We arrived for our reservation but they filled up the patio with walk-ins before seating us. The only seating option then available was the upstairs patio. It was busy downstairs but we rarely saw wait staff venture upstairs. Drinks took a really long time and no napkins or utensils were provided despite several requests. The food finally arrived very cold and soggy. It had obviously been sitting for quite a while. One person received their food after everyone else had finished. One person was told that they could send back the cold, soggy food but it "probably wouldn't be any better next time". One person left hungry after eating only chips and salsa. I really wanted to love this Chevy's on the river but the food and service was very poor.

We've always loved coming to Chevy's, so this was a surprise. Everything was as expected, except some of the food. My food was good and I didn't eat any chips, so I wasn't aware of these problems until we left the restaurant. The chips were broken into such small pieces that you really couldn't dip the chip in the salsa or guacamole. My friend ordered steak fajitas. He should have sent it back, but he didn't. He said the meat wasn't seasoned well, it was overcooked, tough, and it had a lot of gristle. He also said that he didn't get any guacamole with his order which he thought came with the meal. I'm sorry he didn't give the server an opportunity to address his concerns, but he didn't and it unfortunately left a negative feeling about the experience.
Mikayla (server 109) was such a wonderful person with excellent service. Thank you for your hospitality. My party (traveling from Los Angeles) will be going back to Chevy's Sacramento Riverfront over and over again. Thank you, Mikayla and Chevy's.

Best experience by far, Makyla & Sidney are so wonderful!! All the managers are amazing they kept stopping in individually and asked how we were doing how the food was and making sure we had everything we needed. I couldn’t believe the service was so outstanding that alone has my support and I will continue to return to this location because of it. Makayla you are such a vibe and wonderful person you deserve a promotion and a raise!! Thank you staff for all you did for my family & making my mother’s birthday special!!Kid-friendliness: Kids loved the kid meal & the dessert that comes with it.

I had a good experience here! They were busy and still able to seat me quick enough! I had their chicken fajitas and they were good! Great service from the hostess to my server Albert too! I'd recommend trying this spot! It's a fun unique place with plenty of TV's to watch a game too!

Cool spot. I am in town every quarter and this is my go to spot. The bartenders Eva and Raquel are AWESOME. Since I travel quite a bit, I appreciate others who make me feel welcome. I always recommend to others I know to visit this location as they are amazing. Thanks Eva and Raquel!! By the way, how can you beat their Happy Hour? I don’t believe you can. You should definitely visit this place.
Every time I come here, I have a great experience! Angelita is my "go to" girl & always request to sit with her, if she's working. She makes sure to always take care of my picky orders so it's made correctly. All of the staff are friendly & the views are always beautiful. Definitely stop by Chevy's on the River if you're looking for great food, excellent service & relaxing views!

It was a servers first day , I believe her name was Drew . She was hands down excellent. We had quality service and she did everything possible to make us comfortable on a hot day . Thanks again !
Took almost an hour to get our food. Not sure if it was our server fault. But he seemed to be frustrated and overwhelmed. Kept having to ask him for simple things and he'd forget. Not the best experience there today.

Mikaela was the best! We had a big group dinner of 24 tonight and she was awesome, cheerful and so delightful. Food was delicious and all other services were excellent. Thanks for giving us such a fun experience!
