Good family restaurant, good service, good food, fair prices. Came in for lunch before heading back home and I was pleasantly surprised. Definitely recommend for some Vietnamese com tam (broken rice). The portions are a good size and I couldn't even finish it. Will come back again if I'm in the area.

Best Vietnamese food I've had in years. We had excellent service as well. We ordered goi cuon (spring rolls with shrimp and bbq pork) as well as broken rice dishes with shrimp and bbq pork. Can't wait to go here again!

The service and food are wonderful. My taste buds are screaming " I want more!". The place is very clean and staff goes out of its way to make sure you have a great dining experience! I had the grilled pork broken rice dish with two fried egg rolls and a Vietnamese coffee... cold. I always have enough for another meal. Delicious!!! And yes, you may quote me. 4.5 to 5.

The food was satisfying for our craving but just make sure you have cash on you if you plan to go. Wish they would've told us when they got there that their card reader's were down. Luckily one of us was able to still pay but still.

Still sooo delicious. They did a little remodel now you enter a different door, and the restaurant seems set out more like a restaurant, rather than workspaces with tables in between them. I nearly always got my favorite and did again today chicken and shrimp bun, so delicious! Five stars are for the food, simple and delicious. On Stockton and Fruitridge so you're gonna have to deal with panhandlers, and the like, in the parking lot sometimes. This might not be the safest place to go after dark . Inside, the ambience is better than it was. But still very cold in the winter; No heat going on at all. The same guy is always there as a greater, server, busser , cashier and I have a feeling it's a family affair in the kitchen as well. The silverware and condiments on the table and you walk up to pay. It is a simple place to go for great food.

Great food, but overpriced for the hole in the wall atmosphere. After food was given, no one came back to the table to see if we needed anything. The guy working was on his phone the entire time. Go somewhere else for a better experience.

Loved that they had a vegetarian section in their menu! We ordered their vegetarian vermicelli with mock pork and egg rolls. The portions were HUGE and the entire dish was delicious! There was a lot of vermicelli noodles and mock meat. The mock pork was largely cut, perfectly grilled and well seasoned. The dish was topped with two large vegetarian egg rolls, pickled carrots and daikon radish, green onions, and peanuts. They also provided us with vegetarian "fish sauce." The entire dish was very delicious and we will be back very soon again!

Had a great chat with the staff ~ very authentic pho ~ better than all the shop in San francisco ! to me that is ...

We just got off the plane. Yelp directed us here as the group wanted pho and Vietnamese coffees before we checked into our hotels. The establishment is a dive, mom and pop shop. Usually they produce the most authentic, best tasting food at a reasonable price at places like this. We were looking forward to our lunch. Surprisingly the dining area was empty on a Friday. We ordered 10 bowls of pho, 6 iced coffees, and a flavored boba tea. The flavor of the pho broth was off for us. Perhaps our group got a watered down pot? We all loaded it with hoison and sriracha but nothing could save it. Unfortunately the broth was shot. But the meat was fresh and so were the herbs. They gave plenty of noodles though. I prefer more noodles than meat and other toppings. The iced coffee was heavenly. It was the perfect drink for a hot September day. Definitely helped us to stay alert and fight a little jet lag. It was not overly sweeten. You can taste the bitter coffee and the creaminess. However, too much ice for my liking. Service was prompt. We didn't get our waters refilled immediately. We had to wave someone over for that. They forgot an order of boba for my 3 year old niece so when we eventually got it, she took it to go. Sacramento being such a populous Asian community, we were expecting a better pho experience. My mom and aunt joked that if we wanted pho before we leave the city, they'll brew a pot at the hotel.

One of my friends requested pho when they came to visit, and I was recommended this spot from someone, and was very impressed! I ordered the pho that came with rare sliced beef and tripe. There was only one size for their pho options, but it was more than enough for me! One thing that really impressed me was how fresh their beef was. The restaurant employées were all very nice and the food came out very quickly. I would definitely add this spot to my list of pho places on repeat :)
