The food at Centro is consistently excellent; the service above average. Some servers are particularly observant and volunteer creative options—for example, for vegetarians. Drinks are well-tendered, tasty, and strong. If you want something a cut above your standard TexMex around Sacramento, go here!We really miss the one and only Patrick who retired! He was irreplaceable but we hope to run into him in other contexts!

I ordered 2 burritos(asada & pollo) with no rice and they put rice on. I don’t know if the cashier/host understands the difference. The taste of the asada was better than the chicken one.

One of my favorite Mexican places in sac! Come here so often and everyone I bring here ends up really liking it as well. Their fusion margaritas are delicious and their food is pretty authentic!

Authentic Mexican food, my fiancé and I went for my birthday! We loved it and the service was great. Pretty fast for a Saturday night too.

Just went to Centro for the first time & liked everything we tried. First of all, the location & atmosphere is nice. The staff was friendly helpful with recommendations. Pre-meal chips & salsa verde were great. I had the chorizo burrito with rice & black beans on the side—all great & made in-house. We tried four different types of tacos. Carne asada & pollo were the two best but they were all super good. No complaints & we will definitely return to try more from the menu!

Food came with cold tortillas, but the menu says hand-made? I expected warm, hand-made delicious torts but nah. Pescado was soggy and tbh...nothing really stood out except the $55 dollar bill for 4 tacos and two sparkling waters. Not going back

Amazing place for my first time visit. I've been in Sacramento most of my life and I've never stopped at this place until today. I was walking around with my daughter and decided to grab a bite before her nap time. I let the waitress know I only have 45 minutes she was on it and also very playful with my daughter. I appreciate her energy, the food was amazing. I really thought the plain white rice wouldn't be delicious. It tasted like butter so delicious that I think that's how I want to make my rice from now on. All of the food I tried was delicious fresh and did not taste like it was warmed up. I stopped here before 11 AM. I know they have a great brunch menu. I did not explore that yet and I will be back to do so I highly recommend you check this place out. It is beautiful inside and very cozy inside and out. The staff is what makes this place worth coming back, they treat you really well.

Amazing place, food is delicious. Atmosphere was very pleasant, perfect for a friends night out or a date. Lively but not loud. Service was great, our server was knowledgeable about the menu and all of their drinks. Again, food is so delicious. We’ve tried a lot of their dishes and they have not disappointed us, truly amazing.

My wife and I were on a date and decided to stop in. The place looked nice and we decided to give it a chance. This was our first time in this restaurant. Everything was fine at first, drinks were fine. Chips and salsa, not bad. We ordered fish, el pastor, and carnitas tacos. The fish tacos smelled very fishy, like old fish. I took one bite and decided not to finish it. My wife ate it because she didn't want to waste a 7 dollar taco and threw it up on the walk back to the car. The el pastor was way to sweet and we could eat that either. The carnitas was subpar and bland and lacked flavor. We spoke to the manager and he said he would refund our meal. 3 days later still no refund. I called and was put on hold for 20 min. I called back several times with no answer...I will definitely not be returning.
