We went to brunch on a Saturday. The brunch menu is limited which is good since it all looked good to order. I went with the Irish breakfast and tried the french toast as well. Both are amazing. The bar woodwork is awesome. The staff was friendly and very knowledgeable.

This review is long overdue! I've been going to deVere's for 11 years. Their food is second to none and their service staff makes you feel like family. Their fish and chips are my favorite. I also like the rueben with an over medium egg, the server suggested the egg and I'm so glad she did. I can't wait to visit them again as I moved out of town. I have to address the review from "The H." With everything that is going on the world and how restaurants have been threw the ringer, also many people would be elated to have your Irish Breakfast that you had, you chose to shame. I hope kindness and perspective grows in your heart. Will be back soon deVere's!

Finally back open, awesome! It looked great,Then I had brunch there again, not so awesome. I've been going there for their irish breakfast brunch for years. This was my first time back since the reopening. The pathetic excuse for an Irish breakfast that showed up at the table was, to say the least, extremely disappointing. No mash with the bangers, what tasted like rehydrated sun-dried tomatoes, bangers barely bigger than an American breakfast sausage and 1 small piece each of black and white pudding. The black pudding was bland and dry. I stopped eating it all. Very poor quality overall. Whatever they've done...shame on them. Oh, the Irish whiskey ordered took almost the whole meal to finally arrive. It was free though, the principal.

This spot is great! The Irish coffees are as good as the Buena Vista’s in SF (arguably better) and the food is delicious — we normally get the smoked salmon. Good mixed drinks. And if you’re going to get a Guinness anywhere this is the place. It tastes so much better from a tap in an Irish bar … it’s science or something. Lastly, their whiskey selection is the best in Sacramento hands down.Lastly lastly the warm crispy bread pudding desert with ice cream is insanely delicious and sweet.

My friend and I just wanted to grab some cocktails while waiting for our dinner reservation. We stopped here, thinking they'd have something simple. We were not expecting this beautiful, fun cocktails at an Irish pub! They had an interesting twist on a gin& tonic. While I prefer the classic, this was fun to try! The other cocktails were delicious too and the service was wonderful. Even though we sat outside, we were never waiting for the staff to check on us. The indoor area looks cute, like your typical Irish bar, and the food also looks delicious. Definitely would've ordered something if we weren't about to head to dinner. Don't miss this Sac spot!

We were stoked to see the De Vere's was back in business. Snug did not cut it. I believe it was day 3 of there reopening. Menu was smaller, but I'm sure they are going to build it back up. Rosie was an Irish treat. Place was quite and inviting. They also did some remodeling. We shared the new smoked salmon app and a few cocktails!!! Super tasty!!! See you soon for some Sheppard's Pie or Bangers and Mash!!!

In and outdoor seating at this pub. The usual brands of beer suspects are served here. Gotta try their vinegar curry eggs. That's right! It's served WHOLE in a shot glass. Sounded disturbing, but the group all had a second round! We all were imagining the best/proper to eat it! Fun! Great service. Servers worked well together to make sure our table was taken care of. I want to try their food next time!

After being turned down by their neighboring restaurant (won’t even name them) I am SOOO happy I ended up here! Their fish and chips were amazing, great curly fries, and amazing burger. Highly recommend
The worst veggie burger I had in my life. Twice I ordered it & both times it was horrible. No flavour. No taste. They must have gotten the paddy from Walmart.

After having such a fantastic experience at their Davis location, we came here to try this one! And they did not disappoint! Pretzels (we shared a couple!) were delicious! My kiddo really loved their grilled cheese, I loved their fish and chips! Hubby and rest of fam raved about their burgers. I also HAD to try their Mac and cheese - divine! We'll all definitely be back!

Great Irish pub with good food! Great location off L st and 16th. Many bars in the areas if you want to bar hop. Usually gets really busy on the weekends. Some bartenders are rude but I won't let that affect the restaurant...they might have been having a bad day.
