Korean food sometimes is just the best to satisfy our comfort food cravings. This restaurant specializes in soups and musubi, also some special meat items and very limited fish and vegetarian items. We came in for a late dinner on a Sunday night, they open late every day which is convenient to grab late dinners.

Please come back and reopen it really miss the food. There are many new restaurants open during this time and if they can survive you can do it too.

Just called the number listed. Person on the phone indicated it was closed forever.... :((((((((((( Love their soups. Looks like only choice is Buena Park location but they don't offer purple rice option.

They say open on Yelp but the guy who picked up the phone very rudely said they are closed. Update your hours.

It's one of the best place to cure hang over or satisfy the late night craving. If you come with a group of meat lover, order the pot because you won't be able to consume all that tender meats yourself. I love the beef soup with ramen. It's safe, delicious, and hard to go wrong.

--Pre-Covid Review-- Came by with a friend on a Friday night for dinner. I love that I can get some solid Korean bone broth without having to go all the way to K-Town. Parking in Yes Plaza can be a pain but there are plenty of spots you just may need to circle around for a bit. The restaurant has plenty of seating and we were able to get a table right away. Service was absolutely wonderful. There were times where it was hard to flag someone down but the employees that helped us were all so sweet and helpful. For my meal I went with the combo option w/ the Yellow Corvina entree and the bone broth w/ mixed meat & noodles on the side. the Bronx abortion is supposed to be smaller in the combo meal so I was surprised that I still got the huge ball. Turns out it was a mistake, but once I let the waitress know, she was happy to charge me the original price and let me keep the whole portion. The bone broth was excellent. Beautifully milky and rich. I am glad the soup is not too salted so I can adjust the flavors myself. My favorite tang places all do something similar and give you a side of salt and green onion so you can adjust the soup to your liking (they don't do the green onion thing here though). The only issue I had with the fish. The yellow Corvina was under seasoned and overcooked. The bed of onions it was on were almost completely raw. Overall I really enjoyed my visit here. I would definitely stick with the soup in the future since it's their specialty. Hoping I just came on a bad day for the fish.

First off, Wooooow! Every item we tasted tonight had the right kick of spice and sweetness. First time here and I already see myself coming back again hundreds of times. My personal favorite and simple food item is their Beef bulgogi Musubi. I want to take some home with me and have them for a snack all day n.n

I really love this place! They have very delicious soup and the combos are a great deal. I have had the spicy pork and the japchae paired with Spicy Beef Bone broth, brisket and rice noodle. The server we have is always attentive and friendly!

Came here for lunch on a Thursday right when they opened at 11am. The restaurant was super clean and busy. The interior design of the restaurant reminded me of places I visited back in Korea. Simple, sleek and modern. The menu is very simplistic and easy to understand and read. You basically choose your broth, then your protein and then base. The waitress said that they were known for the Soups, Bulgogi, Grilled Mackerel and the Cockle Bibimbap. I ordered the Spicy Beef Bone Soup with Mixed Beef and Purple Rice. We also order the Mackerel which came out in a huge plate. The fish was butterflied in half and perfectly grilled. Everything was prepared fresh behind the kitchen with much love and appreciation. The Soup had an strong umami taste with a good amount of spice. You can tell it was steeped for hours! I would totally recommend this restaurant to anyone who is in the area!

I stopped by today because I saw a picture of their braised beef ribs. Added the cheese and rice cakes and it all came out so good. Watching them torch the cheese is always a fun experience. The place didn't disappoint. The service was spectacular. All the servers were on point today. They kept our waters filled and kimchi bowl loaded. Nothing but good things to say about my experience today. Plenty of Soju selections and it is served ice cold.

WATERY SOUP NO GOOD I gave this place 5 stars when it first opened. Their purple rice was perfectly cooked and their galbi tang was delicious. I went last week and was disappointed. There's no adults in charge here and it's obvious. They make you wait for a table for way too long even though there's plenty of empty seats. The rice is mushy and the soup is watery with no flavor. Our galbi tang was BLAND and so was the spicy beef soup (they use the same base broth) so my dad had to put lots of extra salt and pepper. Guess we'll be going elsewhere for galbi tang.

They must put milk or something in there soup. It looks milky but it does not taste like bone broth. It tastes very off. I will not return here.

Nice interior but the food is pretty average and the kimchee and other banchan are meh, especially for the price. there's better places out there for suhlungtang and yookejang, so likely not going to come back.

Pretty good if you like Korean combos. I usually go to tofu houses, where you can get galbi short ribs and soondubu. This place is similar - only they specialize in tang soup instead of tofu. I ordered the galbi tang (beef meat broth with beef rib) for my soup and it was super comforting, flavorful and delicious! Just perfect for the cold weather and tasted great with their purple rice! You can also opt for white rice, ramen or rice noodles, but if you get any of the rices, they automatically include some glass noodles in the soup. Unfortunately, the galbi was disappointing, as some of the rib pieces were really thin and dry. They almost tasted like beef jerky. This place would easily be 4 stars if they just improve the quality of their meat!
