I can't believe a $12 beef belly noodle soup offers such a tiny portion! I almost felt like I was scammed . It had two pieces of meat and two pieces of broccoli and probably 1/8 of the flat rice noodle you can buy from the market which cost about $2. If the owner is reading this, please, either set a more reasonable price like $8, or offer more. I am giving a two star only because the rice paper roll did taste good, otherwise I won't hesitate to give one star.

Ordered a noodle from their featured picture. Food came out with a different meat and vegetable. They said it's a really old picture. ??? Didn't they just open? It's printed on a piece of paper it's not hard to take down. Like the others mentioned, literally scam - 12 bucks for 3 wrong pieces of meat

This place was a little bit confusing to find but to all that are reading, it's located along with Kristen Krunchy Chicken inside 168 market. Now first off I'm a s***** for nostalgic foods. I remember more dim sums and Chinese foods than hamburgers and hot dogs growing up here in so cal. So imagine my excitement when I read there was a place that specializes in making fresh Cheung fun aka rice paper rolls which are a staple in canto/HK food culture. For those of you who have been to New York and tried Joe's Steam Rice Rolls, that's pretty much what we are looking at. I ordered a combo A Cheung fun and a chicken rice since they also specialized in chicken. For the combo A Cheng fun, it's basically pick two proteins you want combined into one order and for me, that was beef and shrimp. The rolls also came with green onions, some shiitake mushroom and a few pieces of lettuce. The soy sauce was a nice savory with a touch of sweetness as standard Cheung fun should have. I also added egg but they forgot that. The rice paper roll itself was as good as it should be, nice and thin with a light chewy texture enhanced by the soy sauce. My only complaint about this was probably the lack of protein. There were exactly 3 small shrimps and 4 tiny slices of beef. Not exactly what I thought I would've been getting but hey, they just opened so maybe next time will be different? As for the chicken rice though, don't expect hainan war chicken rice if that's what you're thinking about getting. The rice is standard white rice with a side of boiled chicken and three sauces which included the typical green onion/ ginger sauce, some kind of boiled down chicken marinade mixture and sambal. Not much to comment here except for I probably wouldn't order this again. All in all, I would come back since you can rarely find freshly made Cheung fun here in the Rowland heights area that isn't as thick skinned as you get in dim sum restaurants. Makes for a quick light meal. -1 Star for the protein and missing the egg and -1 for the chicken rice which without the ginger/scallion sauce, would've been a complete no for me. Other than that, my next visit will probably be to their actual store in walnut.
