The waiter service is not very good. It is a buffet itself and there is no service. Many of them are self-service. Every time I go to a Chinese restaurant to eat and pay in cash, I always leave a tip on the table. But to my surprise, the waiter came to me. When paying cash, she actually told me to please put the tip on the table. I felt very rude. I don’t know why she would say such a thing.

1st time here & enjoyed it. Everything we tried was very tasty. We ate lamb, ribeye, chicken & shrimp. The sweet sesame balls were also very tasty. The passionfruit juice was a great compliment to our meal.

The variety of dishes is too small. The taste of the bottom of the pot is relatively bland, I prefer spicy food. The meat is relatively fresh. Generally speaking, it's

I want to go there every day if I could. There are ample parking places, and the place is packed on weekends.Their lunch menu A is only $16.99, which is insanely low today with all the inflation, I honestly don't know how they can make money. You have to order the soup base and meat from the servers, rest are all self-serving. There is a snack bar with sesame balls, fries and spring rolls for the kids, and there are a line of freezers with literally everything, from veggies to seafood to tripe.Food is fresh given they move through everything pretty fast, for the price there is really nothing to complain.

It was a terrible dining experience. They didn't bring our broth until 25 minutes after we ordered. They did not refill the food and sauce selection. We had to ask the staff to refill it and was rebuked by one of them - he said, " You just have to wait." The staff looked like they were upset having to work there. A few people in my party felt sick after the meal - we suspect food poisoning. The restaurant did not seem to take sanitation seriously. The food thongs were thrown around haphazardly. The French fries were ice cold. Don't eat here!

We went around 2 pm for lunch and it showed $16.95 and there's a paper showing if we leave a good review on Google or Yelp and be able to get 20% off. Left a good review on Google but they told me yesterday as Pre-thanksgiving and they're charging dinner price all day. There's no notice posted in front saying it's all day dinner price. Won't come back for sure. These 5 stars yelp reviews are fake.

Most reviews may be fake. This restaurant offers 20% off if you leave them a 5 star review. I would not come back. I got food poising, I would say I have a pretty tough stomach... But I had the runs even before I left the restaurant. 3 out of 5 people in our party had food poising. Some like this restaurant, to each their own. Try at your own risk. When you walk in there is a kiosk stand for you to put your name down for waitlist. We stood right in front of entrance and they said they called our name multiple times for our table being ready which was a lie. Another party arrived after us and got seated right away, seemed like they know the staff there. They didn't add their name to the waitlist like other parties were. You get what you pay for, most of the veggies in fridge where you help yourself were out most of the time and they do not restock constantly. About half the veggie options were out for most of our visit, they restocked some items but others they didn't restock as it may be more of a cost to the restaurant. Out of stock included: wood ear fungus, daisy crown, quail eggs, bean curd, konjac noodles and more. They didn't restock those items until we were about to leave, we were there for about 90 minutes. Their meats do come quickly when you order with the servers. The spicy broth isn't spicy at all. Original broth is quite bland.

Not sure how this place can get over four stars in reviews. $32.99 is the most expensive premium plan we chose and expected to get better meat quality. However, all four of us only had 6 plates of meat as the 2nd round of the meat was definitely not fresh and not as fresh as the first round, even looked and tasted totally different. If this is the way owner does the business by serving only one round of quality meat of the premium combo, I would suggest you all just the basic combo because it won't be any difference. I believe there are better choices in the area and we will not come back.

Got tricked by the fake reviews. The store is giving out discounts for a five star review, but the food and services are just terrible. Not enough staffing and bad quality foods. Do NOT recommend this place.

We went here on Friday during lunch, It is AYCE and has 2 different prices. We pick the basic package and enroll the membership. The soups base are very tasty so I don’t even use any sauce. We love pork belly so the basic package is good enough for us.The service is very prompt, and many other self serving selections such as fish, shrimp, meat/fish ball, veggies, and ready to eat cold dishes, fried chicken, deserts. The only thing that we don’t like is the place that for veggies and other raw food is very tight which maybe due to limited space. But overall, the CP is high and good service.

I came here for a weekday lunch. It's pretty no frills. The broth is on the lighter side. There's a few fridges that you can go and grab vegetables and things that are not sliced meat. There's a sauce bar and then some snacks next to it. The pot boils well and the meat quality wasn't bad. The variety is a little more limited but not bad. For the weekday lunch price, it's a good deal. They also include free drinks but i think you have to ask for the soda or you can fill your own passion fruit juice

We went on a rainy night thinking it would be a great time. Instead as we were mid dinner leaks started appearing in the building and started dripping on us. Servers could be better. One was nice and informed us of which meats we ordered. One just dropped it off and didn’t say a word.

I brought my American friends to a restaurant in my hometown to eat at 7:40 in the evening. We waited for an hour and a half for a table. Those behind us were seated first. Then we remembered that we had to wait another half an hour before the pot was served. The two of us ordered the best set meal. After the first wave of ordering, they never came over and asked if they wanted to add meat to my friend. I was bragging about the meal, but when they came, they were not full. The service was not polite at the end and they left 15% of the consumption. In our Qingdao parlance, they are capable. Why don't you come here for nothing? It's embarrassing to use the name of Pichaiyuan to show off and cheat. Thank you.
