Been going here since I was a kid and my family still considers this place one of their favorite KBBQ places. The seng bulgogi is their specialty and it is delicious (kind of like sukiyaki, but I slightly prefer this more).

The food isn't bad. It's like a mix between hotpot and Korean BBQ. I really enjoyed the spicy dipping sauce as well. What really would keep me from coming back is the gritty spinach. It was not washed well at all. The service was also exceedingly poor. They gave us water once and that was it and pretty much didn't check on us. I don't regret trying it but I wouldn't return

It's Korean BBQ. the Neng-myun is a little bland but you're here for the BBQ.

When I visit my father, we always dine in here. Bulgogi is their signature dish! I also order spicy braised black cod fish which is so yummy!!! If servers know you service is great! Always bring out random side dishes and a complementary drink for regulars?( My dad and brother). Love the bold taste and all side dishes are delicious.Make sure to RSVP to avoid waiting.

Taste :4.3/5Environment: 4.3/5Service:4.3/5Located on the second floor of a strip mall in Rowland Heights, it’s always busy on the weekend you may need yo wait 30-40mins to be servedWhat I appreciated most about Gui BBQ was the wide selection of proteins and sides on the menu. You can build your own plate choosing from meats like char siu pork, teriyaki chicken, Mongolian beef, and sweet garlic shrimp. There are also vegetarian options like mapo tofu and bok choy.

The food is always great here! Each and every menu I've tried has been delicious! When I want reliably good Korean food, this is the place I come to.I've tried the Kimchi Jjigae, Yukgae Jang, Shiraegi Godung-O Jorim, Galchi Jorim, Thistle Dolsot Bibim Bap, Haemul Pajeon, Nakji Bokkeum, most of their cold noodles, Ugaji Tang, and Daeji Bulgogi Ssambab. This all over the course of many years.

We ordered Agujjim for almost $50 and the portion was ridiculous! There were a few pieces of fish (about 5 pcs or small size agu fish) and so little bean sprout. It was the size of my palm!!! The taste was also not impressive. Their food portion is getting less and less. Very disappointing.

When my granddaughter and daughter in-law came from San Francisco to visit me, they wanted K-BBQ.So, I recommended this restaurant, since I had good experience after the new ownership. We had seng bulgogi ( beef casserole with lots of veggies and mushrooms w/ beef broth) glass noodles towards the end. It's about $41/per order and in order to cook it on table min 2 orders so pretty much $82/min to order. It's bit pricey but it's worth it I think. Feed 3-4 people ( good portions )if you order another dish. she was also craving for soy bean soup, so we ordered that along with seafood pancakes ( which was huge). Service was great. By the end dinner we were too full so had Togo the rest of the food.Overall pretty satisfying dinner.

"OMG-ga-nae" should be their name since you'll be so shocked at their prices. $50 for a small galbi plate you'll get for half the price elsewhere. A complete joke. For the Sang Galbi they make you order for atleast 2. Why even show the price for 1 if theres a minimum??Used to come to this place since I was a child. Never again. Fix your pricing or become irrelevant in the next couple years.

LUNCH MENU REVIEWI've uploaded the most recent menu since prices have gone up. Expect to pay premium here. Pros- yummy authentic Korean food - fresh ingredients aka healthy meals- not the typical banchan side dishes but different variety - bomb shabu and bomb kbbq (not all you can eat)- my rice dish came with a free side of seaweed soup- lunch menu goes until 3pmCons- servers aren't attentive. I kept flagging them down. waited 10 mins to get my bill and it wasn't even busy- my spicy octopus dolsot bibimbap rice dish was good but very very sweet. And the bottom of the rice didn't get crispy. And they chopped up the octopus so tiny I felt ripped off. But it was yummy so I'm not docking any stars

This place at first glance is somewhat unassuming. Their restaurant name isn't directly over the entrance and instead have the words "Korean BBQ" in the most generic font ever. This in turn gave off one of those cheap places you'll go to if you had no choice kind of feeling. The menu here is pretty limited but the prices are quite high. The side dishes, provided free and unlimited, were pretty good, and the servers are your typical Korean old ladies who are pretty passionate about their job.Now to the food ordered. They have one fish that requires you to order 2 of minimum of you want to eat it. This essentially is a full order for a meal of 3-4 which kind of sucks if you wanted to order other food too. The dish in question is $42 each, and being a mandatory 2 of, makes it $84. The station stipulation can already dissuade a lot of people from ordering this dish, which can be considered one of their signature. If I had to describe the dish, imagine someone similar to hot pot meat but with the Korean Soup taste you'll have in the morning if you had to those Korean restaurants. The dish itself has enough flavor that you didn't need to use extra sauce when eating. We also ordered the bibimbap since we thought it might not be good, given the first order has no starch in it. The bibimbap wasn't very good and I would not order it again.Would I come here again though? Probably not as their prices are somewhat high for the amount of food you get and the variety you have access too. The quality here is pretty good, but in the current economy, I can't really justify eating here vs the many other Korean places available.
