Great seafood baskets coming out of this hole in the wall. I will usually get some type of fish and chips with some oysters which comes fried and are really good. Everything is nice and crispy. They have homemade tartar and a nice spicy cocktail sauce. The atmosphere score I gave is only because there's like 5 tables so it's pretty small. It's not a bad place to be. I found them through door dash and it's 7 or 8 miles away from me still coming fresh so they pack it right. They even have a yummy burger.Parking: You won't need much parking lol it's a tiny strip of hole in the walls.

Had the bacon cheese burger meal. The service was quick, and the burger was good/ average. The fries were great. The staff was very kind.I also took some oysters to-go and ate them later at home, and they were good too. Keep in mind that the oysters are not raw; the meat is out of the shell and then breaded and deep fried. Served with a slightly spicy oyster sauce, which was good.I would come back here for the classic burgers and fries.

Update: it was terrible and trying to change the stars and it won’t let me. I would give them 1 star on everything cause you have to give at least one but really it’s zero.. Took two dinners to my parents , 1 meal with 2 pieces and another with 3 pieces of fish. Both my parents got so sick about an hour after they ate. Chocolate shakes were as thin as chocolate milk and this is after a conversation with the employee and her telling me she also likes thick chocolate shakes also and has sent them back because they were like milk. Needless to say we won’t be back. There’s gotta be more then one Fish and Chips in Sacramento. Used to be so good here but can’t take the chance of getting my 90 year old parents sick again.

Been coming here even before it was "PJ's" But they've kept up the great service, and the food is still amazing. Portions are generous, which is lucky since I don't fill easy.Since becoming Pj's they have started a 'Loyalty card' of sorts. After visiting and purchasing 5 meals, you get the 6th free. (So long as the 6th meal is equal or lesser value than one that's been noted on the card)Love their fish and chips. Their coleslaw is excellent, and their tartar sauce tastes homemade(maybe it is?)Parking can be a bit iffy, with the businesses around it and the small lot, but usually I don't have a problem with finding a spot to get my food to-goI Look forward to coming here for the foreseeable future, and trying new things from the menu.Parking: In front of building, shares spaces with other businesses in same strip.

Honest to goodness Fish and Chips place. Perfect batter and prep. Fried perfectly. Just a little strip mall storefront place with 4-5 tables. Reminded me of a little place on west side of Glasgow.

My fish and chips craving hit once again and I wanted to try a new place and Yelp recommended PJ's so we have it a shot. The parking situation is ok, it's a small lot and if Round Table next door is busy, I can see parking being a pain. We, however had no issues. Inside looks very much like a diner. Checkered tile floors, they have milkshakes and play oldies. The lady at the counter addressed us immediately and offered friendly conversation. She told us this place took over new ownership about 18 months ago, if I heard her correctly. We had a fairly large order, we got the seafood platter, 3 piece fish n chips, 2 orders of the 2 piece fish n chips, fried zucchini, jalapeño poppers and a strawberry milkshake. This all came to about $72, which honestly isn't that bad when compared to other places. Food took about 15 minutes to make, which isn't bad at all considering he was also making quite a few door dash orders at the same time. When our order was ready we watched him double check everything to make sure everything was there. We got to the car and realized there was no malt vinegar, which is a must for me, so I had to go back inside to get that. Once home, we were pleasantly surprised with size of the fish! These were long, well sized pieces of fish with a nice crispy batter and best part, not greasy! The fish they use is Alaskan pollock and it was juicy and flakey. Fries were a little blah for me, just your typical frozen crinkle cut fries. The fried zucchini was bomb. Large chunks and once again, that nice and crunchy batter. They tasted like cardoni's (if your Italian you'll know what I mean). The jalapeño poppers were good also. Sauces were a little off for me. The tartar sauce was more like a watery dressing that smelled like onion and had a sweet taste. Cocktail sauce looked almost like marinara sauce and had minimal flavor. The malt vinegar was what I believe to be the Heinz brand and it just wasn't the level of flavor I was hoping for. Overall though it's a pretty decent spot. The size of the fish and the price point alone is enough to come back when that craving hits again.

Excellent fish and chips. The batter for the fish is very light almost like tempura and is delicious. I highly recommend going there.
