My new go-to spot! There’s not too many chinese halal restaurants in Rowland Heights so I am glad that this is here. The portions are large and the regular size big plate can fill up to 3-4 people. Sometimes it is difficult to communicate with the staff but otherwise, the food comes out very quickly and is very delicious!Parking is not hard to find as there is a huge parking lot in front. 10/10 recommend!

My family and I are from Xinjiang. it’s super rare to find an authentic tasting dish from our region, but this place knocked it out of the park. The chef is a Kazakhstan, and makes the best hand pulled noodles. We eat here at least once a week.

Such a lovely halal dinner spot! The food and tea are delicious and flavorful - my favorites from this 1st visit are the langman, samsa, and royal tea.The best part of the restaurant for me was the atmosphere. The owners & everyone working at the restaurant are very friendly, kind, and dedicated. They made us feel like family friends ❤️. The decor is awesome and makes the place feel so lively. The crowd included lots of families and there was even a cute birthday party outside. I even noticed a small live music stage. A very welcoming, chill, and fun place with wonderful food. I would happily sit here all day just for the vibes ?. Thank you!!

Had some major cravings for uyghur cuisine aka xinjiang. Heard about Ma's kitchen so I decided to try this place. It did not disappoint. I'll be coming back more often here.Pretty good, just wished it was spicier since xinjiang is known for its spice. Feels like they toned it down for the U.S. market. Here's what I've tried:NaanLamb Kebab*Steam Lamb*NaanSamsa*Big Plate Chicken with Noodles*Fried Meat Hand-pulled Langman*Special Spicy Fried Noodle*Xinjiang Spicy Rice Noodle*Xinjiang Yogurt*MUST ORDER the ones with *Will try different dishes next time. There's only so much I can eat alone.Friendly Love the decorations and there's also a karaoke machine if you guys are brave enough to sing.Check out my Ma's Kitchen reel on Instagram or short on Youtube!

An amazing halal restaurant! We came in around 6:30 pm and there were many tables available. The interior was cozy as well. We put in our order, and food started coming out within 10 minutes! The owner kindly gave us a bowl of dates to break our fast with, as well as showed us where we could pray. They provided a couple prayer mats as well. The food itself was delicious and very flavorful. I had been wanting to try halal Xiao Long Bao for a while, and this did not disappoint. The "small" Big Plate Chicken was actually huge! We enjoyed every dish and will continue to support this restaurant!

One of the benefits of living in Southern California is you get to explore the amazing diversity of cuisines! Ma's Kitchen brings to us Chinese Halal dishes from the remote Chinese province of XinJiang, a predominantly Islamic region 3 times the size of France! The decor proudly reflects their origin: lamps of rich variety of colors, paintings of Islamic rituals, etc. Staff was polite and attentive; patiently explained menu items to us. Meat dishes mostly are made with lamb; though at our request they changed some to beef. If you like gamy meats, you might like this place. But if you don't, you may want to stay with chicken dishes. We ordered their baked lamb dumplings, fried noodles, and the famous Big Plate Chicken. All very rich in flavor - some very spicy and salty. I love their handmade noodles; taste like pasta cooked al dente! Overall the cuisine is a bit too heavy for my taste but the dining experience is unique and fun! Situated in a large corner mall with plenty of free parking; but also lots of other stores and customers.

Highly recommend this restaurant! The hostess was super sweet and had some great recommendations, and she kept checking in on us to make sure everything was okay. I recommend any of the beef items & the xiao long bao! The hand pulled noodles were really good but the big chicken dish was a little disappointing overall. I would come here again and definitely try more items off of the menu. The overall vibe of the restaurant was really nice and everything was so clean.
