Dietary restrictions: They are very accommodating for dietary restrictions. I’m gluten free. My boyfriend is dairy free. Every time we eat hear there are always options and sometimes they can make things specifically to meet our dietary restrictions. They also have the best gelato and sorbet.

I came into the area for work and after searching for places that checked our boxes, I found Camden Spit and Larder. I wanted good food and drinks, vegetarian and vegan for my sister in law and fish dishes for my brother who can't eat red meat anymore. CS&L didn't disappoint and was wonderful. We made it for the last bit of happy hour ... eat the deviled eggs... and then had dinner. Wonderful place, great food and cocktails, great service... We couldn't have asked for anything more!

We had two couple and the service was fast and detailed and the server really knew her dishes (by heart). The food was fresh and tasty. I had the sea bass and beet salad and everyone had rave reviews.

One of my favorite restaurants in Sacramento. We all have bad days, luckily the foods was still great, with the exception of the oysters which appeared to be thrown on the tray, no utensils either. Service was the worst I've experienced there, long wait time to order drinks, took our food before we were finished, missing utensils, etc. there appeared to be a birthday party in the large room next door, and I'll give them the benefit of the doubt that this was the main cause.

The food was mediocre at best. And crazily overpriced. The drinks.....suffice to say what I ordered was not what I got. Very unappealing drinks. We had asked early on what the dessert was and they gave us a list, but nobody ever came back at any point in time and asked if we wanted to order dessert ....so we gave up. When we were ready to pay our bill, nobody came by . we waited and waited and waited with our credit card on the table and finally had to Hail down Staff to take our credit card. The wait staff seemed far more interested in each other than in any of the customers. I won't be back.

Great options for those who are vegan/vegetarian or with food sensitivities. Our server was very helpful and offered to check with the chef about substitutions. The food was delicious.

We had not been here in 2 years because last time the service was bad. Decided to give it a try again. Food was good, lots of choices on the menu. We tried the oysters and Caesar salad. The mains were great as well- had the pasta special, the vegetarian polenta and salmon. Everything was delicious. The negative experience came from the service again. Our waitress was MIA most of the evening. Other staff dropped off the food and bolted. No check in to see how things were. We wanted to order a bottle of wine to have with our meal but nobody ever came back to our table so never was ordered. Oh well, we'll save our $$ and I guess less tip for the server. All in all, I would say we left feeling lukewarm about our experience. For the price I think we'll go to Ella's where the service is much better.

The sea bass lacked flavor and was overcooked. My significant other had the salmon and his was overcooked as well and lacked flavor. Don't order the fish, I've had other great meals there.

Very simply one of the better meals I've had in the city. After a rough day of meetings, this beautifully decorated meal was my reward. From the lovely bread (with homemade whipped butter?) to the cauliflower au gratin (Mac and cheese that doesn't get soggy) to the short rib, everything was perfect. There was a party coming in after me so I made sure I was in and out in under an hour and loved all 57 minutes of it.

Having been here multiple times tonight wasn’t as good. Starters, tuna tartare and cheese plate were excellent as were the complimentary “Yorkshire puddings” that are served as bread. Mains were a big let down. Both our salmon and sea bass were overcooked, sea bass portion was small, lacked any real flavor profile and lacked the gnocchi and scallops that we were supposed to come with it. Service was solid but we were reminded several times that there was an event in the golden one center so we had to finish our meals in a center time, once is understandable, several times takes away from the experience

The food was delicious, though on the heavier side. The atmosphere is so charming and fun. The staff were sweet and attentive. A+! I would definitely recommend and will be going back again soon.

The ambiance and service were good. Two of us ordered the sea bass. It was overcooked - dry and tough. (never had such tough fish) The sauce was OK, and the scallops in the sauce were good. Were those tater tots in the sauce? Could have used more sauce to mitigate the dryness of the fish. The polenta, ordered by one person, was better but still not great. Chocolate tart for dessert. The pastry was hard as a rock and very thick. Could have used a steak knife to cut it. The small amount of chocolate in it was good.
