7:10 PMI’ve never felt to disrespected and discriminated in my life. I came to lunch on 4/10/2024. I came to bring my date for all you can eat and added the all you can’t drink for two people. We fullly understood that we had a 90 minute time limit. The entire lunch we ordered conservatively and never once ordered more than we could finish. We never ordered after 90 minutes. At 80 minutes we order one more pitcher of beer and 4 small orders of beef. They only brought 2 orders and one pitcher. At 2 hours they told us we over stayed our welcome and should have been gone at 90 minutes. When they approached us they said if they are busy you need to leave at 90 minutes. The restaurant was empty. There was literally 70 percent of the restaurant was empt there was no one there. It was amber the manger that wanted to kick us out. They made us feel so incredibly unwelcome. She mentioned that manger customers waste food.we never once ordered superfluously. When they approached us we had a single plate of beef and half a pitcher of beer in front of us. I never in my life have felt this was but amber kept arguing and arguing about other customers and what other customers do. It was disrespectful and disgusting. I see why this restaurant sits empty. Amber needs to be removed. She treated us in the most disgusting of mangers I felt she saw us less then human. I honestly couldn’t believe it. The server came with our check and said we have here in their empty restaurant longer then 2 hours and we needed to pay and leave

First time trying this spot and was pleasantly surprised at the portion of the skewers and the price is decent. The beef skewers were tender and I love the beef with pineapple! Only wished there were more seafood options and items at the snack bar but overall loved the spicy house soup base and really liked they did have good selection of veggies. Would definitely come back again!

This is an underrated hotpot place. It's in a strip mall in Rowland Heights, where there's ample parking. For whatever reason, the drivers there are kinder and more patient, so as a pedestrian, I feel safe there. The restaurant itself is clean. They automated the process so that you can order your soup base, veggies, meats (on a stick or on a plate), and whatever add-ons you'd like. They have a sauce and spices station (which costs an extra $3 but it's worth it), where you can also get shrimp chips, as well as fruit like watermelon and orange slices for after the meal.My stomach cannot handle spicy stuff so we ordered the mushroom broth. It was flavorful on its own, but mixed with the seasonings we chose, made for a potent soup. We ordered things like beef with enoki mushrooms, wagyu beef, lotus root, and a nice appetizer they call spicy pork (that you dip into ketchup and an orange peppery spice mix) - everything was mouth-wateringly good.We couldn't order more because we were so full as it is, so I suggest going with a large group. The atmosphere is fun and relaxed (we went at lunchtime), and the diners inside were respectful of everybody else. Our server Tee, was friendly and attentive. She made sure our water pitcher was always full and that we understood the mechanics of how to maximize our experience there. We loved our time there so much that we are planning to spend our kid's birthday there because his friends haven't experienced anything like this. It's a forgone conclusion that it will be fun - and that we'll get so much bang for our buck!Pro tip: become a member of their program and get a discount!

Malubianbian is so good! My friends and I enjoyed our hot pot experience. Make sure to stop by the sauce bar and make your own sauce or two while you’re waiting for them to bring out the food.We got the half bone soup base and half flaming spicy soup. Even at mild for the spicy soup, it was still quite spicy. My favorite meats and veggies are the angus beef, lamb, napa cabbage, tong ha, fried tofu skin, pumpkin, mushrooms, okra and soft tofu. The world spicy world glass noodles were super bomb, but also super spicy and numbing. I could only have a few bites, but the texture was excellent and flavor was on point.Highly recommend going back to the dessert bar afterwards and getting a bowl of brown sugar jelly dessert to cool down.

I love malubianbian for its unique skewer style hotpot. The spicy soup here is so on point and delicious. The servers are so quick to bring your order out. Highly recommend the enoki wrapped beef, always my favorite item here. For something unique, the chicken gizzard was actually really tasty! Highly recommend this spot for mid range priced hotpot!

A great place for Chinese style hot pot. Food is pretty good and fresh, recommend beef and enoki, lotus root, shungiku, and noodles (eat at the end to soak up the broth) You order on an app, and the food comes to ur table fairly quick. Staff was fairly attentive checking the heat of the burner n stuff and taking away finished plates. Ambiance is casual, great place to have a casual dinner with friends/family.

We enjoyed this different concept of hotpot -- in skewers. We like it cos we can try multiple ones in different flavors. Don't forget to try out their Handmade Shrimp Balls, SO GOOD It gets packed so try to call them for a reservation or check Yelp waitlist.
