Mochinut has made a name for itself, from wherever it is they originate from, somewhere between Taiwan and Japan I'm sure, they definitely deserve the praise and attention of all fellow donut lovers. The texture of mochi with the simple but thoughtfully-classic flavors makes it difficult to choose but impossible not to pass up. Everything is subtle but to the point, no frills, thrills or unnecessary grills, just the dollop of drizzle and a loving layer of icing or flavored sugar, it's the Krispy Kreme you want without the grease or the self-hate that is sure to follow minutes after the box had been emptied, crumbed and tossed in sad coffee jizzzz. The texture is very well balanced, the only thing I would maybe have to say that needs improvement is the freshness but we also didn't come until after 4:20pm-- so story would've been different if I'd shown up at the crack of first donut. If I was casing for more cheese and fried foods, without the OC fair, I'd consider stuffing my face with their multiple flavors of fun batter on a stick. Some of their corndog flavors looked.. like I need a bite or two. And I'm.. one of the last persons who'd ever volunteer to chomp down on corndogs-- any dogs, for that matter. Mochinut you have my blessing. Make sure to go a little extra and get a pack of at least three. Otherwise unveiling what's in this Tiffany box is going to be way sadder than a hungry tiger. If pastries could be animals, these would be the mane on lions. If you could eat a ring of pinchable powerful fur, wouldn't you? Then sleep for two days. I am full, Mochinut! Thank you!

Maybe I'm spoiled by Modo's mochi donuts but these were dry, not chewy enough, and the flavors were meh. Would not go back again, and now I'm mad I wasted a chance to go back to Coconut Jelly King a few doors down instead.

Quick and easy service! Price is in the higher side compare to other locations/ business but it's worth it! Since pregnancy I've been craving sweets and this really hit the spot!

I've been here three times,every time was a good experience with flavorful desserts. Yesterday we stopped by for coffee and dessert. We ordered a three-piece doughnut, coffee, and a strawberry latte. The donuts we had today were cookies and cream ,raspberry and churro. Very flavorful. The service is courteous and friendly, they have a few tables outside where you can sit down . The place It's not very big. There's plenty of parking with the handicap stalls close by..

So the minimum order is a box of 3. All 3 flavors that I got were kinda underwhelming, mostly because the mochi dough itself is quite bland, especially compared to other mochi donuts I've tried. The only flavor comes from the frosting, which was at least nice so it saved them a little bit. However, for the price point (and having to buy at least 3) I was really expecting a lot more

The #1 Original (left) and #4 potato are so fire. My gf always treats me out here and this place always puts a smile on my face and happy taste buds.For the sauces I recommend the Sriracha Mayo, which isn't too spicy but still has a nice kick to it. Also recommend the honey mustard, which I was surprised I liked even more than the Sriracha.Ube had too much ice in it but the delicious flavor made up for it!
Wanted to get a few moochinuts for my wife’s birthday ended up a bit disappointed. All of the items seemed days old. I’ve had the ones made fresh from other places in Anaheim and garden grove which are delicious but these came stale.

I didn't realize that they had opened a location in this plaza. This plaza has some of the worst parking i've ever seen. Always packed, people parked in the middle, the side - anywhere and everywhere.This location is just a pop-in, literally super small but i think for the most part - mochinut is relatively small. The night that I went, I got an ube fruity pebbles, a strawberry & a glazed. They were dry and i think have been sitting outside for quite some time. Very disappointing considering that theyre almost $10 for 3. Ive been to other locations where they have it sitting out too but it didn't taste as dry as this place did.

I've been wanting to try this place for awhile now and was finally able to swing by last night. I ordered the brown sugar churro, raspberry funnel cake and strawberry Mochinuts and added a red guava tea with lychee. The tea had a light, refreshing flavor which I really enjoyed, but it had a bit too much ice and the soda can style seal made it extremely difficult to get the lychee jelly out after all the liquid is gone. The mochinuts were good in flavor but not fresh tasting. Service was friendly.
