The Chinese style BBQ was great. They actually got a decent ventilation system and range hood over the table that I didn't smell like grease after the meal. The decor was interesting; the wall has a giant mural of street BBQ vendor in China. The lighting was dark in the background but plenty at the table. The grill is motorized, which it goes back and forth. The metal skewers are meant to placed in the slots on the grills, so the edibles gets heated up evenly on top of the grill. The servers would assist in grilling the food. They also served bottle or drafted beer, but limited selection if you aren't too picky. The food was fresh, and fulfilling for sure. The parking was plenty. The restaurant was fairly clean. Overall, I enjoyed it. It gets a 4.4 out of 5. Will come again!

Now let's talk about the food. I am the type that doesn't like salty food, but everything on the skewer was bland. No seasoning on anything. The seasoning provided and one sauce doesn't give much variety of flavor. The atmosphere wasn't great. The waiter seem like he didn't want to be there and there was no smile and greeting. I gave two stars because the waiter was nice enough to cook our food though, but he over cooked the lamb skewer which made it dry. We like to eat slow and enjoy our food, when it's off the grill, but felt rush eating as he cooked multiple at a time. We were the only ones there when it opened. I also don't like random strangers right in front of me while I'm eating. I have anxiety. I think the only thing I enjoyed was the cheese corn and the spicy rice cake. Would I go again? No. Recommend? No.

It's tbh a 3.5 experience. 1.5/5 on the atmosphere. There's literally smoke everywhere.. what a hazard. I sat down and almost started tearing up, but I wanted skewers and all other places had such a long wait.. I remember someone recommended this place to me before so I stayed to try it out. I would give it 0 star... but the service was quick and they're very nice so I rated up a bit. The self rotating rack to cook the skewers was nice. Much classier than GUI next door. 4.5/5 on the food! We ordered too many items actually.. Sausage - good. It's the sweet kind. Large and juicy. Not like the American sausages. I like it! (4/5) Corn - I overcooked it lol, but it was still good! I mean you cannot really go wrong with corn anyway. It was the sweet corn, you get half a cob skewered. (5/5) Lamb skewers - the best lamb skewers I've had in a long time! Usually they are not so tender, but these are! But I guess the fattiness also made some parts a little harder to eat as well. Welp, I like it anyway. More pros than cons here. (4.5/5) Beef skewers - these are actually pretty good too. If you don't eat lamb, have this! It's just not as fatty and tender as lamb imo. My boyfriend thought they were all similar.... @-@ (4/5) Chicken skewers - ok this is my least favorite.. they were a bit lean so not very tender.. maybe I overcooked it? I left it cooking for a while since it's chicken and it shouldn't be eaten raw unless you want to be sick.. (2/5)

When I’m craving skewers this is definitely my go to place in Rowland heights. You have the option to order in fives or tens (beef or lamb) and then you could pick it whether you want it mala spicy or not. They also have soups and noodles and other things but I usually go for the skewers!! The restaurant is pretty spacious so there usually isn’t a wait but it does get more packed during the evening times.

One of our go to spots for "Chinese Kebab BBQ". It's based on traditional Chinese street food, where they serve small chunks of mixed meats on a skewer and grilled in front of you. You get to choose from an assortment of choices: beef, lamb, chicken, seafood and veggies. Most of the kebabs are rubbed with chile peppers and cumin, so if spice isn't your thing then it's probably not for you because everything is spice based. Every meal also comes with a side of salad, sliced cucumbers, tomatoes, steamed bean sprouts, two spice dipping powders, and one red dipping hot sauce. There are additional appetizers for additional as well. Built into each table is a gas grill that turns each kebab stick back and forth until cooked to your desired liking! Usually you have to monitor it yourself, but the servers do come around occasionally to finish it off the grill for you or to let you know if its done or not. Some of my favorite kebabs are mild spicy lamb, lamb ribs, marinated beef, beef tongue, beef belly, beef tendon, pork kidney, pork belly, pork bellies wrapped scallop, chicken heart, chicken gizzard, and mushroom. They also serve beer, sake and soju! Minus one star because they could really use an update, super outdated and sticky tables/chairs, bathroom is always dirty, and extremely sticky floors. And their air vents don't seem to work very well, because all the smoke constantly blows in your face and your eyes burn. BUT the food is delicious.

