This is crazy. They're still taking orders on Yelp/GrubHub but when I arrived there was a sign up on the front door saying they're actually under renovation until August. Complete waste of time

This spot has reallllllllllll goood food. Get: big plate chicken with extra noodles and eat for a week as leftovers you will be happy.

Great great food! Get the big plate chicken you will not regret! It's a great price for how much food you get. Very very delicious

Great place, yummy food. I recommend the Big plate chicken. The food is very fresh and good quality. I hope they get a bigger place as it's hard sometimes to get a table.

Food is good. But service is bad. Decent environment, probably will not return. But if you want to try Xinjiang food

Suggest 23% tip but barely any service. Non-sustainable foam ware. No free water. How dare you?

Food was authentic, as well as the decor inside. The seasoning of the lamb skewers really brings me back to my trip on the Silk Road many years ago. The noodle was just the right amount of spicy. Loved the very chewy texture of the noodles; can taste that they're made in-house. Will be bringing my whole family next time to try the big platter chicken to continue reminiscing of my trip.

price to food ratio is bad. the only dish that we really enjoyed was the lamb kabob though they are pretty small. hot chicken plate did have generous amount of chicken, but not that many noodles despite paying for extra. the soup was also grainy. the beef bun filling was okay. tastes like bengali/indian samosa filling.

We came back to have more delicious Uyghur food. They make their own noodles. The spices are amazing. The lamb skewers are so tender! I loved it all.Deliciosa mmm Las brochetas wooo ? recomendado

For authentic Uyghur food I would highly recommend everyone to try Dolan's Uyghur Cuisine in Alhambra instead. For such a small restaurant, I do find it strange for there to be a total of eight cameras covering every angle of its indoor dining area ?

Silk Road Garden in Rowland Heights has very unique and authentic Xinjiang style cuisine. Lamb Shish Kebab ($3.99) is very delicious and never gets wrong here. Silk Road Milk Tea pot ($5) is a must order item, it comes with salty and sweeted 2 styles, and both are good. Big Plate Chicken (Bone In) Spicy ($35.95) is one of my favorite here. If you can eat spicy food, you must try this one. Tender Nan baked bread ($5) is very special and good. The service is ok here, the problem is that they only has 1 server around the whole restaurant every time coming here, that's mystery to me;). Other than that, we really enjoyed the food here since they have very unique Xinjiang crusine that I couldn't find anywhere else.

Really wanted to love this place, but sadly it really fell short of our expectations. The service was aloof - we were one of two tables during dinner, and I had to keep tracking down our waitress or going up to the counter. The skewers were pretty good flavor, but the meat was a bit tough. We also tried the Da Pan Ji, which I've eaten at other restaurants, and it had very little chicken and not as flavorful, as well as being extremely oily. We also ordered a dish with stir fried sauce over noodles (can't remember the name, but it was recommended by the waitress) and it was really odd. Didn't taste like much, again had very little meat, and just overall not great.

Ambiance: the restaurant has very stylish decorations, comfortable sofa seat, shared parking lot with other merchants in the plaza Service: the service doesn't even exist here, not patient with questions at all, when you ask what's their most popular dishes, you'll get the answer like everything on the menu is good, the waitress was also very rushed with orders, not served water until asked, and be ready for yourself served napkins and sauces too Food: overall ordinary taste and not so authentic Poshkel Fried Pancake - *** fried leaven dough, a bit soggy, didn't taste like freshly fried, more like reheated Big Plate Chicken Bone in Spicy - **** chicken and potatoes rich in flavors, and chewy handmade noodles, recommend Uyghur Pilaf Lamb - *** flavorful rice but not cooked in the right way, it should be mixed together with the lamb when cooking, instead the lamb slices on top of the rice were very dry Shurpa Lamb Soup - * the worst lamb soup ever, taste like plain water with msg, hardly see any meat, found four tiny pieces of lamb with bone in the entire pot, let alone those were undercooked and hard to chew, onion and tomato slices were what mainly served here in the lamb soup, the waitress said they've served the soup like this with stingy meat for years since they started the business, very speechless Price: small to large portions depending on the dish, about $35 per person, overpriced for its quality and not worth returning, I will mark this place as a no-go for friends

oh my!I will have to give it one star! 1. It is very expensive, we did not order too much for 2 girls, and the bill was more than $80 plus tips. There was no left over!!! 2. We asked for water, there was no water offering. They only have bottled purified water, which we were charged $3!!this is ridiculous, I can get 40 bottles in Costco with $2 more. Never return!
