Please read and be warned. NEGATIVE 1 STAR, since I can't give zero. I was looking for a Pho restaurant that was not crowded and drove by Chao Bay. I recall a coworker telling me, two years ago, this place had good food. My daughter and I were the only customers. The lady who served the food was rude and very impatient. I had a few questions about the size and type of Pho and she quickly said, "one size, you share" so I said ok. We got one bowl of pho and shared. The broth was a little sour like tomato soup, meat was stale and tough, beef bone was tough and tasted old. I didn't complain and silently told myself I will never return to this place. Upon paying, the lady tells me $12 cash only. I told her I only have $7 cash and wanted to pay with my debit card. I asked her why she didn't let me know that is was cash only and she ignored me. She said no because she didn't know how to use the register and that the manager is out shopping. I told her to call her boss and she kept making excuses and did not call her boss. I told her they have bad business and rummaged up extra change in my purse along with $7 I originally had and paid. I feel sick from the experience and the food. Good luck to you if you do go and I hope your experience will be much better than mine.

I knew it was a bad sign when the was empty when we walked in at around 1:30 pm, but we felt bad leaving. The waitress seemed like she didn't want to be there. The food was nothing to write home about. The owner was disorganized and not proficient with using technology to take payments. We came here because of the 4 star reviews but we were misled.

I went to this place bc it was a 4 star review, which was my minimal requirement to go to a restaurant. Very disappointed in the service and disgusted in their food. It wasn’t even that busy but my husband andI waited almost 30 mins for our dishes to be served. They only have 3 total people working there (2cooks,1 server). All workers’ hair were tied up messily, they looked like they just woke up. We only ordered 1 bowl of pho and 1 dry dish. The noodles were not fresh bc they broke off easily when we handled them with chopsticks. The broth flavor was just average. All veggies were partly dead. Upon putting the dry dish on the table, there was a hair in the dish and a hair in the sauce bowl (2 pieces of hair). Told the waitress and she took it away, brought me a new one but I feel sick after eating here. With all this, the sever checked me out even asked me to give them tips too! What an embarrassment, asking for tips when the service sucked. They need to up their dress code, manners, and pretty much everything. Don’t go here until things tidied up. This lunch ruined my whole day.

Gave this place a try. Arrived here mainly for Bun Dau Mam Tom and this dish didn't disappoint. We ordered: - A8. Bap Xao, stir fried corn with shrimp and butter: 4 out 5. Wish the corn was crispy. Keep in mind, the plate is huge. - their day special: Bun Cha Ha Noi. It was not authentic at all. The meat part was mostly grilled fat, there was no grilled meat patty. Sauce was more sour then salty-sweet. 2 out 5. If it was Sat special they could have put more efforts to it. - G1. Bun Dau Mam Tom. This was 5 out 5. Definitely recommending this! Tofu was crispy, meat items were delicious! Wish they put more lettuce. - C6. Bun Cha Ca. Husband said this one was good and very close to Nha Trang version of Bun Ca. 4 out 5. - C5. Bun Moc. Would rate this 3 out 5. The meat paste balls were good, I just don't understand the tofu in that soup. Didn't finish, because was too full.

I actually like the light colored broth of bun bo hue they have. Its the best one i had so far. Thier escargot appetizer is new to me. Also loved it. Waitress is awesome.

FOOD - Cha Gio Truyen Thong (Egg Rolls): ground pork, ground shrimp and taro. These were decent. My son loved them. 3.5/5 - Hu Tieu Dac Biet: rice noodles topped with ground pork, pork slices, quail eggs, shrimp, squid, green onions, and friend onions. This was okay. It could have used more sauce and the pork slices were dry. 3/5 - Bun Rieu Dac Biet: Vermicelli noodle soup with shrimp/pork balls, fried tofu, tomatoes, ground pork, green onions. This wasn't very good. It didn't taste like your traditional bun rieu. The rieu tasted off. 2.5/5 SERVICE: Our server was friendly. I ordered mi xao gion but she said it wasn't any good so I ordered the hu tieu instead. I thought that was weird, but I appreciate the honesty. She also got my friend's order wrong. 3/5 FINAL THOUGHTS: I don't think I'll be coming back. My meal wasn't great and I tasted my friends' and hers wasn't either.

Nice interior, friendly service, average food. Banh trang tron and chanh day (passion fruit) drink are good. Hu tieu ho nai and bun reu are average.

Everyone was very friendly and service was quick. We got complimentary ice pops at the end.

Came here for lunch with a few friends. Wanted to try to bun rieu since it looked pretty decent in the reviews. It wasn't bad but nothing special. The restaurant itself needs a good cleaning. Flies landing on the tables, sticky utensils left on each table, who knows if they're clean or not? Luckily they had some wrapped disposable chopsticks. Won't be coming back anytime soon.

Had some wonderful pork bún bò huế soup. Portions were generous and they use great quality ingredients. I could not have asked for a better place to celebrate my birthday.

This is my worst experience!!! I just bought three too, C1, C2 and C3, C2 didn't even give seasonal ong choy(water spinach) and pork blood cubes, it's been like this before, and the second time it's still missing something? Is this the way of doing business? I wouldn't give a star if I could!

C1. BÚN RIÊU ĐẶC BIỆT - the tomato broth was easy to drink and eat with the vermicelli noodles. The acid from tomato mixed in with a little housing sauce and Sriracha was a perfect combo. Very affordable price with a great taste.

Customer service is horrible!!! Also there menu price is not updated. They told a customer that the prices changed and charged them allot more! The funny thing was they gave us the same menu and I asked if this price is right. She said no...so what's the right price??? I don't have a menu with the right price. Ummm...ok.
