When I visit the colonial theatre for any reason I always look forward to the cafe. A friendly barkeep, creative(and cheap) cocktails, an eclectic beer selection, and a fun alternative vibe, an absolutely top tier watering hole.
Great place to check out certain genres of music. It's mostly considered a punk venue but it does diverge from time to time. The Cafe serves great fries and other bar food. They have wine "cocktails" that are in the 20-22% range but they do not serve hard alcohol here. They have beer on tap and in the bottle. The room where music is played is intimate and can be a bit loud so bring ear plugs. If you're into supporting local businesses and local bands, patronize this establishment....read full review

Very nice place and great atmosphere. Came with my daughter and her friend to listen to some bands. They are both in their teens, and as a father, feel comfortable for them to be here. Good people, good music. Great night. Thank you everyone at the Colonial and the awesome bands that played. Hellfire was tight!!!!!
