12-10-20 Happy Chanukah! Drove "all the way across town" to Whole Foods, hoping to score cooked brisket in the prepared foods section. Alas, even though the store has a pre-order Chanukah meal option noted on their website, there's no cooked brisket available in the store, not even as a prepared sandwich. Surprised to see the matzoh ball soup nutrition label showing 4700mg sodium. I hope that's an error! Ah well, no rest for the weary; this year, I'll have to make my own Chanukah meal from scratch. This store reminds me of the Manhattan Whole Foods, there are about 75% paid shoppers roaming the aisles and bagging groceries. It's a whole new world! I scanned my Prime membership upon checkout, but did not have one item that was discounted! My goal of shopping the sales just did not pan out at Whole Foods this time.

I only use Amazon fresh to shop at Whole Foods. The few times I've attempted to shop at this location it's been less than welcoming. I don't like being followed as if I'm stealing so ... I placed an Amazon order at 4:02pm today. It's been updated as of 7:30pm as " being packed" and it's now 10:05pm and outside of the delivery window. Not only am I hungry and on my moon, I don't have a safe working vehicle to go to a store to pick up the essential staples I needed. Because of my arthritis and chronic body pains, I sorta rely on these services when too much movement is not possible. Yeah it's a magic thing to even have food delivered to the door. I am safe and warm and although kinda down and out, I'm way better off than so many... still whole food, what in the actual f'? It's been 6 hours: there's a driver on standby to deliver the order and as I'm writing this... the order has been canceled on the Whole Foods end. FK Smh. So now, it's not looking like I'm going to be eating tonight. Thanks for the shitty experience. I feel pretty d*** and lightheaded relying on your obviously lazy asses. At least my dog has food.

I visit Whole Foods periodically for grocery item selections that aren't found elsewhere. I love their cheese selections, baked goods, organic brands, meat counter, beer selections, teas, fruits. Sure, their prices are generally slightly higher but I've never been disappointed with the groceries I've purchased on my numerous visits. I do miss their hot foods counter by the pound (gone because of the pandemic) because I liked seeing the different foods and it served as a quick choice for lunch on rare occasions. The staff are generally friendly and helpful whenever I needed something or had questions. The store is huge with plenty of aisle-space, selections galore, and no shortage of parking spaces. The holiday seasons are especially fun to visit Whole Foods as there are awesome things you can't find in-store anywhere else in Sacramento except here. The panettone from This Is From Roy is a shiny example of one reason to visit: these fantastic Italian masterpieces can be ordered on-line directly from This Is From Roy (the larger size) but the instant gratification upon shopping at Whole Foods is great!

I am disappointed because we originally reserve a 10 lb. boneless rib roast that was advertised for 14.99 per pound for pick up before Thanksgiving. I revised it to 5 lb. before the cut off day. I even got a confirmation in my email. We understand that there will be a little bit of adjustment because of the actual weight of the meat. So estimated price will be 75.00 more or less. When my husband picked the meat up, both he and the cashier didn't pay attention that they never revised the order to the correct volume. he was going to be charged 200.00 plus. He questioned the cashier, as he was only expecting to pay for 75.00. Both of them didn't look at my confirmation email that it was for a 5 lb. rib roast. The cashier made an adjustment and only charged him for 100.00. I know he got home with 5lb extra meat, but we were not expecting 25.00 more from our Thanksgiving budget.

Had the rudest customer service experience with the young woman answering the phone. Her attitude and tone coupled with the aggressive words coming out of her mouth are such obvious indicators this woman does not belong in the customer service sector. That's deterrent enough for me to steer clear of the store and do my holiday grocery shopping elsewhere! How unfortunate. What has become of you, Whole Foods?!

I had the worst customer service today. Tanisha is a cashier who I frequently see working at the Arden location WF. She is always SO rude. I try to avoid her. Unfortunately I was stuck having to use her lane. When I told her that I had forgot something and would quickly grab the item...she had so much attitude about it. Was the attitude necessary? Kind words and a good attitude go a LONG way. I get it...I am living through the pandemic too! I can't imagine I am the only customer who has noticed her behavior...probably the first one saying something. Needless to say I will continue to avoid her!

I am a regular customer, but about one week ago, there was a young woman behind me at the cashier, not following social distancing and not wearing a mask. I felt vulnerable as a senior. I complained to the cashier and she said she could not do anything. I called the store today and spoke to the manager. He said that if someone says they have a medical condition, they cannot do anything about people not wearing masks. I would think that if you do have a medical condition you should wear a mask to protect yourself. I'm wondering if this is a false claim, with people being defiant and following some people in our current administration who do not wear masks? COVID 19 is at an all time high, so maybe I will consider going to a grocery store that is looking out for their customers and is more reassuring.

The plaza in which this WF is located in is unassuming. The exterior of the WF sign looks modern but upon entering in, i was disappointed with the lack of selection for dinner on a Friday night.

Standing in line to be served the cashier still help other customers who were walking by instead the people waiting in line. Two cashiers ignored the waiting line of customers what's the point of having a waiting line Whole Foods?

Wow I am currently still in the store standing here dumbfounded at how rude the girl at the coffee bar just acted. It's 4pm and I see her serving coffee to a gentleman that works at Whole Foods so I get in line behind him. She makes eye contact with me and without saying anything slides a sign to the edge of the counter clearly to make a statement. The sign had the hours of the coffee bar stating it closed at 3pm. She goes back to serving this guy and after he left I get to the counter asked if they were still serving. She said yes, but only to team members. That was the end of the conversation she ignored me and turned to talk to the employees. It makes zero sense that you can serve employees in front of your customers and turn away PAYING customers. If you want people to keep coming back to this location I would focus on how your team members behave.

Whole Foods is great when you're looking for organic, high quality groceries. They have a large produce section and tons of fresh meat in the butchery. I love that they have so many different alcoholic beverage to choose from. They definitely support many small brand and Sacramento to alcohol companies. Their sandwich counter inside the store is the best!! They have delicious meat and a huge variety of veggies (my fave) to put on your sandwich. You can choose one of their sandwiches or you can create your own. Yum!

There is no concern for social distancing. They are "limiting" the amount of people that enter the store, but are not counting the prime shoppers that have the run of the place. It was so difficult and scattering to try and grocery shop with all of the prime shoppers, I would be hard pressed to try and shop here as a regular customer again.

As convenient as it gets during the COVID pandemic. Simply order through amazon prime and then pickup curbside. Highest quality foods, broadest selection of organics. You pay a premium, but well worth it. I do miss going into the store and selecting my own food, but safety first!

Going to Sprouts near Fulton And Marconi for fresh produce from now on. The quality and availability has gone down since Amazon bought them.

With delivery in California, I was shorted lots of produce, but charged for it anyway, for example 1 pound of grapes when I paid for two, 2 oz of snap peas when I paid for 1 pound. etc. Also, they gave me a quart of milk instead of a half gallon. what a mess. When I called, they kindly replaced all the missing produce and a bit more. But whew! what a lot of work to figure out what was missing, etc. I wonder if the delivery person ate some of the produce?
