Phoenix Food Boutique can be found in YES plaza off Colima and Fullerton Road in Rowland Heights. With so many Chinese restaurant options in the surrounding area, their full menu keeps us coming back here. This location offers a good number of seating indoors, and there is also plenty of space in the shopping center's parking lot. My sister and I have made it a tradition to visit a few times each year, usually after we visit a loved one at Rose Hills. Our go-to dishes are always the Spicy Salt Chicken Wings, Hong Kong Rice Noodles with Beef, and Yeung Chow Fried Rice. They're cooked with just the right amount of grease so not in excess like how many other restaurants prepare this entree. On our most recent visit, we also wanted to add a veggie so we ordered the Minced String Beans, Mushrooms & Sausage and the combo works well together. The only menu item I would say was a miss is the Hainan Chicken - the chicken is on the dry side and dipping sauces are lacking in flavor. For dessert, we closed out the meal with Mini Egg Tarts which is always a customer favorite. It's making me hungry just writing this review and I'm already looking forward to my next visit!

Typical Phoenix experience. Food is hot and fresh, but don't expect appetizers to come out first ?.

I've been to several of these places, and the fare is pretty standard. You go in with a certain level of expectation. Yang Chow fried rice - Normally, this is pretty good here, but this one was very mushy. The rice was overcooked. Chicken Wings - their specialty. Very good. I'd recommend.

The mixed fruit delight is always a hit here. Even though, you're paying extra for the additional scoop of diced mangoes, it seems nonexistent.

Everything has milk and sugar, from what I could tell. The gelatin was good but a texture I didn't really like. The cakes were soft and fluffy, but also very sweet. Their teas stood out to me. I liked the green tea and passion fruit mixes. It was overpowering but I added a little water to mellow it out and make it last longer. I liked this place for their drinks. The desserts were just too sweet and soft for me.

Saltiness of food varied between bland to inedible. Establishment needs an air curtain. Patrons commonly smoke outside the front door. Smoke smell travels indoors. Common area smells like a restroom. Employees are nice.

my hubby likes Phoenix a lot and if we cannot decide on what to eat, he will mention Phoenix everytime. We ordered their Yeung Chow fried rice, Beef chow fun and mango tapioca drink for to go this time. Honestly, their food taste not bad and the portion were not small for to go either. However, my favorites are their desserts and their drinks. They have few locations in Rowland Heights so make sure you go to the right location. :P

Reliable fast serving Chinese food cafe and hot and cold desserts. Just like Starbucks, they have one in almost every corners of the SGV area!

We came here for quick snacks after a meal in a different restaurant, in the same YES plaza. We usually get the black sesame and durian rolls
