UPDATED BECAUSE owner responded- Caught her no glove finger fucking the to go order I placed. Didn't eat the sandwich got to grossed out. She put gloves on for the next sandwich as soon as I caught her literally breaking a health code violation It's okay for women to do this in 2023?!! VALERIA/- why did she put gloves on as soon as I walked in? Definitely not clean. You know damn well her hands were not cleaner than gloves lol You're charging too much to not wear gloves when you're touching my food come on man!

Great sandwiches, great happy hour, and love the patio in back when the weather is nice! Perfect spot to chill in midtown and not break the bank. Recommended!

I have been going to beach hut on J street for years now... I have always had the best customer service and the best sandwiches... I mean yes are the sandwiches $15 yes but they are huge and filled with cream cheese and so much meat... today I finally got the worst sandwich ... I always get the shark bite... I know whats exactly in that sandwich... so today it wasn't toasted... missing cream cheese... no Tabasco .... No bbq... missing everything that belongs on the sandwich... it was white bread , ham, cheese and lettuce and one tomato that's all and was the flattest sandwich I have ever seen... only reason I spend $30 on two sandwiches is because they are loaded!!! Nope both our sandwiches were bad I posted pics for reference.... Of course I called and told them they messed up ... and of course the girl who made my sandwich is in training... and they didn't offer for me to come back and have it remade...but they should check it before serving it to guest... again my sandwich was $15.. anyways I guess after going there for 5+ years being a downtown local... next stop K street beach hut deli hope they don't disappoint like J street did

I was thrilled to find out they offer gluten-free bread here. I got the Hobie sandwich to-go. This sandwich, with its mix of salami, pastrami, provolone, and Italian dressing, was simple elegance. Can't believe I've been missing out on this gem. Used to think Beach Hut was a splurge, but given that restaurants are expensive everywhere in Sacramento these days, their deliciousness is worth every penny.

Love their sandwiches and salads. Huge. They do not Skimp on the avocado on the sandwiches. I swear they probably use close to a whole avocado on a sandwich. Ingredients are super fresh and good quality. Fast service and good selection for vegetarians as well as meat lovers. Patio is nice and parking lot right next door as well as street parking.Vegetarian options: Great choices, sandwiches are huge and the options are beyond your regular cheese sandwich offered at most places ..highly recommend

I didn't realize Beach Hut Deli was a chain. I visited a location in Huntington Beach and really enjoyed their sandwiches so I was excited to see one in Sacramento.

I live in midtown and I have ordered from this location two days in a row with issues both times. The first issue was their internet wasn't working so they weren't able to see/make your order until you got there. I thought ok, things happen- my sandwhich was delicious! So today, I ordered from them again. My order said it would be done at 7:26 PM. My boyfriend arrives there and the gentleman working there said he was behind on orders and my sandwhich won't be done until 8 PM. My sandwhich wasn't finished until 8:15 PM. I understand things happen, but after two issues with both my orders the last two days- I won't be returning. I love their food, it's always a consistent but I will be finding another location to frequent.

Beach Hut will always be one of my favorite sandwiche spots!! The owner has been with the company for a long time and her staff always greet you with open arms and a cold beer! I would tell you my sandwich but it's off the menu. 10/10 best sandwich in Sacramento as well as catering! Thank you!!

Phoned in a pickup order last night. I ordered the 12 inch Hobie, not knowing the price. My thought was how much can a 12" sub really cost? Well...$22.00 is how much. I walked home with the sub thinking this had better be the best damn sandwich I've ever sunk my teeth into. It wasn't, not even close...maybe a tick above subway, maybe. Someone please explain how a pickup 12" basic ass sub can cost $22.00? Seriously. I'm being very generous with the 2 stars.
