings are not my favorite type. Price is a little higher than other similar stores.

Ok, so I walked into here because I thought it was 85 degree bakery, but apparently I was also in the mood for dumplings so that worked out. They kept the layout of the previous Korean noodle place, nice and airy. I got a bunch of items to go, and they were actually pretty quickly made. The xiao long bao and pan fried dumplings are pretty decent, even though they were eaten hours later so I assume they will taste better sit in. The fried rice and minced pork noodles are also good. I wish the meat portion comparing to noodles would be a bit more, or just cut back on the noodles. They have a lot of competition in this area though so wouldn't be my first choice, but plus side is no wait and decent parking.

We arrived here around 6:30 pm on a Sunday evening. Parking was easy to find. The restaurant is in the same plaza as Maiko and Banana Bay. Process: Wait at the front until seated. They bring out water for you and the menu. The full menu can be found on a QR code at the table. From the QR code, you can also order and pay as well which I thought was nifty. It allows you to order as a group or individual. The QR code is specific to your table. Interior: The place looked really modern and clean. The seats and tables were really nice! Lots of tables inside to sit at. Food: The food was pretty good. We ordered the Cabbage & Pork and Chives & Pork dumpling. They tasted really similar to each other so can't go wrong with either. The cabbage had a more neutral taste while the chives were more oniony. They had a sauce bar in the front for the dumplings. The only negative thing I have to say was that they ran out of many menu items but they didn't close until 8:30 pm. We only had 2/5 of the pan fried dumplings and 2/5 of the desserts to choose from. - $10.99 Pan Fried Cabbage & Pork Dumpling (9/10): the dumplings were juicy and filled with Taiwanese cabbage and pork - $10.99 Pan Fried Chives & Pork Dumpling (9/10): the dumplings were green and had a great onion flavor to it - $4.99 Regular Size Classic Corn Chowder (8/10): contained cabbage, ham, onion, potato, celery, and croutons. The chowder was such a good value! Good portion and tasted delicious. It came out hot and they did not skim on the corn. They also have a large size for $8.99. - $3.85 Caramel Pudding (9/10): egg pudding with golden caramel sauce. This dessert was delightful and refreshing. Can taste the caramel but it was not super sweet at all. Good balance. Small though, I can finish it in 3 bites. - $3.50 Mango Sago Pudding (5/10): it was kinda thick and not creamy Thoughts: I would definitely come back when I am in the area. The interior, food, and service is amazing.

UNDERWHELMING AND TERRIBLE. Overly hyped on social media, but an utter disappointment in reality. While the menu looks and sounds really appealing, the food is quite bland, the portion sizes are just okay and the pricing is high for what you get. I would rather spend the same amount of money at DTF for higher quality food. I've had better XLBs, beef noodle soup, green onion pancake and literally everything else I ordered at other Taiwanese restaurants. Also, service is just beyond awful. Our waitress misunderstood us a number of times, as she failed to put in the order for multiple dishes, brought us a cup of ice when we asked for ice water, and just seemed downright confused. Avoid this place!
