This is the best Japanese restaurant in Leiden, and most likely one of the best of Netherlands. The Fantasy menu shows all the talent of the cook. Congratulations for such a high level of quality ?!

The restaurant is a bit hard to find. Although we enjoyed the sushi and the gyoza a lot, the ambiance was off. The ambiance and the quality of the food does not match properly. The sitting area is a bit small and not well vantilated.

We ate here every time we had a sushi craving since there were not many sushi restaurants in the area. This meant we ate here a lot. We would usually have their bento box lunch or the rolls. The food was nothing exciting, but it was decent. The fish was not the freshest we have had, but it was okay. We have not returned in a long time.

Sad, I hear this place is now closed with a For Lease sign posted in the window =( Yuki Sushi is (was) a reasonable Korean sushi restaurant that I used to hit for lunch. Although prices have gone up a few times in the last few years, the food was a reasonable value and was a great escape from Hong-Kongnese food everyday. They give you a lot of complimentary starters and treats throughout your meal (oooh, TNT!!). Although I often got their bento box lunch they were good but not great...My favorite dish there was ironically their bibimbap (a korean dish of rice mixed with fish and other goodness). ------ Side note -- I do not believe this Yuki Sushi is at all related to the Yuki Sushi in OC.

According to Yelp, Yuki Sushi now resides at the former home of Kichi House (0 reviews)... Came here for lunch (after driving by the first Japanese restaurant we were planning on going to and finding out it was closed) Friend ordered a bento box (with sashimi, tempura, ca roll). I ordered the volcano and another roll... Eh... I'd say the food was average. Didn't "wow" me... but didn't disappoint either. Prices were average ~$8-$10/roll, bento was ~$10. There doesn't seem to be many choices around the Rowland/DB/Walnut area when it comes to Japanese... so I guess if I was in the area I could see myself coming back.
