Finally got the chance to come back for more! My family and I have been coming to this place for their specialty, pork buns! Food 5 Stars - We've tried just about all their varieties of buns and our fav are the Pork Buns and Nappa & Pork Buns! Service 4 Stars - Just about every time I've been here, they're always busy! But they do seem to have a good system going, even when there's a long line you never feel like you had to wait long unless you needed to wait for the next new batch of whatever your heart desired to order for your taste to be ready! Ambiance 4 Stars - Nothing fancy but I appreciate that this place is kept clean! Parking 2 Stars - Parking is always a difficult one bc there is a supper market plus additional shops, simply not enough parking spaces to accommodate all shops here!

These stuffed bao Zi buns are the most legit copies of what I remember my grandmother making at home. Thin in the bun breading, with juicy meaty center, love love love. I'll def be coming back. My mom bought a box - 9 of the house special for $11.99, cabbage and pork is $13.99, preserved cabbage and pork is $15.99. My personal favorite is the house special, but mom liked all three. Easy and quick take away process. $20 minimum for credit card.

Today I had a craving to get some bao buns. I ordered egg and chives bao buns. They cost $17.00! I'm so shocked because I got them last year for way less. The baos are kinda dry and as good as before.

Friend recommended this place. Finally, I ordered some over the phone and went in to pick it up. Bought two containers of bao zi. Pretty yummy! Kids enjoyed it. Didn't last two days.

Our go to bao zi store in Los Angeles. I really like this shop bc it's a pretty straightforward operation. You pick the type of baos from the menu board. Then you pay and then collect your baos. Since the pandemic, they have raised their prices quite a bit but I guess that's due to inflation. For two boxes of baos, it costs about $30 so you can use credit card bc it hits their min. The store appears very clean. Our family loves these baos and they get eaten up pretty fast.

I purchased a box of pork bun from this restaurant (it named Sunny Dumpling House/XG Restaurant/Lee's Bao zi). I randomly ate one bun and noticed there was something textured like “eggshell,” but I didn’t take it seriously and swallow them in. After that, I had a second bun, felt the same texture, and swallow. Until I bit a hard piece, I thought was a rock and spat it out. What I found was a piece of broken glass and it was bitten into two pieces. After a while, I felt some discomfort in my throat so I asked my husband took me to urgent care. The doctor ordered a neck x-ray and told me if she found something usual, she would call me.When I back home, she called me and asked me to go Emergency directly. I was sent into the emergency room because of abnormal results and foreign body in the throat. After examinations, I did upper GI endoscopy(EGD) to make sure there was nothing scratch or cut my throat, esophagus, and stomach. Fortunately, I was the lucky one, but the recovery after the procedure (under anesthesia) was very painful and took many days to get well. I am safe and recovered now. Please avoid this restaurant. They’re not responsible for their food. They told me they checked the kitchen there was no way to let pieces of glass into the bun. However, one staff said maybe it’s the glass bottle of fermented bean curd because the lid is always tied so they will hit the lid to let air in.The owner and manager of the restaurant still refuse to admit this matter is their responsibility. Does it mean they don’t need to take any responsibility for taking out food? Very disappointed. My husband and I purchased buns for many years, but won’t go to this restaurant for any consumption anymore.

That's the worst buns I ever had, the meat is really bad quality, not fresh, only up to $30 can use card, excuse me? I think they doesn't worth the money 非常难吃,馅尝起来只有点甜味,很奇怪,肉也不新鲜

This' my go-to place for steamed buns. The quality of the baos are pretty consistent, I love the chewiness of the dough and the fillings are flavorful. My favorites are the pork, chicken mushroom and veggie (chive & egg) baos. Tips: Go around noon time that's when all the baos are fresh out of the steamers. Order ahead for the pork baos, since it tends to sell out quickly. Bring cash, they only take credit card with $30+ purchase.

Pretty rude service. The shop seemed to not care about customers at all. Support credit card payment over $30, which is very suspicious in terms of tax evasion.
