Disappointed with the new owners. Used to visit this location 1-2x/week and don't think we will be back. They have significantly reduced the amount of meat they put in their sandwiches. This is the same reason we don't visit the J street location either. If we pay a premium for a sandwich, I expect it to look somewhat close to the ads. Thank goodness the West Sac location is still good!

The Woody was good but the bread it comes with was terrible. The sandwich needs a stronger bread to support all the sauce. Not to mention the location and parking suck.

Came in the middle of the day on a Thursday around 1230pm & they were closed. No lights on, doors locked, chairs on top of tables, & no sign on the door saying they were closed or why. Took my business to Subway instead. Whatever the reason it was closed today, SOMEBODY could've put a sign on the door at the very least, or called someone to do that & maybe update Google maps saying its temporarily closed.

Great food, pretty high price tag. If one sandwich and a beer for $25 sounds good to you, then definitely give it a try!

Sorry to hear this one is closing. I've never been there and didn't know it existed. I have enjoyed the other locations.

Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this location. We ordered two sandwiches 15 minutes after placing the order they brought one sandwich out to us and told us that the meat for the other sandwich was still frozen and It would be another 15 to 20 minutes before it would be ready. We ordered a different sandwich and I was basically done with my sandwich before my husband even got his. There were no napkins in the napkin holders and there were no lemon for the ice tea just an empty bucket of which appeared to be very murky water. The tables were sticky and we had to ask to have them cleaned off when. When I received my sandwich, it was basically cold and overloaded with mustard. The bill for two sandwiches and 2 Small bags of chips was $40. I am extremely disappointed in the quality of service and food. I will never be back to this establishment again.

I've been to several Beach Hut locations, I enjoy the oak Grove location at least once every couple weeks but this location on Folsom boulevard sucks. I've given them to chances and both times the sandwich was extremely skimpy on meat. I ordered the $14 Spiccoli there was half a piece of cheese, one slice of turkey and half a slice of bacon. Completely different everywhere else so I won't be back!
I'll have a Moon Doggie and a Racer 5, please. We're out of Racer 5.Ok, make it a Numb Numb Juice. We're out of that, too. Our board needs to be updated.Hot dog was mostly bun. I remember when Beach Hut was good.

I just finished the BEST pastrami Rueben I’ve ever had which says volumes for this pastrami lover. It’s called the “Righteous Rueben”, served on toasted garlic bread & packed full of very Lean, tasty pastrami, cheese, nice well drained sauerkraut that didn’t make the bread soggy, yummy kosher pickle slices & thousand island dressing. It was about 2 “ thick & just a tasty, well constructed sandwich which I will order again & again.

I just picked up the worst sandwich from this location. I have been a loyal customer since it was beach house deli off of Douglas blvd 22 years ago. $54 for 2 poorly made sandwiches from J street location . Lane. When they're made correctly they're one of the best sandwiches around. My surfn bird Ive been ordering for over 20 years came out like a subway sandwich. Bummer. Not sure I will be back to this location

Prices for things have been raising everywhere and beach hut deli is no exception. Except their prices have always been too high in my opinion and I’m a former employee! The quality has gone down, at least at this location. I didn’t finish my $15 sandwich that I specifically ordered a small of. Now I need a new sandwich place.

Ordered two Mesa salads for takeout. Got them home and discovered several things were wrong. One had mixed greens - supposed to be romaine. One had ranch dressing - supposed to be blue cheese. Only one had cheese and both had wilted lettuce and room-temp dressings because I'm betting they weren't refrigerated after they were made before they were picked up. Also, these salads used to be huge - plenty to make a meal; these were not. If it hadn't been 106 degrees out, I would have taken them back. Too bad - this BH used to be a sure bet. Probably won't return.
