Was feeling some late breakfast so me and my brother in law drove out to try this place. I have been hearing good things and wanted to see for myself. Careful you might miss the cafe when driving cause the place does not really stand out. When we arrived the place had a very humble exterior, to say the least, and similar interior design. It didn't look too busy when we arrived but had to wait 5 minutes for a table. They seemed understaff as there was quite a lot of room but only a limited amount of tables available, about 10 to 12 tables I think. They had a breakfast lunch menu which we decided to get three of our favorites. Ms. Eggs Benny, chicken and waffles, and kimchi fried rice with bulgogi added. The benny and chicken took a while to make so the kimchi came out first. It was the highlight of our meal. It tasted a little spicy and crunchy with the pickled veggies and having the meat added satisfaction to seal the deal. The eggs benny was good but they over cooked the egg so it wasn't runny which was disappointing. The chicken and waffles was delicious but I wished the chicken was juicer. It was seasoned nice and crunchy. The waffle was soft, buttery, and crispy perfect yum! We also got refillable drinks Arnold Palmer, a half lemonade half ice tea yay! Me and my brother enjoyed our meal at this humble establishment and it was quiet, spacious, and relaxing. Some interesting things we noticed is there were a lot of army personnel here because the cafe is located near a military facility; thought that was cool. I am glad to see Sacramento getting more breakfast options. This place has a unique mixture of asian and american options for breakfast and lunch. Overall I think this place will keep getting better with time. So don't just judge this book by its cover and old pages it has great story to tell with some delicious surprises waiting for you. Hope you can enjoy this place soon Yelppies. Be safe!

Great food. I especially love the chicken and waffles. Nice family run business. Very quiet relaxed environment.

I been coming here for a while now and the food is always amazing but I gave this place 3 stars based on their wait time. Do not come here if you are in a rush or have limited time because you will be waiting for about an hour for your food. While I was there today I seen many people walk out due to the wait time and I was getting ready to walk out as well. It should not take almost an hour for biscuits and gravy to be made! Now I will say the customer service has been good but they need to hire help immediately or they are going to continue to lose business based off how long it takes them to take your order and prepare your food.

I recently worked with Sehyon for my baby shower brunch and I am amazed with his easy going and professional communication. He was very flexible and also made sure I got exactly what I asked for. The quality of the food was excellent. I ordered pancakes, French toast, sac king and bulgogi sandwiches, along with some side salads. My favorite is the French Toast. Delicious! And I must also mention that my order was on time! I had a great experience working with this cafe. I will definitely work with this cafe again. Thank you, Sehyon!

It was so good! Large portions, very tasty, and good price. Highly recommend the Buff Belly Breakfast, Breakfast Fried Rice, and French Toast! The atmosphere was very calm and chill, with great service, and nice employees. You should definitely try this place sometime, it is also local!

This place is so underated! Me and my bf decided to give it a try for the first time today even though we both not a breakfast person. The food here was so good to be true and the price should been higher to match the quality of the food. We would come back here more often to try the other items on their menu. Their customer service was really good also!!!

This food is outstanding, the waitress Mindy is extremely good at her job. If you really want something that’s excellent try the buttermilk Café

The food is quite good and portions are large. Service can be a little faster but the work staff is very pleasant.

The food was yummy, the service was friendly, and the prices were almost too reasonable. I got a basic breakfast with two over-medium eggs, bacon, potatoes, and subbed a waffle instead of a bread. The eggs were cooked perfectly and the waffle was sweet, fluffy, tasted wonderful, and looked very pretty on the plate. They were pretty busy and the server/hostess was working very hard. I would say having an extra person to help out might be worth the extra cost, but I also know that good help is hard to find.I will definitely return. I would like to try a burger or sandwich next time.

Definitely a small somewhat hole in the wall type of place but very popular for those that know of it. Seating fills up quick so I recommend going earlier before families start piling in.

Service was fast and friendly. Prices were very good. The decor is a bit outdtated and could use some sprucing up, but the food was good. I had their breakfast special and the food portions were good. I also tried their hot wings, very good and I like the hot sauce that comes with it. It is on a noisy corner, but they do have an outside patio. It is situated in a fairly remote, industrial location, but I bet workers in the area appreciate that it is where it is. I would eat there again, the food was hot and tasty. A lot of people did come in while we were there, so it appears to be well-known.

The GPS took us on a wild goose chase. We were thrilled when we found this place. They have there own parking lot and it's in an industrial area. When we arrived we were greeted by a sign. I can't remember the exact wording, but it went to the effect. I'm the only one here today, please be patient. Reading that sign kind of make me go ohhh no. We'll never make it to work in time. To my shock and happiness, things didn't skip a beat. We were seated at a table, given menus and offered drinks. She came back with drinks and asked for our orders. I requested the mochi waffles. The description got me. Our amazing waitress informed me that it would take 30 minutes. I'm going to have to try them another time. I ended up ordering a great mushroom, sun dried tomatoes, and mushroom omelet, topped with avocado, a fruit cup and English mushroom. Delicious. It was enough for breakfast and lunch. My girlfriend ordered the biscuits, gravy, eggs, bread of her choice and bacon. She could have chosen one of a whole slew of meat choices. It was shocking the choices. All was delicious. I would return and next time I'm getting the mochi waffles. The best part of the experience aside from the delicious food and big portions. The pleasant waitress and fast service. You have to try this place.

I love this place. The food is good, the give large portions and they have a nice range of options. I've had the waffle with blueberries and the house potatoes and I have no complaints.
