Well, it was a fantastic ride but a recent visit suggests our little slice of heaven is no more. Locked doors, covers on the windows, even the name removed from the door. If it is true that Alejandro's is no more, I'm greatly saddened. My friend says it's hard to hit the three things needed for a successful restaurant: fast, cheap and good. Alejandro's did (does) all three, each and every visit. If this is the end, then it's just another nail in the coffin of what was becoming a very interesting food scene in Sacramento. All hail Alejandro's, and hope one day you return.

Simple setting for classic Mexican street eats including breakfast burritos, served at a counter. This is the spot to go to for breakfast, brunch, and lunch as they close early in the afternoon. There may be lunch rushes, but the service here is super quick. Staff is super friendly here. Great consistency and the items are very affordable. Recommended lunch for any state workers or anyone working in downtown pretty much.

I love Alejandro's Taqueria. I've been going here for almost 3 years for lunch and their super burritos are really good. The owners are very nice too!

Ordered a Chorizo breakfast burrito with egg, cheese and potatoes. Was disappointed at just how little Chorizo and potatoes there were. 80% egg, 8% cheese, 10% potatoes and 2% Chorizo. Did the job but didn't meet flavor expectations. I had to ask if they prepared the correct order. Cashier was very nice

This is a great place, there are many plates to choose. The environment is nice because I feel like a classic mexican Taqueria. I remembered my favorite taqueria in Downtown of Mexico city. Manager is kindly and He always has a good face for serving. I loved this place and I would like to come back again very soon.

Great place, great service, great food! I always get the carne asada tacos, they always ask if you'd like complimentary chips and salsa. Best thing bout this place is they always give me a whole lime for my tacos :D They're speedy even during the lunch rushes too !