Been here several times now, and each time the food doesn't disappoint. It is Chinese style bbq kebobs, and they cook it on an alternating grill. It is located in the 99 cent store plaza, so there is plenty of parking. never had an issue there. I like the variety they offer here, you can find the usual like marinated beef, marinated chicken, pork belly etc. They also have some unusual like Beef tongue, chicken hearts, bull penis (never tried it), and one of my new favorites kimchi wrapped in pork belly. I am a big fan of kimchi, so wrapped in that pork belly you get the savory rich flavor mixed in with that pickled sourness, dipped in their red sauce, it is straight fire! The service is generally pretty good and friendly I never had a problem. The price is reasonable I spent about 100 bucks between me and my girlfriend; we like to order some of the more exotic meats but that price also includes beer and tip. The only complaint I have is their ventilation is lacking. Most times I go eat there there is constant smoke in my eyes from the bbqing, so that is pretty irritating. Also the interior could use an upgrade as well. But the food is good enough for me to overlook these things and keeps me coming back.

Wudi is DELICIOUS! If you're in the area, I would highly suggest going here if you're craving some Chinese skewers/BBQ. I can't even begin to describe how exquisite the restaurant is. The flavors and spices used for the meats and within the dishes really capture and show how there's influences from the eastern parts of the world and it's just, wow! The lamb and beef skewers were my favorite and I'd definitely recommend you getting plenty of orders!

This is my most favourite Chinese kebob place! It really reminds me the ones you get in China! Definitely get the mild lamb kebobs and cheese corn (if you're a cheese corn lover) My friends never had lamb and this place made they love it so much! We had 25 lamb kebobs!! The other kebobs were good but the mild lamb kebob has a special place in my heart. The waitress that helped us at 9:30pm is so sweet and nice! We love her so much she is so beautiful!

The quantity is good, but how was the meat? Beef was good, lamb was okay, chicken was so-so. It's an interesting place; The skewers are rotating on this interesting contraption that makes it easy to cook the meat evenly. The service was good... Maybe if they change up their way of marinating things, I might come back.

I went around 6:30 pm on Sunday & we were seated immediately. They have a large selection to choose from. I loved the spicy lamb and beef skewers and how the meats rotate on the skewers in front of you. The staff was attentive to make sure the meat was cooked correctly and would come to check on it. I also got the pork belly & enoki mushroom which was very juicy. The only one I would most likely not get again was the beef tongue, it was quite tough to chew & seemed to not be as fresh as other skewer selections.

Came here with my friends for dinner. We ordered a lot of food because we ate with our eyes while doing it lol. We had lamb kebobs, beef kebobs, beef tongue, pork belly wrapped in scallops, pork belly wrapped in asparagus, pork belly wrapped in enoki, squid, and chicken gizzard. One great thing is that the servers will help cook the skewers for you - just ask! They periodically come check the skewers for you but don't hesitate to ask them to help cook as well as check if they are properly cooked. Also they have good side dishes which reminded me a lot like korean bbq restaurants and they gave us a complimentary cheese corn. It was probably because we ordered so much lol The chili powder they have makes all the meat really tasty. We asked for more! Do prepare that this place will cost a bit of money if you are not coming here during their happy hour which is only during the weekday. The skewers are only $1 each (with a minimum)! I recommend coming during that time to be worth it.

Yummy BBQ in Rowland Heights. All BBQ’s price are reasonable. Their corn cheese’s portion is too small with $11. Overall good!

Cool spot for skewers and good drink specials. To be able to try a lot of items I recommend coming with a group.
